Back with the One I Love.......

  I Just have to Post this.

   12 years ago I was invited to a Halloween Party of a Friend of a friend. Well the Host and I hit it off right away and started dating. We were together for almost a year then BOOM we broke Up. I guess we werent ready for each other. fast Forward 12 years. I was on face book and i got a message from Guess who? HER. We chated by email at first and texted then came the phone calls. We Are back and so in love with each other it hurts.  She is the one who got me hooked on LOA. The is No Doudt in my Mind that the universe git us back to gether and we were meant to be and that we are going to get married. I LOVE HER THAT MUCH

You both grew, changed into better people, probably had a few relationships in between, and then both got in contact, and found the love again (that was always there...) This is great news - I so hope the same comes to me and my ex comes back - I am absolutely convinced it is the right thing - I have learnt so much and applying LOA to my life for a few months, but needed this good news story to help me 'believe' - I dont want to be with anyone else - so fingers crossed - I will let you know.

I agree what a magical thing to hear!  Such a great success story, congrats on being told that with such confidence!

As it turns out I just had a bit of a victory too.  After thinking that she was just going to let it pass by(she told me she had to work that day), my girlfriend just asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, so it looks like we have plans for my birthday after all

Edit:  Just got a response from her, and my fears were dumb.  She actually asked off for my birthday so I get to spend the day with her!  Stay positive people!

Have faith - your stories give me that - hopefully my time will come - at the moment I feel everyone elses time is here - including my ex husband who is so loved up with his girlfriend - the one he cheated on me with for so long - my time for happiness with the one I love must be soon!!!!

Don't you think she deserves better? Someone who would treat her with kindness and respect.
While I think it is pointless to be consumed with hate, it is important important to know what is and what isn't good for you.
This is not the measure of her ultimate success. Her measure of ultimate success would be for her to steadfastly convince herself that she deserves a good man who would give her all the happiness in the world. ... and nothing less.

She deseves that which she wants. And I actually commend her for giving herself a chance with that same man. It would prove that love truly can overcome anything.

Respect is what makes love beautiful.

Whether she reconciles with her ex or meets someone else is not what is important. It is important that the man treats her with respect and loves her. From what I read, AT THE MOMENT he is NOT that kind of person.

She should focus on developing self-respect for herself and being very clear about the qualities she wants in her man. That is love. Looking for validation is not.
