i sent a message i have been plannig  for awhile .. i JUST knew he wld respond .. it took a few hrs but he did he told me he was at work and we WILL talk another time...

i have sent numerous messages... he ignores most of them .. but ive sent 2 in the last 2 weeks and he has responded to both. ......YAYYYYYY :P

and its really funny .. cuz i have been getting hit on by men left and right last cpl weeks .. even the bug man tried to  get a date with me...lol

that's great! :D i'm really happy for you. here's to hoping that one day i'll receive a msg from my guy too, hehe. just out of curiosity, what sort of text was it? was it like a "how are you?" sorta text that he replied to or something more emotional?

well heres the thing love and cupckakes... we broke up in sept 2011 ... we have had some contact and saw each other back in may.. i started off by sending him a text every cpl weeks ... he didnt reply.. at all totally ignored me... in fact it was 3 months b4 i ever heard frm him.... but nothing happened (it was basically a Merry Christmas)  nothing more.... so i stopped texting him for awhile...and got another frm him a month later... for me it seemed like he was opening the door to communicate with me .. so id start blowing up his phone w texts trying to keep it going... again hed go quiet

so i stopped once again and he texted me cpl months later .. wanting to see me... i didnt see him because i felt like i was still too needy and because i wanted this to work so badly i felt like i wld accept anything he wld offer(not good)

so i didnt text .. one afternoon i sent a txt just telling  him i was thinking of him and he sent one right back saying tht since his div he just needed to be free awhile.. he and i saw each other tht same night but still i felt like i was accepting  whatever he could offer... again not what i wanted

I have NOT heard frm him at all since MAY 2012.. not one single word

I sent him a text abt once a month thru august NO REPLY AT ALL

so i hadnt sent anything since aug and on his bday in NOV i sent a msg which he immedietly responded to

i ddnt get crazy and start texting after tht like i normally do

but felt inspired to give it a cpl weeks ... i sent one this past sat telling him he should call sometime...

it was a few hrs b4 he replied .. saying he was sorry he was at work and maybe we cld talk later

so it may seem small ... but trust me with HIM ITS HUGE!

so no not sweet or romantic... but  to get a response .. something is happening and  he has responded to both texts in this month.. i will leave it to him for now to contact me .. i told him he knew how to get in touch .. so time will tell

DIDNT MEAN TO WRITE A NOVEL... but it has been a long time .. i am feeling mnore confident than i have in a long time .. not just about him but abt myself..ive been getting  attention frm men ... i had someone pay my way into a club the other night tht didnt even know me ... guys asking friends about me ... im like HUH LOL..

so even though most may think its no big deal .. TRUST me with him its a big deal ... and why i am even posting about 1 or 2 texts

i have never given up on him... so we will see what happens next

That's really great! :) He's definitely opening up to you, I'm glad for you!

Haha, I totally get what you mean by "blowing up" his phone. I'm like that too, with my guy I just bombarded him with texts after our breakup and kept calling him, etc. Went on for 2 months with some NC in between, needless to say he got so annoyed and irritated that he blocked me from everywhere.

I'm in NC right now, 8th day I believe. I hope that one day I'll hear from him too, just like you did :) Right now I'm just going to give him some time by himself. I haven't given him any time to miss me proper, the NC we had over the last 2 months was 3 weeks at most, doubt that's enough time for him to think of me or on past memories. I'm hoping that with time he'll remember the good times and possibly miss me again! :) Crossing my fingers!!!

Good luck with your guy! Do keep us updated if he calls or if you guys have any contact again, reading mini success stories such as this gives me hope as well :D

would also just like to say us oldies here... i dont post as often as i used to.. but im here every day reading this forum.. it has kept me focused on my goal ... my goal isnt JUST to get him back ...its to believe in myself and be confident .. it was to help me regain my confidence i have manifested  things  from a feather to $2000.00...

support is crucial for me .. and JUST reading here  made all this happen .. days when i was down i would read read read this forum .. even re reading stories i had read many times .. so i knew it was possible

am i all the way there yet .. no.. but i get closer with each passing day .. and this is the thing im ok with whatever happens .. i know he and i wldnt have made it had we gotten back together a yr ago.. but i know with time we will be ok.. I NEEDED that time

Ty Sugarplum... hopefully i will soon be spending time with him like you have with your guy... i have always knwn it wld work out no matter how doubtful i got some days... deep down  i just know we  will make it ...

i used to post  ALOT .. if u look back at my posts u will see how i have heard frm him before and i wld over think it and he wld go quiet again... i dont do that any more i have learned some HARD but very valuable lessons in this last year

I read this novel by James Patterson(author of a walk to remember & notebook), the whole story is based on a girl whose in love with this exceptionally great guy, but then he gets diagnosed with some disease. He is dying but, he fights back all the almost fatal surgeries for her,,,,,,,,,,the final lines of this novel are,
"love never dies"
