Hi all. I'm just now getting my LOA mindset together and I'm not 100% there yet (still tend to worry how this or that will be paid) but here ya go:
1. I have wanted an iPad since they came out. Wasn't obsessed with them but always thought it would be fun to have. Needless to say its $500 price tag was more than my husband and I could afford. I had planned to put a picture of my iPad on a vision board; just hadn't gotten around to finding a picture to cut out for it. Our 4th anniversary is coming up and I told my husband I wanted an iPad, knowing he couldn't afford it-- was a joke really. Last week we were at a friend's house, and out of nowhere he mentioned he wanted to buy the new iPad3 coming out and thus wanted to sell his 1st gen one. Long story short, he sold it to us for $200. It's in perfect condition and suits me fine! Even the refurbs and used ones on eBay don't sell that cheap. Last Friday I got my iPad!
2. My mom has a pair of gold and diamond hoop earrings. She'd bought them on sale at Macy's for $100. Again, out of my budget. I always liked them and thought maybe if I saved for a few months/paid other stuff, I could get a pair for myself. It was more of a "I really want those" feeling. I stopped by my folks' house the other night and out of nowhere, my mom comes up to me with a box. It's a pair of the same earrings, only with black diamonds. She said "I was going to save them for a birthday gift or something, but I'll go on and give them to you." Whoa!

Now what I want more than anything is to have $1300 to pay my income tax, $800 to pay a medical bill, and $600 by March 31 for property tax.
