Dear Kurdt,

Well, actually it was a mix of things. I listened (finally) to the advice that was given to me here. I practiced Ho'oponopono and EFT to rid myself of my limiting beliefs, I listened to Buddhist mantras + binaural beats, I LET GO (at last)  while having solid rock Faith in the outcome, without being attached to it. And I practiced intensive gratitude statements (still do) I sent blessings to passers-by on the streets.... blessings to everyone, even with people I had no interaction with. I felt (feel) gratitude for a simple glass of water, to the point where a glass of water would bring tears to my eyes. I stopped trying to attract my guy back physically, only spiritually. And things shifted practically overnight. Whenever I saw children playing I would say to myself : I am that child, I am as happy as that carefree, squealing with delight child and my happiness does not depend upon Patrick but solely on my own self.

It was as simple as that. When I look back in retrospect, I now say that this terrible ordeal is a blessing, because it has helped me grow spiritually and truly find myself and find inner peace.

As we say "ce qui ne nous tue pas nous rend plus fort" (i don't know the translation in english ^^) and even is this story was really hard for you, sad, et.. You go through perfectly and now, you know that you have a new power to create whatever ou want in your life. I think attracting an ex back is one of the most difficult thning to achieve with the LOA  and you did it!!

I didn't check my height (I'm in England now and I can't check my height) but it's a good thing, checking my height once a month or once every three months is better thant every weeks ^^
Also I'll try not to speak to much about it because as you said, the more you speak abut it, the more you dissipate theKurdt energy you put into.

Yes it is difficult, because of all the feelings of attachment.
But not impossible. I hope my story that was so sad helps people here.

Hello Katie!

I'm remember suggesting Hoponopono and EFT to you, but you used to say that you couldn't feel any shift after using them.
I'd really like to know "when" and "how" you started to notice the changes (inside and outside yourself) ..
What was your pattern? How much did you practice Hopono and EFT?

Hi Miracles !

I did try EFT & Ho'op at first, but to no avail. I was such a nervous wreck at that time (and that's an understatement) that I just couldn't "get into" the techniques.

One night, we were in Patrick's car going some place, and he started saying the meanest, cruellest, hurtful things ever. I am a very emotional person, and I immediately started crying my eyes out. A tidal wave of anxiety and despair hit me, and I was literally drowning in it

Then I said to myself : wait a minute here Kate. You can't let him do this to you, you can't let him hurt you like that. And then and there, in the car, I started tapping, saying to myself "I totally love and accept myself, whatever P. says or does doesn't matter to me".

Patrick noticed I was tapping (he knows nothing about the LOA or EFT or anything) and he stopped the car and asked : what are you doing ? Are you crazy ? what is wrong with you ?

I didn't answer, just kept on tapping. Not one session, but about 3 or 4 sessions of tapping. He sat there, staring at me. And he said : you are going to end up in a mental institution !!! 

From that night on, I started reaping the benefits of EFT. Then I started Ho'op. I did alot of research, here on this forum and on the internet. I found an old post written by Leyline and I made it mine.

"Please forgive me, for everything that is inside me that may contribute to the present reality.
I love you (the Divine)
I love me.
I thank the Divine that takes from within me everything that may contribute to the present reality.
thank you"

I practiced both methods several times each day. Consistency is a key to success.

Little by little, I detached from him  at last, and I felt so free !

Then I discovered gratitude, and that tool worked wonders also. Really ! it works !

Ho'pono is just AMAZING! I used it in my darkest moments and it turned the situation completely!!!
EFT, I'm still getting the hang of it. I use it now to let go of strong bursts of negative emotion or worry/fear.
I want to figure out how to use it for affirmation though!

It 9:35 am here Miracles, not much time difference in our countries I think !

And what I mean is I'd like to know if EFT could be used for affirmations. I don't know if anyone uses it in that way, But I think it could work very well!!

May I add that I tried the Sedona Method too, but I didn't get into it. I don't like how the book is written. This is my opinion, I'm not saying it doesn't work ! It does ! But not for me. We all must find what suits us best
