Wow, almost excactly the same. How weird. But it's so cool, because you know they probably wouldn't make the change if they weren't forced to.
Such an interesting subject.
I'd love to know if anyone else has had experiences that happened that forced them to change how they were living? And if so what was the impact on your life?

I moved unconsciously using loa but not quite as dramatically as your friend. The house I was living in was perfect when I moved in for what I needed particularly in terms of location for my work and my sons school and the size of the garden at the age he was when we moved in. Over time, as our needs changed I wanted to move but had a list of why i couldn't cost being the main one and wanting to stay pretty much in the location I was. I had a list of requirements that was quite long so I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't. I think the key was I thought about all the things I wanted in a house but didn't focus on not having them as my current location always still made it a good house. It was a good house - it just wasn't what I wanted.
Anyway through a variety of reasons I did have to move and in a short time scale. As the time was pressing I didnt have time to be attached to what I did want or focus on what I didn't want. I thought I might have to take something less than id find ideal in the shirt term. As it was, I found out I had to move in a month on a Monday, saw an advert in a shop window on the Thursday, phoned to see where it was fri morn ( very nearby but as I am rubbish at street names, I hadn't heard of it) viewed it fri afternoon and said I'd take it as soon as I saw it! It had everything on my perfect house requirements.
Had the decision not been forced on me to move, I'd probably have not got round to it. As it was, it was the only place I viewed, the money kind of fell into place and the guy I was seeing at the time stayed up day following a night shift and moved my stuff in huge van he borrowed for free from work.

Amazing Lise! And the fact that he could get the ban for free, perfect. :D
Reminds me of how I moved into the house I am in now...
I was living with a girl I knew from my work at the time. We had lived together for 10 months and it had been fine. Then she got this new boyfriend and everything began to change, he was always coming and going from our house at weird times and I suspected he was dealing drugs. Then she started acting weird and stealing from me. Then he got violent and I said to her that he had to stay away from our house, but she ignored me and took him back agin and I knew I had to move out. Within a day of deciding a friend of mine said he had found a new house to live in and asked me if I would live there with him... I agreed immediately and moved.. there was a lot more drama to do with that girl before she was out of my life... but the point is it felt like the wheels must have been turning for me to make the move to this house BEFORE I even had the problem.
Now I've been here for 5 years, have out stayed several housemates (new one on the way soon), but I love it.. and now, due to lots of changes that have been happening to me in my confidence and how I am living my life, I am starting up art classes from home next week and this house is PERFECT for that as I have a big old room unattached from the house I can use as my studio/classroom... it's like the perfection of it all was already in place.. the Universe seems to know what I was going to need, 5 years before I needed it!!
Maybe coincidence.. but I don't believe in them. :D

hm...
Well for the longest time I wanted an iPhone, but I wouldn't buy one because it was too pricey and then when the price went down to nearly free, I still didn't get one because I didn't want to change providers (I know, I'm difficult). Anyway, stuff happened where I had drama with my service provider and ended up cancelling my account and switching to a provider that sold iPhones and I finally got my iPhone. ::) If I hadn't gotten into that drama, I think I probably would've gotten a contract and settled for one of those older free blackberry phones.
It's a bit irritating being pushed into situations like that though. I'm kind of going through that with something else in my life right now. I've been wanting something different for a long time, but since things had been going so well I had no reason to look for change. Now that things are a bit crappy, I'm very open to change.
Sneha:
Change makes us feel awkward or uncomfrtable but that is when universe is moving things to brig us good ones :).Congrats for ur new iPhone.
