Its really amazing, how thoughts convert into reality and how fast they do sometimes...yesterday I had a thought of something and today it manifested...(it was a broken shoe heel though

)
Don't know why only its delayed (much delayed) in case of attracting back a relationship...why can't this desire also manifest in a short span of time...is there any advice/points on this..please share

Here's a great analogy of why that may be. This really helps me a lot in being patient:

You see, often our Higher Self "arranges" time in such a way that we do not get what we want when we initially want it, only because it wants us to first accumulate certain experiences, certain skills, certain appreciations, certain connections with other people, certain awarenesses - FIRST! So that when we do get to experience this thing we want, we will then be appreciating it and enjoying it on a much deeper and more profound level.

So when you want to do something and it is not immediately available, REMEMBER: Your Higher Self is merely delaying this experience, so you get some other experiences first, so that you may enjoy and appreciate this thing you want EVEN MORE, when you do get it.

I also heard that the Higher Mind has a different outlook on the situation. So lets say you want to take road A, the HM will say well its really faster if you take road C then road B half way there. To you it might seem stupid, but you dont see the great picture. I have found in my life LOA works , but when and how is really out of my control. Some things take days other weeks, just follow the road and you will get there.

Thank you queen of light and Stafzilla, but then many a times we lose our patience, specially when you are in a marriage...and want to manifest a loving, emotional bond with your partner..but he/she seems to be so cold towards you...this suffocates as you can not move out to get detached since he/she is in front of you always and detachment is the key in LOA...negative thoughts arise that for what kind of person I am putting so much of efforts...who don't even care about me.
I hope. your inputs will put some light on this feeling and how to remove it.

Have you read Katie's story - she was in a very similar situation as she lived with Patrick the entire time they were estranged. I think people confuse detachment with meaning you have to have no contact with them. You can certainly detach easier if you don't see the person (sometimes) but I don't think it's absolutely necessary. And really, as long as you think that it's not possible if you live with them, then it won't be. Your mind is stronger than you think it is. You are focusing on the negatives - they seem so cold, they don't care. So you're going to continue to attract that. You have the power to turn the situation around - you just need to make up your mind to do so and not pay any attention to the reality right now.

hi irishgirl69...although i know that whatever i have on my mind, i will attract more of it...still sometimes i get so upset...but then i know i have frens like you here who will hold me up again on my path...in my case there is slight difficulty (i hope you have read my situation in post "for the one i love")..can you please share Katie's post link, if you have.

its still a long way to go i feel and i have to watch out not getting frustrated that quick again. so its not that easy for me now not to get in the same "thing" again.

we have been on and off since 1 year and i need to trust that this time its for real.

so, dont get frustrated or something, its easier to attract someone back who has been a part of your recent life with many offs and ons. well- i think so.

so all things have to be rethought to finally realize that this person came only into your life to let me see that i am worth a better treatment. reliable.
he did hide again and run away. the same thing all over again and this time it only happened after just a few days. i dont believe that things are going to change.
my life experiences since my birth was always to be left alone, by my mother- i dont know her, by my father who told me stories and left me on my own, by partner who promised me heaven on earth and disappeared.
i could never understand why things like that hit ME.... why me?
now i got it and its time for a big change. i am ready and i do realize it after one year in pain and hurting.

i am not sad though at all- but it was a reminder of what i am worth!
and thankful to got to see that things are not changing and i deserve a good treatment.
