Here's a cool technique that I use ...

I like to set up a slide show on Iphoto (MAC) or Windows Live Photo Gallery (PC). I'll take some of the photos that I've collected off of the internet (Flickr, Google Images, Etc.) along with some family photos and mix them together. Then I'll put on some of what I call "Emotional" Music like Coldplay or something similar. I do that every morning. I even created a folder called "Happy Time" that has some old pictures of me with friends and family as well as some pictures of the things that I would like to manifest. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Hm very interesting.
I do something similar like, I get ambience sounds for example of a beach. I put my earphones and feel like I am really on a beach hearing the waves and gulls and visualising myself with friends or the one I love. Or maybe sounds of bowling like people around talking and the noise of pins falling and I see myself with my friends there. It's really fun and realistic.

I've created my VB as a .ppt Presentation on my laptop. I've used 1 slide / category,
(i.e. Love; Relationship & Marriage, Finance; Investments & Money (2), Transporatation (1), House (1) & Others (2))
All these Slides keep refelecting as my Wallpaper every 1 minute automatically.

I've also inserted music files on most of the slides along with my pic on all the slides.

Do you generally find that using an actual image (like on the computer or a physical picture) is better than just trying to visualize it?

Just speaking for myself, I find that the act of visualizing an image or scene (including other senses like touch, hearing and smell) is a lot more powerful for me. But then again, that does take time and effort; although it does sometimes come very easily.
