Hi :) New to forum but consciously using LOA for 12 years

I've been reading this forum for a while now and thought I should come out (or come in) and introduce myself!


I've manifested so many things/situations it's incredible. I'm also coming to understand how not only do I attract wonderful things, I also attract not so wonderful things. The more I understand how the LOA works the faster things are manifesting.

A year ago I caught my husband of 10 years having an affair. It was devastating at the time. But if I'm completely honest with myself I know we weren't happy together. I wanted to leave the marriage before he had the affair but I didn't want to hurt him. But I remember thinking to myself that if he ever had an affair, that would be the deal breaker. That would be my "out".  Did I manifest this to happen? I don't know but I do know I'm happier than I've been in years since he left even though it's been a struggle at times.

Anyway .. when he left he took half the furniture and I was left with an empty living room. I had an air mattress to sit on. So I prayed (Buddhist) for a sage green sofa that was new or almost new in 21 days. A friend made a beautiful green and red cushion for me and I placed that on the floor in the space where I wanted my sofa. Everyday, as I passed by that space I'd visualise a beautiful sage green sofa and say "Oh I love my green sofa, it looks so good there".

Family and friends kept offering me their old sofa's throughout these 21 days but their sofa's were blue or brown. I would say to them "thank you but no. I'm getting a green sofa".

On the 21st day I woke up and thought oh well it didn't manifest but that's ok, it WILL come. Oh ye of little faith 

On the afternoon of the 21st day a van pulled into my driveway .. with a beautiful sage green sofa!

Last week, for fun, I wrote down "In 7 days I have manifested 1. Chocolate 2. A back rub 3. $20 unexpected money in my hand or bank account. I only told a couple of people. I placed this note in my special Creation Box then let it go. I felt happy all day the day I wrote it but I understand the importance of letting go and trusting The Universe will deliver.

1 day later my daughter came over to visit and had brought chocolate.
3 days later, I won $21.90
and as for the back rub? Every day last week someone had either placed their hand on my back or patted my back!

The Universe manifests the essence of your desire so I'm counting these as my back rub.

I KNOW with all my heart that we create our world. It's how The Universe expands. I'm working on the bigger things and I know they are there waiting for me to get out of my own way.

I love reading everyone's stories here and I hope I'm able to inspire others to never give up.

hey spirit girl, welcome to the forum and give u a Big Thank You for sharing ur stories with us, and yes i have manifested to certain things, most of the time they become a reality and i constantly work on myself (which is a never ending process  ), and ur story they inspire many of us who are also working on their manifestations......

I used to have a vision board and many things manifested but I felt it was a little stale after awhile and I needed something new. Hence my Creation Box. On the top I wrote "Thank you for all these wonderful things".

You don't need a printer to start your vision board 

When I wanted to manifest a trip to Europe I walked into a few travel agent centre's and acted as if I had the money to go right then. I had so much fun picking up brochure's and talking about my trip. I took the brochures home and cut out the pictures of the places I wanted to visit and pinned them to my vision board. Within 12 months I had received an inheritance which gave me more than enough to go on my dream holiday. I visited every place on my vision board except Monet's Garden in France, only because we changed our mind and saw other places once we got to Paris.

I also write down on a piece of paper what I want.

Could you write down on a piece of paper "I have a fabulous printer" and stick that on your board?


PS My printer broke a month ago and I have cut out a picture of the printer I'd like and placed that in my Creation Box

Actually its funny people talk about vision boards and manifestations. If you ever listen to those motivational life coaches , mostly the ones talking about career and money. They all recommend that the person writes out what they are looking for and put the list somewhere they can see it every single day. Almost like a wish list of all the success you want in your life, and based on that you put your time and effort toward it. So the principal works the same, and obviously is something used even in non LoA circles.
