Sorry to say this but, you seem to be obsessed with this book, and devoid of the "love" it professes. I find you are rather agressive. I read both the power & the secret, but neither have become my bedside books. And I am quite successful with the LOA.

Joyce, I enjoy your enthusiasm for the Power and see no reason for you to tone it down. I know when you love something that it's natural to want to share that with other people and for them to get what you're getting from it. Anything that lifts your vibration has got to be good.

When you are determined to see the good you will find there is a lot of good in what I have written. If all you want to see is the bad you will be blind to everything else. This is basic Law of Attraction at work.

I've been considering the concept of Jesus dying for my sins

According to Christianity, I'm worthy enough to commit sin, but not worthy enough to die for it.

Heck, I figure since I'm going to die anyhow I might as well kill two birds with one stone and die for my own sins at the same time, right? WRONG!

God's reasoning is that the only person worthy to die for my mistakes is someone who shouldn't be punished at all!

Punish him for being too 'worthy'? That's what you get!

And what's his reward? Spending eternity being worshiped by soft, pudgy Christians. That's a Heavenly reward? Sounds more like hell to me.

It seems God desperately needs psychiatric help. Four sessions a week for a few centuries should do it. Then God would be allowed to run the Universe again. Until that time leave the job to the Republicans. There's no telling just what they can accomplish once they finally have enough money. Yes, there's no telling... so don't bother asking.

I'm into solid, dependable, easy to understand, non-philosophical solutions like speed bumps. If your neighborhood is having trouble with people speeding complain to the authorities until they install speed bumps. That will solve the problem alright. I mean, no matter how fast someone wants to drive if he sees an artificial mountain in the middle of the road chances are he's going to slow down, right? Voila! Speeding problem solved!
