Small things in daily life

I mostly attract small things that make my daily life easier, such as green traffic lights, a room for my car at the parking lot, a new cashier at the super market. These things don't feel important enough to account for success stories or even for a thread in this category. Still, they are so easy to forget and it is nice to know that it works. So I will try to remember to now and then put at least the more significant of them in this thread.

Today, I attracted not only room for my car on a long in advance full booked long distance ferry, but also a private cabin of my own - and not only any cabin, but a cabin where my dog was allowed! This was really great, because this whole week was probably booked for months in advance and the chances to get even a place for my car was really low. Getting a cabin may be even harder and to get a cabin where dogs are allowed you even normally have to book months in advance (there are only a few of those on the ferry). So, this was really great!

Today, I also attracted a small writing job, that opened up a possibility to publish my work on a regulary basis which I have been looking for for some time. This appears to be exactly what I have been looking for. And funny enough, it also pays (not very much), although this kind of work don't normally do.

In both cases, I was totally detatched to the subject when the oportunities opened up. When it comes to the ferry, I was so convinced that there would be room for me that  I didn't care to think about booking even one day in advance. First time I phoned, I got a little worried, but not much. Second time, I was offered another opportunity, which I did not like very much but decided to go with if there was no better option. Third time, I was totally detached, and then there had been an unexpected concellation from another customer.  When it comes to the publishing opportunity, I have been thinking about this for several years, but not until a few months ago I started to get some motivation to really do it. Before that I was too lazy and would most likely have turned down the offer I accepted today. I also always thought we should be paid for this kind of work. Hopefully this will open up more opportunities for me to make a lot more money. I really don't like having to work to make money, but maybe I can invest them in the stock market and visualise them growing a lot!

It's so nice to read this post.  So many people try only for the big stuff and completely overlook the small stuff.  I remember just after I started my coaching business a person I vaguely new said to me "So if this law of attraction stuff is so great why are you living in a two bedroom apartment and not a flash villa?"  I was slightly stunned by his comment.  After all I was very happy living in our two bedroom appartment in a beautiful coastal resort with a two minute walk to the sea. Here was my reply "Because if I was living in a flashy villa, I'd be living your dream and not mine."
Although I have now moved to a larger villa.  We moved when the time was good for us and when we wanted too. 
My point is it's not always the big things that make us happy.
For me it's a smile from someone I love.  It's a thank you.  It's attracting a new client I am going to really enjoy working with.  It's having a happy and loving family.  It's attracting wonderful people into my life who make me feel great.
Of course I also like to attract the big things like my fab car which I love, my perfect holidays and great seats on the plane. 
Attract what you want big or small.

@loaliving~ Your point is right on.  The best thing about people in general is that we ALL different.  We want different things.  That is how the world goes round and why it is such a wonderful place.

@Bele - The best part is attracting the smaller things.  It gives you immediate gratification.  However, when you get the big fish, it's AWESOME!!  Keep up all that you are doing!!

Actually, I forgot about this tread. There has been a few things I should have written about here. The next time I took that same long distant ferry I wrote about before, I decided to really put the LOA to a test. I didn’t even care to phone to se if there was room for my car. I just went there. And behold! Although the ferry was almost full, there was room for one more car! Maybe they would have been able to squeeze in one or maybe two more cars, but then the ferry had been totally full.

I wonder why there is so much advice about attracting money. Actually, that’s rather easy - compared to some other things. I already have more than I need, and other things are more important to me, but something funny just happened these last weeks. First, I thought it would be fine if I could make another 15.000 $. The next day I got a small assignment from a client where we agreed on that exact maximum sum for my work, which I did in a few days. My bill was on 15.000 $. Then I thought it would be nice if another 15.000 $ could just come to me, without me having to work for them. And today they did – in a way. I suddenly got paid for an old invoice which I had forgotten about. The sum was again: 15.000 $.
