Hi all,

I had an account here before but I can not seem to remember my user name or password... None the less I am here again to tell you the amazing story of LoA and the return of my Ex... We will name him Bert

Bert and I were married in 2009.... Unfortunately, due to many negative things Bert filed for divorce in October 2009 (short marriage)... I had moved out in December 2009 and was heart broken beyond belief... I cried, I begged, I fought I did everything you SHOULD NOT do..

In April the divorce was final... That is when I found my biggest strength... The book and DVD 'The Secret' as well as this site. It's not that I have not known about the LoA for many many years but I was NOT using it in the right way.... All I thought was negative thoughts... And they came to me just as I attracted them.... When they say the LoA is very obedient... THEY MEAN IT!!!

I started my Gratitude journal on May 1, 2010.... I changed every negative thought about Bert into a positive thought. I gave thanks to everything and everyone in my life... I can tell you I felt better and better every day... Small things started to change in my life and I continued to be thankful.

I wrote in my journal just how I wanted Bert to contact me ( mind you it had been 3 months with no contact at all and our last interaction was very nasty). I even wrote the date that I would like him to contact me by.... That was May 3, 2010... By May 9, 2010 I received and e mail from Bert wishing me a happy mothers day and telling me that he misses me. I wrote him back thanking him and we e mailed back and forth for a bit... That day Bert called me and we spoke for 4 hours. From May 9th on we were in constant contact and our relationship was growing

I still wrote in my journal for how I wanted things to work out... I wrote that I wanted to be back in HB by August...With a full time job and living with Bert.. I would write it as detailed as I could see it in my mind.

To make a long story short... I got everything I wrote and believed... I went back to HB... I was living with Bert....I had a full time job... all was happening just as I had written... It was so amazing.. It was so powerful... I felt so good....

However, I got everything i believed.... I also had some negative thoughts that had come in and went unchecked and festered....

I thought about Bert's ex girlfriend and how I did not like that they were friends... I thought or felt something was a miss..... I went through his computer and i phone... And I got the conformation that there were some dishonesty on his part... He had gotten back together with "KAT" while we were apart... That would have been fine and not too big of a deal... Except when we were getting back together... The biggest part was to be 100% honest. I had asked him if he and KAT were ever back together and he said no... The emails show otherwise.

In the end I broke up with Bert... I had caught him in many more lies than just KAT... I miss him very much.. I still love who I thought he was... I know that I could attract him back again... But I want the "good" Bert... Not the lying Burt.... and the only person who can change him is him...

My point of this story is... Yes, you can attract your ex back.... I did...

My question's are this.... Did I create him going back to his ex? Or did I create him to lie about it?

My next question is this... Will the LoA give you something (such as my ex back) and then "hurt" me with it? Was this a lesson from the Universe that Bert is NOT the one???

I still have many decisions to make... I am still a bit confused if I want to attract him back....Because the person I want back may not be the person he is...

I just wanted to share my story with all of you... I know there are many of you out there who want their ex's back... My advice is write it... in very descriptive detail.. Visualize it... FEEL IT! and let it go... It came to me so fast, It was hard to believe... But just as fast as it came... it went away.... So mind your thoughts... Mind your words.... It is all very powerful

Great story and congrats on at least making loa work for you! Having faith is a big must but in your writing I saw that you went through his iphone and computer which indicates trust issues and you got what you put out! Mabe if in your writing you woulda put he is very honest mabe that would of happened better for you! Just a thought! Idk if you did put that but congrats anyways, such an inspiring story! I would of gotten my ex gf back but I changed my wants and she was not in it anymore I was so close to! She said she misses me and everything but I was kind of dating another girl and my wants changed for the time but now I dont talk to the new girl and I find myself missing my ex again! Well gl on your next chance!

As I have written somewhere before, there is not only an art of asking (visualizing) and an art of allowing (believing or letting go), but also an art of receiving. Getting what you really, really want is such a profound experience that it may be very difficult to deal with.

I did not write about him being honest...Very good point! Thank you.. And yes, I believe I did attract the dishonesty from him.... I was very distrustful of him so.... There it is again LoA works....EVERY TIME Actually, It is what I expected...

I have not written what I want yet because I am truly unsure if it is Bert that I want. When I feel in that creative moment to write... I will know exactly what it is that I want... I do know this.. I want him to send me stargazer lilies and I have already started to visualize the flower delivery man... the way they look... they way they smell... the glass vase and the wonderful card attached...

Thanks for the story Grateful!!!

I think it will give hope to a lot of us here and also ideas on figuring out what it is we want or how we want the relationship to be when our ex does return to us. The bit where you talk about him being dishonest and you not having pointed that out in you visualising ect is very helpful. Most of us think on the idea of just getting them back and not realising at to why, what or how the relationship ended and asking for the opposite of those negative reasons and concentrating on that so as to not attract the lover back only to lose them because you forgot to mention the obvious things.

You know, some people are fearful of being honest with what they did while they were not with you, or embarrassed. My gf is with another man, she will not really say it, but at this point she is not with me, and honestly, I really do not want to know what she is doing with him. It really is none of my business. If he came back he loves you, and forgiveness is part or positive emotions. You did manifest him leaving again, let his relationship with Kat go, do not even think of her and she does not exist. I found an interesting technique in getting the ex back on the Secret website.

