To have your life turn around in such a short amount of time proves that the creator of the universe has impeccable timing.

To all those reading Katie's success story, Trust the universe and trust your higher self. She did, and instead of giving in to those thoughts that made her want to end everything, she fought back and she received her blessing for letting everything go to the universe to be repaired. the universe DID repair everything;Good as new, and MUCH better than it was before. Let Katie's life be an inspiration. KNOW that there is a better life and light at the end of all that seems dark and desperate. let it go to the universe. It has the POWER to give you the best life possible, and it will give you the power to be happy and have ABUNDANCE!

Thank you Katie. I agree that you can achieve a state of coming in touch with your higher consciousness (or self) without the use of marijuana or alcohol. I don't drink wine to get into that state, I drink it to relax. period; and when I did smoke weed many years ago I didn't even know about LOA, but I do remember that I seemed to get epiphanies (more often when I was high than when I was straight,) and things made better sense. Since I started consciously being aware of LOA however, I am able to attain a natural high without the use of any drug and I get even more revelations from the universe as I am more aware of the underlying meanings of what is really going on. It's amazing what knowing about LOA can do for a person. I was always a deep thinker; searching for answers and not accepting what was imposed on me, resisting the brainwashing techniques used by society. I was considered odd, or just someone who marched to the beat of a different drummer, and I believe that is why I appreciated the use of marijuana. I was often criticized by my parents and siblings for being rebellious and not compliant. I was never violent, I just didn't accept things as they were taught; I wanted to know the whole truth; and I felt there were many pieces of the puzzle that were missing. Since being aware of LOA, a lot of those pieces are coming together.

Anyway, I personally don't think I need marijuana anymore to get in touch with my higher consciousness. I believe that gift is already in us. We just need to reach in and pull it out. I think for some (like myself,) it is stronger and appears without any effort. I mean I could just sit here and be writing and a concept or thought occurs to me from no where. A message from the universe (if you will.) I don't even have to meditate or get into a super relaxed state; it just occurs naturally.

I just want to say to V1ctorious:
I know that pot can make a person feel good, and if you can try and get into that state without the drug; I think you can make better progress and you will be able to get into that state whenever you want without having to wait for the opportune time to light up a joint. I don't think its disgusting at all; but I think that you can certainly feel good without it (like I learned to do.) I never realized how much better a natural high feels than a high induced by doing drugs. I wish I had known that a long time ago, because I think that the use of weed definitely  held me back and even though my judgement was not clouded, it may have prevented me from doing some pretty amazing things.

Sorry for the long post. I think we can all achieve whatever we desire if we can learn to connect and communicate better with the universe.

Actually we need to use what we know about the laws of attraction to prevent members of the secret society and illuminati from controlling us. Are you saying that we would also need to remove ourselves from here if we drink alcohol?  I don't think we have a right to tell others that they should not participate in this forum if they pose a question about smoking weed. I don't smoke weed (haven't in a long time,) but I do drink wine and even if I had NEVER smoked pot, I think it is ridiculous to tell a person they should remove themselves from here if they are considering smoking pot; He never said he did that; he was just asking if it would help. But even if he admitted to doing it, I wasn't aware of any rule that says users of marijuana can't be members and post threads on here. I can see where it would be a problem if they were harassing other members and posting nasty things on here, but I don't see that as being the case here. What V!ctorious does is V1ctorious' business and as long as he is asking our advice I don't think we should answer by passing judgement. He had a legitimate question and I think that telling him pot and alcohol would lower his vibration was enough of an answer. Telling him he would be reported for being "under the influence" was not necessary AT ALL.

Now I need to relax because I am a little agitated right now; think I will go and pour myself a BIG glass of wine. Oh and BTW, I used to smoke weed several years ago, but I quit because I felt it had run its course. It never clouded my judgement and as a matter of fact I felt more in tune with the universe when I smoked it.  I felt like I was more sensitive to what my higher self was trying to reveal to me, and my thoughts were deeper and much more profound. I'm not saying that everyone has that experience but I definitely did.

