Sorry! I believe I'm posting this in the wrong category. But since I couldn't find any other category for this topic to fit in,and also the fact that I'm a new member,I'm posting it here. First of all,I DO believe that LOA works,as it has on certain individuals on this forum,so I don't mean to discourage anybody. I'm just here to share a personal experience that didn't come out with much success.

Please bear with my long story here for a moment. Please. :)

I'm a 20 years old guy who's been dealing with hair loss for 3-4 years. I did extensive search on the net on this immensely frustrating issue and developed a hair care routine to get my hair back which included applying hair gaining liquids like Minioxidil and other natural products beneficial to hair. I started out on this routine a couple of years back and right from day one I remember starting to feel very confident on my routine. I firmly believed that it would give me my hair back, and I was so adamant on my belief that I ceased staying back from social events/going out often(yeah when you're a prematurely balding teen you start to ghost yourself from the society out of shame :(). I could see myself with fuller head of hair every moment and I was very happy with the routine I was following. So you could say I unknowingly applied LOA to gain hair(I didn't know anything about LOA back then) and continued like this for months. But after those happy months,I realized my hair is still the same and it's still falling out without much change which continues still today. :( What happened? Why didn't it work? Why didn't my imagination come into being like the people here who successfully changed their body(losing weight, gaining height etc) with their imagination and the power of LOA?

I really want to believe in LOA but this past case of mine is a mental hindrance to that journey. Please, can someone explain this to help me out,so I can be a fellow traveler with you guys and be yet another success story proving this awesome law?

I know exactly how you feel! I've been suffering with health problems for about four years now, and I've tried being positive and seeing myself as "healthy" and "pain free" but I still am exactly the same.

I don't know what it is, but I hope someone can help us!

Hi Emily! Indeed. I want to know if the majority of people get benefit from this program or only a lucky few. I'm definitely not a veteran practitioner, but what I did back there I strongly believe was along the lines of practising LOA. The fact that I got nothing out of it was very frustrating, and without a little guidance I doubt I can have my full faith on the program again. I just hope someone here can help us!

I am not sure how much help I can be, but here goes.

I struggle with health problems myself. My main symptom is fatigue. The thing I have noticed is that whenever I am not thinking about it, or I kind of "give up" or "let it go" I start to feel really good.  Then I start thinking.....I must be doing something right, so I start to add things to my regimine to make sure that I start feeling better, but then I actually start to feel worse. I have been learning to basically just let it go. It is one of the major things we must do when applying LOA. We must act as if we already have what we want. When you have all these routines that you do, you are sending out a vibration that says you lack what it is that you want.

I'm not saying it's easy. Like I said, I struggle with this myself. I just know that whenever I have manifested things in my life, it has been when I wasn't even trying. I know it's hard to think that you don't have to do anything, but I was always lead to do what I needed to do without even knowing it.

I hope I helped some.

  • excel: Loa at its finest. Last night I was going to the cinema and I had bought tickets earlier. So i was like "I hope i wont FORGET them" "I hope I won't FORGET them" I was telling the others, remind me not to FORGET them. And you know what, we went and I FORGOT them :D so we had to go back. If only rephrased it to, "Remind me to HAVE them in ME"

  • Laughoutloudx3: I thank when I agree or "like". I think that's what everyone does here. Who doesn't thank anyone? I see everyone with given & received thank yous, & with all of us new members the karma matches up with the thank you each of us have received. It's only the old members who don't match up!

  • BrandyGrandy: AND what the "thank you's" are about and why so many don't "thank" anyone. Like I said, I "thank" when I agree, sorta like the *like* button on fb, but I don't think it works that way here.  :/

  • Laughoutloudx3: ML, you say that this guy has been searching for you for months. So he likes you, and you turned him down. According to loa, shouldn't he be able to have you if he still wants you eventually? :P uh oh!

  • Laughoutloudx3: OMG Brandy, I was going to ask that earlier!!!!! I assumed that karma was the same as the amount of thank yous you have received, but a few people especially older members have karma and thank you numbers that are different from each other. I was confused on that, and so funny u asked when I was going to!!
  • BrandyGrandy: Can somebody tell me what the "karma" stat is? It looks like it goes up with "thank you's" received. But yet there are some on here who NEVER give "thank you's". What's THAT about? I give a thank you for a comment that I agree with or "like". Isn't that what you are supposed to do?

Second one this week & ahhh I feel it every time and I wake up with such a huge smile on my face!!!! :-* I also dreamed that he put a sad status up on fb about missing me...I went onto Facebook & he did have a sad status, but I don't know what about. A lot have been sad. Is it mean that a small part of me wishes that he is sad missing me? :\