Yes, it was in the past, I agree.... There are some other issues I left out of the story due to privacy...In the end I am sure that my ex loves me, loved me... I am the one who is now unsure if he "is the one". His life with Kat is very intertwined... as he now has a car and credit cards in "their" names. I have let it go... I have yet to decide what I want so for now I am enjoying my life... Having fun with my daughter (who was in a play today) and loving the wonderful weather here in the East... I am very happy and grateful for what I have right now.... I did read your link and Thank you... I try and read those success stories every day... They show just how powerful we all are... I wish you all the best in getting your ex back if that is your hearts desire...

Grateful, thank you for sharing how LOA works for you in getting your ex back as well as what we should know as we do our affirmations with the qualities that we want. Yes, getting an ex back really requires a very forgiving heart, for ourselves and for our ex for the past actions that has been said and done. When I was that broke when my relationship ended, the Universe granted my wish and show me the way to be truly happy and The Secret movie ended in my hands. And then, I have the chance to be here in this forum, and greatly helped by positive people and have all the inspirations to stay happy. And when I have learned about LOA, I was no longer that sure if I wanted him back, most that he is already in a relationship, not because that he is already in a relationship but on the qualities of a man I am looking for. And one thing is for sure, the Universe will not grant less than what we ask for.

I wish you all the best in attracting the man of your dreams, if its him or not, one thing is for sure you deserve to be happy and to have the best in love and in life. Best of LOA

What if there is someone who you fell in love with and vice versa when they were married (and still are) and still have feelings for them. Is it going against the LOA to want someone who is in a relationship with someone else, because you are looking at the world from a place of lack?

@Secretmaster: When the other party is still married, I think it is just right to affirm for a perfect man/woman with whom you can share a fulfilling and loving relationship with, by your divine right. If he/she is the perfect one, everything will fall into place, and no matter where you are and who you are with, both of your roads will really cross in the future. When he/she is already married, I think it is just right to let go completely. The more that you will want him/her back, the more that negative feelings will fuel up inside of you. Letting go is the first step, and let LOA do the rest.

Great job grateful!How did you write your wish about Bert contacting you on May 3.For example,I'm happy & grateful that Bert is contacting me on May 3,2010 or whatever way you wrote it.Please share it.I think you wrote it in a way that it really became powerful.That is what I would want to attract first before the love thing.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.. I had to get my journal and re read what I wrote... Thank you for your request as it made me remember just how powerful LoA is....You just helped me

Now to answer your question.... I started my Journal on May 2, 2010...On the front of my journal is pictures of Burt and I as well as the word Gratitude and some other things i wish to attract into my life. (vision board/ journal)

My first entry into the journal is written in a way that Burt had forgiven me and had learned the truth about some lies that had gone on during our marriage. It was written as if it had already happened and I was very thankful... After the entry I would write all of the things I was grateful for that day...

I would try to write in my journal everyday about the loving e mail that Burt sent to me. I would even write my e mail address as well as his... and Everyday after the entry I would write what I was grateful for...

On May 5,2010, I wrote my "order" to the Universe.. I wrote that I knew the Universe was making a way for me to get my loving e mail from Burt on Mothers Day May 9th, 2010..I also wrote how I know how powerful I am and I thanked God and His Universe. I again wrote what I was grateful for....

The next page is where I wrote that Burt did e mail me... Even when I read it now.. You can feel the Love and positive energy from these pages.... The e mail Burt sent was on May 9, 2010 and we did rekindle our loving relationship...

I can only say that it works.. In my personal opinion the WRITTEN word has more feeling than a typed word (again just my opinion). Visualize while you write hold on to the love and let go of every negative word, thought, action and feeling...

This is what is fact... I had not spoken to Burt for 3 months.. The end of our marriage was very bitter and full of hurt and anger. I had to shift all of that hurt and anger into forgiveness and love. I had to believe what I wanted would happen for me because it is what I wanted from the Universe. You must give everything and everyone around you LOVE.

Also, one last thing that I did... I went to sleep every night with the DVD of The Secret playing....

I'm having a difficult time staying optimisitc about getting back with my ex. I had acted needy and desperate and non-confident long enough practically begging him to come back. He said no numerous times and I basically drove him away and he's not attracted to me. He just wants to be friends and every time I mentioned more he said, I can't even do that. So.......when I have a chance to meet men now, and I think I'm open to it, i close when in my heart or mind I think of him and that new person, isn't him. How do I utilize the loa to get him back or is it in thinking that, I'm restricting the flow. I can I picture us being together happily and feeling good and also meet other men. I think i get it at times, but then I loose it quickly, especially if I happen to see my ex on a dating website looking for someone else.

Please advise

You have to become 100% clear about what you want!!! If you want your ex back and then start to date other men you are sending the Universe a mixed message and you will get back a mixed result.

We all have days where it is hard to stay optimistic. When you are feeling that way try to find ways of putting yourself back in a positive state of mind. It could be writing in your Journal about the way your ex comes back to you, or visualization...

Whatever you did or how ever you acted in the past... is in the past... Become the YOU, you want to be. Fill yourself with love and tell yourself often how great you are... I do not know you but I am sure you have many amazing qualities... Focus on those...Also focus on the amazing qualities you love about your ex.

So, to answer your question...

1. Make sure 100% you want your ex back

2. Visualize or write the end result of you two being together

3. Stay in the NOW

4. be grateful for all that you have in your life

My last little piece of advice (more of an opinion) do not cyber stalk him...

Let the Universe deal with the "hows"..... Sometimes its just better to not know everything your ex is doing, Especially if it makes you feel in a negative way...