The point here is that we want members of this forum to be able to freely express themselves without being worried that the "forum police will attack and charge them as being guilty of a crime. What we DON'T need are members who feel like they are the authority on the definition of moral behavior. Enough said.........

Weren't you guys planning to live in Greece though? Maybe you should also be trying attract his being able to become a Greek citizen as well.

Anyway, I see this as a very positive sign that he can't wait to spend the rest of his life with you. August 32nd will be here before you know it (ha ha inside joke.) August 23rd actually comes before August 32nd, so you may want to think about leaving for the US on the 23rd instead. LOL

You know that when you are under the influence and come down off the drug, then your state of mind will change; so like Katie says, its better to get your vibration up without the use of any recreational drugs.  I wouldn't do it for the intent of raising my vibration. you need to raise your vibration in your natural state of mind, not with the illusion that is caused by smoking weed.

Like Katie stated, your state of detachment should come within yourself; not from what a mind altering drug can temporarily give you. I think its okay to smoke it once you can be detached from within yourself.

Just remember to STAY detached. Don't get so elated that you are expecting things to progress quickly because getting attached again is negative and could result in your being disappointed thereby bringing you back down again. Just go about your life being happy on your own without depending on what he says or does to make you happy (or not.) Look at his attention to you as an added bonus (something you could live without, but something that would bring a little more sunshine to your day.) and be grateful for it.

Take things slow and enjoy the process and journey that the universe is guiding you through.

You must stay detached from the outcome. Sometimes when we attract someone back, we fall into becoming attached again thus putting negative energy into wanting something more, and wanting it NOW! Once you let go again and stay detached from the outcome (even when things are going well,) he will sense the detachment, thereby becoming attracted to you, and staying attracted to you. Don't despair, just detach yourself and stay detached and he will want to resume and keep contact. Remember that wanting something will keep you always wanting it, meaning that you won't get what you want because it will keep you stuck in the stage of still wanting it. Does that make sense?

I'm not talking about being detached in a negative sense, but I'm talking about staying detached from depending on him to make and keep you happy. Everything will be fine. Know and believe it!!

Katie I agree with Tereza. The doctor was just basing his idea on what happened in the past. My mother often tells me that Ken will walk out of my life again like he did last summer. In her opinion Ken doesn't want to marry me because he wants the freedom to leave anytime he grows bored of his life with me. My mother is basing her prediction on his actions of the past. I can't change mothers (like you can doctors,) but I can choose not to believe that what she says is true. I've wondered the same thing myself. Will he leave again if the going gets tough? Actually I no longer care of he leaves. I was in constant fear that he would leave last summer and he did leave me. I am not concerned over whether he will leave (or not) because I really don't need him and I would be fine and happy without him. Seriously! That doesn't mean I don't love him, but loving him unconditionally would be wanting him to be happy with whatever he chooses to do in his life. He knows this and I think that is what is attracting him into wanting to stay with me.

 What a contrast from last summer! It's amazing how knowing the laws of attraction changed me for the better. I am so grateful!

And make certain Tereza that you are completely detached from the outcome before you initiate contact. Who knows? You may not have to be the one to initiate things. I think he will; once you have been completely detached for a little while. I don't know; just a thought that occurred to me, but I think they sense our detachment and if they haven't heard from us in a while they may be afraid we will move on and forget about them; Maybe  subconsciously they are the ones who can't let go so they have to keep contact somehow. If they can sense that we are still attached they don't have to worry that we will go away and forget about them so they keep us on a string. Maybe we should cut the string? Perhaps that may be one of the reasons why letting go may be so effective. Just my perception and I may be off base here.....

I truly admire your strength and wisdom. Know that you did help him just by being there for him. Your positive energy and love helped him to overcome his worse fear and I am sure he left this physical plane and entered a new dimension with strength, courage and a peace he had never realized before.

 He is at peace now; no more pain, no more suffering, and he is in all that surrounds you. May you and your family be blessed with his memory and may you feel his presence; guiding you and loving you.
