A 'Diverted' Success (SHOCK UPDATE!)

So I did end up losing my job. But I believe thats only the beginning, I feel like the wheels are in motion to help me reach my dream career 

My ex, its been 8months now. I have well and truly detached. I'm just happy, he's hardly ever in my thoughts, there's no hate for him, and no urges to be with him AT ALL. I made a big decision to just break contact with him in the New Year. I couldn't heal with him around, I had to do this for me and put myself first. He text last week but I left it and I've not heard from him since. If he comes back, we'll see, it will require some thinking, if he doesn't- I really hope he finds happiness.

The job I got fired from, I met a guy. Hes a different race & religion to me. He's a bit of a player and I know hes been around. There isn't a future in it for a million and one reasons but he makes me happy- here and now. He's actually really similar to me and knows all about LOA! He's been honest telling me he's not looking for a relationship but (I know) he has a lot on his plate right now. He was worried after I lost my job that we would drift... its weird whats happening between us but if I'm honest, I actually would like to give a relationship with him a go. I deserve it 

I have just forced myself to feel happy no matter what. Happiness is a form of gratitude in itself. I really made it my hearts desire to put me first this year and suddenly, letting go of my ex became the easiest thing in the world. Its important you really do keep busy AND learn to love yourself again. In relationships, you lose yourself and it takes a while for the clouds to clear, but when they do then you'll look at life with so much clarity.

If anyone would like any help on detachment please ask, I'll explain it as best I can.

The LOA IS working in a way that I cant really understand at the moment but I'm not questioning what the Universe has in store! Its protected and guided me to this very point where I am happy, content and racing to my dreams!

You have such a great attitude Tulip! Obviously you were at that job for a reason (to meet that guy!) even if it is just a here & now thing. Sometimes those are the most fun!  At least you were prepared for the outcome of your job, but no doubt in my mind that you will be posting on here soon how happy you are in your next job.

Detachment for me was the most difficult. I could move on but I couldn't let go. When I thought I was letting go I really wasn't. What worked for me was cosmic telepathy. I used to use it a few months back so my ex could feel my presence, but after a few weeks I used it for my own benefit and by requesting strength, protection & guidance for myself- I became heavily guided and often reminded of what I'm REALLY feeling in my subconscious. So I took all my energy away from him and focused on ME.

It was a scary thing to do. When you drift from your ex you start to worry the Universe will forget you're request. That's where FAITH comes in. The Universe never forgets. If you put out a request it WILL be received.

Then you're free to continue with your life with ease and that in itself will help. You have to make a conscious effort to block your ex from your mind, learn to love and accept yourself. Affirm 'I am Love' 'I am forgiveness' 'I am happiness' 'I am detachment'

If you ask the Universe to help you let go, it wont happen. If you allow the Universe to FEEL that you ARE detachment, you just let go and you wont even notice it.

MY EX JUST CALLED! I've blanked his text on 3 occasions since the beginning of the year. I just received a text saying 'are you ok to talk by any chance' I called and we just caught up for about an hour. That was all. He was warm and cheerful; telling me about his past few months, asking about mine.
I'm ok with it- just annoyed that I broke my 'no contact'
What is he doing here? Does anyone know? I'll brush it off as a friendly phonecall because I'm on such a positive path- I dont want to fall off course!

Tulip,  I don't think anyone can answer your question about what he is doing. We can't know that for sure, however I don't think you need to ask these quetions and I don't think you should be annoyed at breaking your no contact rule. He contacted you. Don't worry about falling off course of your positive path, just keep doing what you are doing and don't worry about it. Things are looking up for you with or without him so don't worry about it and let it happen.
