My Magic Golden Notebook
« on: October 15, 2011, 12:13:58 AM »
My father gave me a beautiful blank golden, lined, hardcover notebook with turtles etched on the front and back, for christmas last year around the time where i discovered LOA and on the first page, he wrote "a beautiful journal for the beautiful thoughts of my beautiful daughter. Remember: never be in the clouds, always be in the sky!" and i never really knew how important it was to me, until i started to write in it. I thought to myself "you know, what if this notebook wasn't ordinary, what if it had magical powers, and that everything i wrote in it came true?" so i decided to put it to the test. I wanted to attract my exboyfriend bobby, (which at the time i thought was nearly impossible, since the last thing he said to me a year ago was "stay out of my life, you crazy____) so i started a list which i called "small goals" and below that i put a phrase i made up "let this golden magical notebook release positive vibrations to make all the dreams stated below a reality."

I first wrote down two small things i wanted to happen: the first i put down "Bobby will text me a 30 minute (or more) conversation." the second i put down "Bobby will text 'where are you?' and meet me face to face." i put the date i imagined the idea, and an empty check box next to each idea. I then closed the notebook, and just trusted that everything i put down there will happen, and that i don't need to worry about it.

Result?
EXACTLY 3 weeks after i wrote down the two small goals, they became a reality.
What is even stranger, is that they both happened on the same day.  :o

I was completely blown away by these results and i continued to put more and more small goals down in my magic notebook and they keep coming true.

What's really funny, is that after my first two goals came true, he stopped talking to me for a week, and i thought "huh, i wonder why this all stopped." and i didn't realize it until later, that it was because i didn't put down what i wanted to do next!  :P

I hope this story inspires you to go out there and make your dreams come true!
the Laws of Attraction Truly work!!!  ;D

Thank you for sharing!!
I have also started something like that a little while ago, it helps to make a list of goals as when we start crossing things off that list it builds our confidence and we can then gradually move on to bigger things!

What is what you consider the biggest thing that you've manifested with this method?

Hi Tins,

Sure.
This might seem long but if you want to skip, please read the starred points.

In our mind, there is chaos of thoughts going on. Studies say that in a day, at least 60,000 thoughts pop up in our mind. But they vanish at the next moment and something else takes its place. Our brain remembers only those stuffs which it considers significant. Often, the solution to your current problem appears as a vague idea, but since it is insignificant at that moment, we fail to understand its importance.

When we journal what we feel, what we think in a diary or a notebook, we put down what’s going on inside us as a record. It is like we are constantly recording our feelings and thoughts.

* What is the purpose of records and tapes after all? We get substantial data out of it. Crime investigators often go over the tapes and Cds again and again so as to make sure that they have not missed any important piece of evidence. Also when we look at a record at different points of time, we see it from different perspective. You can apply the same analogy to your life. Suppose that you are facing a certain problem and well, whatever you try it refuses to let you go. It is beneficial to journal all your feelings in a diary or notebook. If you read your pervious thoughts a week hence, you discover that yes, there is a way out of it or well I have not tried something.

* Again say you are a person, who is low on confidence or feel that all the bad things are happening to you. Then journaling can help you know yourself better. Trust me, when I first took to journaling, I was appalled at the amount of negative thoughts I had in my mind. I had resentment towards every person I came in contact with. I overanalyzed everyone and tried to find faults with others. I had almost no friends. The best part is that I was able to reverse the situation. My life is much better than it was 11 years ago. I wouldn't have been able to manifest this retrieved reformation unless I came into terms with who I am and who I wanted to become.

The best part of journaling is goal setting :)

* Your brain usually doesn't register what it considers as not important. Often, you might have experienced that when you try to memorize a boring piece of text, you have to repeat it a number of times. Your brain says okay, since this person is reading this rubbish again and again, it may not be unimportant at all. All right I will register it. That’s exactly how journaling works. You write down something and when you come back to it again and again, you re-iterate the goal. Then it drives you to make a decision. And you all know that once we make a decision (I mean committed decision), we rarely turn around.

How did I manifest my job? Well, I was studying in my last year for graduation. My friends said that recession has come so we would not get a job. But I refused to believe them. I wrote down clearly in my diary.
I AM WORKING AT ____ COMPANY BY ___ 2008.
One day, my dad came and said that his friend has a relative in ****** company. Okay, I filled the gap and said I should approach him. I talked to him and came to know that there was no vacancy currently. But I knew that the job was mine. At the same time, I was told by that friend that I should visit his friend. I visited but against my wish. At usual, that person insulted me and said that how incapable I was to achieve something. But it was okay, it was a relief. Then I saw an advertisement of xxx country and I felt elated. Okay I wrote down the name of the country in the diary. Then again I heard about how the world is going mobile and how I would like to know more about it. I again wrote that in my diary. I read it after 7 days. 8th day I got a call from ****** company and they said that the client belonged to xxx country and it dealt with wireless technology. I felt deja vu :)

It might sound that I am bragging but the point is if I can do it, anyone can.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
Shrikanya

You have to believe that's the secret.27 December 2009 I told my friends, I am going to work out my months notice and then I'm starting my new job beginning February. I had not gone for any job interviews at that point in time. They laughed and guess what I started my new job 8 February 2010. I said it without a doubt in my mind and it worked.

Oh I wish i had such a notebook, gived with love, made to be special. these kinds of notebooks makes LOA easier, cause you believe that it WILL work out, since you wrote it into THAT magic notebook. Unfortunately, all i have is a metal box where i put papers with wishes, cause everytime i try to put it into any of my notebooks its seems unreal. ant the vision boards are quite confusing (especially when i hardly understand the instructions of making it)
I am really happy for you, keep up the good work, and dont forget what you have learned

Aorijet, Sometimes when i write things down i look back on it on really good feeling days, and let it resonate within me and it helps it to send out positive vibes to the universe. Other days i don't need to look at it, i would just know that whatever ive written down will come true. :)

I did manifest a strong friendship with my ex, but that ended a few weeks later because i constantly worried what would happen next. So what i did today, was i made a gratitude list or what i call a  "what would it look like" list. I copied off of Bill Harris' method, in that when things looked bad he would ask himself "what would it look like if ___________ happened?" and the brain would make a list of what would happen and start to manifest it. It's like worrying about "what would happen if____ happened" except in a positive manner. I made a list of all the qualities my ex would have, if we would both have a happy loving healthy relationship with each other, even if the things on there are currently true about him. I put it in my notebook and released all the positive thoughts and things ive listed to the universe, and expressed a large amount of gratitude towards them.

Ive also started listening to binaural waves and meditating positive thoughts, with delta and alpha waves, and hopefully that will speed up my manifestation! :D

I also wish I could have something like that but my daughter loves notebooks more than I do and she likes to color on every page. Instead I use a free software called iDailyDiary, which is password protected. There is a page for every day of the month at the bottom of the software lined up like a calendar, so I can easily navigate back and fourth. I highlight the things that I think I might need for future journal entries. And the really cool thing is that I can go out on the net and find a picture to insert into that days entry which really helps when you are trying to feel the feelings of already having the things you wish for in your life. So my vision board is one day at a time instead of a collage of different pictures hastily arranged on a poster board or something. I back the whole thing up to a flash drive in case I want to switch to the laptop or something. Really handy.
