Hi friends,
Let me share with you my experience of LOA. My girlfriend introduced me to the world of LOA. I was working as a credit analyst in a leading credit rating agency in India. However there was no real fun and the pay was really low. Basically I had no heart in credit evaluation and I had to take up job owing to the economic recession. I always wanted to be in investment banking. However, I used 2 cage myself in the past on account of various dummy reasons like:
I have no experience in investment banking
I have no brand name of a college on my side
I have no contacts in Industry
I have no skills… Blah, blah, blah…….
When the work sucked big time and I was losing interest in everything, there was no learning and no growth. During the conversation, my girl friend recommended a book to me ‘Secret’ & this is how I was introduced to the LOA.
I started to apply LOA. I selected a company which I wanted to get in. It is a boutique but provides excellent growth & learning opportunities. I sent them my resume, I tried to network with the people in that company. However there was no immediate positive response. However at the back of my mind, I always used 2 visualise working in that organization with a profile I wanted. I always kept that visualization alive and made it my daily routine. I was interviewed in other organizations and bagged two offers. One evening, I had wrapped up my daily work and was waiting for my colleague to finish his so that we could drive home. I decided to kill my time in-between & just re-forwarded my resume to my dream company. The very next day, I got a call from that company unexpectedly. It was a very pleasant surprise. I went there, had 3 rounds of interview, cracked the practical modeling test and I am working in that company now. In all with the help of LOA I bagged three better offers and selected the best one.
However there is a big learning lesson to me. While the money I am getting now is better than my last job, I wanted much more. However since I was not getting initial success, I decided to compromise on pay part. When I was being interview for this boutique investment bank, I asked for the money I had decided initially. But they offered me the money I had thought in my mind (the compromised part). This was a big learning lesson. While I got a offer, I got what I visualized. Had I visualized about the original amount, I would have got it. Since I compromised, I got what I visualized & friends I exactly got the same amount. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now I ask what I want & I don’t fear to ask large share. The important lesson here is to keep faith, come what may. One gets exactly what one thinks and feels.

Another major learning experience. It has been more than two months since I joined this organization. Now they have introduced the incentives plan (i work in merger advisory firm.. So it was expected whereby we are granted bonus on the basis of the business generated by the firm & good news is that consolidated (bonus+base salary) is the same that I envisaged.  Not only the plan was introduced & the business as well is booming.
The learning experience is that, one should not burden/worry about how to get money. Once we ask what we want, just do your bit & relax. Universe takes care how to do it.

I notice that when a person is in a good mood, but something bad happens...It is a result of you wanting something better. So even when something bad happen when your thought patterning is right, mean that you are being lead to something much better.

The worst it is, the better and quicker the change will come.
