I do agree we must learn from our experiences - if we don't it will just be a waste of time and nobody wants that - yet it is important to understand why it ended in the first place. From there one can decide if they should or should not try to rekindle.

Many times we are attracted to people for the most various reasons but we can only determine if they are the "one" or not when we actually get to know them. Everybody poops.

I would like to explain myself better. A few years ago I had a huge crush on this somewhat famous musician. I actually thought we could get married and whatnot, now I am no teeny bopper so it was a big deal at the time for a grown-up like me. Turned out he was not the guy I thought he was, I ended up disappointed with his attitude towards his fans. This is why although I do encourage/support people to follow their dreams, even if it seems like a distant star, I think we should do some homework beforehand and actually get to know the person we desire - famous or not.

Now, on a good note, there are some famous guys out there that are actually cool and I'd just love to meet them, only I don't have the patience to wait for the Universe's will - I am not that LOA developed  .

I have a friend who went to visit LA (Los Angeles in the USA for those who are not familiar) and actually ended hooking up with the man of her dreams, a musician she has had a crush on for wait for it...17 YEARS!!!

Also, I know a woman who was a huge fan of this not so famous actor - yet really hot man - for ages! She now has his private phone number and they actually get to talk once in a while. They never dated because she is married and he has a long term girlfriend but still good.

So there, if your intention is good and respectful, go for it! Just prepare for the outcome...

oh dear, i so feel you...

but let me tell you two things:

- just because one seems to be happy does not mean they really are. people love to show who they aren't on fb. besides it is a new relationship, everything is new and 'perfect'...for now. remember you must have gone thru that phase yourself... 

- in the past i had a great love, the man i thought i would spend the rest of my sorry life with. guess what, he cheated and broke up with me - long story - took me forever but i DID get over him for good tho. case in point: i did not know how to apply LOA  properly at the time but you do so...go for it, man!  you are in great company at this forum!:P
(funny fact: i found out later his new gf was a total control freak, even worse than me, how do i know? SHE wanted to befriend me long after i had forgot about him  )

things change all the time, the good AND the bad...keep that in mind, i try to keep it myself
