I attracted my dream lover last year but this was before I knew about the law of attraction.  I remember I set an intention to find a bf within the year, and I went to this lover's rock in my city that is famous for praying for love.  The person there told me that my dream partner will come after 3 months.  I started going out more, meeting new people, and just generally enjoyed my life.  I started meeting guys and went on casual dates with them.  And when I totally forgot about "the three months" time frame, my dream partner asked me out for a date totally out of the blue.  He was a colleague back then and I totally did not expect him asking me out.  I never thought about any possibilities with him at all and he's just everything that I want (although we broke up after but I am manifesting him back right now).  So I guess all you have to do is set an intention and then just enjoy your life and detach from the outcome, your dream lover will come!

Hello hope your having a good day :) . Last May I wrote Dow   What I wanted in a partner eg. Physical qualities and mental qualities.  I wanted a lover that was eastern European, now I live in a small town and there isn't a lot of foreign people but I didn't let that phase me . I visualised meeting him and how we would be together . Watched videos on Poland , Russia and serbia and even learnt the accent LOL.
So then one day I was browsing through my facebook and saw his picture and felt so much excitement and happiness , so I messages him and when we met each other he was exactly the image and what I wrote on my list I couldn't believe it ! He is also Lithuanian which is in between Poland and Russia. And he also lived in my town !

I don't get it why don't we all just try to forget about I dream partners as soon as we set an intentions for them.

O yes, dream lover.

After first unsuccesfull relationship i had hard time socialising with men, so one day i sat down with a good book as visualized a man i wanted to create a family with. So few moths later i met a guy. he was nice and polite man, different than others. i didnt know that THIS man will be my future partner at first site i didnt even like him ( he was blond russian.. i hate blonde guys and i hate russian language) but one night after all group of friends and him were taking me home... you know that impulse that we have wait for? to know that this is it, "catch your manifestation"? i felt that impulse. it was so strong i didnt even know what i was doing. i kissed that charming russian before saying goodbye. :P god i was embarrassed. but know we are together for 3 year, we are planning our life together and even mentioning wedding :) im so happy :)

Everyone has there own method of manifesting their desire.  For some it works better to forgot (passive manifesting)while others feel better manifesting without forgetting(active manifesting).  It is our own personal recipe that fits us uniquely on what works best  for us to.

Sorry, I'd rather use the one that apparently has been working for most people. I don't have the kind of patience for that.

If forgetting works better for u then that is great ;D.  I personally cannot manifest anything if I try to forgot.  I work up better energy when I think of my desire..

i set my intentions and soulmate- list as well.

but, i experienced that it works better for me, if i still keep that wish in my heart, knowing that i will meet him but really not looking for the time or getting impatient.
that worked for me so well, i just attracted a car this way, which has been on my visionboard for 5 months now. i detached though, i just knew that i would have it soon.
and--- its exactly the same. colour, details and so on.

so, i am attracting my soulmate this way too.  ;)

it's true everyone has their own way of going about it... what ever makes you feel happy is th best way for you.

I like to "set it and forget it" too.. then I don't get all emotionally hung up on what I am desiring. I have manifested so many wonderful things by NOT thinking about them... the things I think about all the time- I do not manifest.

Yondaime if you are feeling impatient you may block your manifestations, better to release any feelings of impatience first, no matter what other tools you use. :)

your desires manifest, wen u r ready to get to receive them...........the sooner the faster ur desire manifest..........u need to understand and consider as a way of learning, to manifest ur desires...........u don't graduate in the 1st year itself.........u learn various lessons in ur 3 years of college n then wen u r ready to take on dreams, u becum a graduate..........thats how it is right now.. :) :)

My dream lover is on his way still, while I am still working in me :) There were a lot of things to work in me, Grace is still a work in progress after many failed relationships and friendships :) But am so sure that it will not take too long to be with him :) I also wrote the qualities in a man that will surely make me happy...we are still both preparing ourselves for the kind of relationship we both deserve :)

Every now & then he will look like him...but some other times he will look nothing like himself, and even more bizarre is that most of the time he looks like a previous ex of mine, but yet it still really is him!! That drives me mad bc I do not know why his face appears as this other ex that I do not care about in that way. I always always know it is my guy though. I just wish he would look like him lol!!!!

  • LifeIsGoodToday: That wasn't the reason for my break though, there was a particular troll, HQ, that come coming back and just really giving the whole forum grief and negativity. It started to affect me. So I moved away for awhile. And honestly, I got so into work and her. I still lurked some, not often. But I think I should have b/c supporting others in a great way to grow in using LoA positively in your life!

  • Calm: Life - sometimes it's good to take a break.  Spending too much time here in a certain state of mind, can make one dwell too much on what one doesn't have, to my mind.  Breaks are good!
