How to Use Law of Attraction / How to Set Up a Thinking Hour

Write. Get a pad of paper and a pencil and just write out your thoughts. Writing helps both with directing your thoughts and recording them on paper. Sometimes the simplest solution works the best.

Type. If you can type faster than you can write, typing out your thoughts in a word processor might work better. This gives you an added speed factor without wasting any trees.

Talk. Turn on the recording device for your computer and just start talking. Talking to yourself turns up the volume on your thoughts and helps you stay focused on one direction of thought.

Objectives. Before you start a thinking session, mark out what you want to think about. By setting objectives and goals for your thinking hour, you avoid the otherwise unavoidable boredom and confusion by trying to think about everything.

Walk. Navigating a busy street might not be the best time to get stuck inside your head. But if you can find an isolated path, a walk can give you a mix of scenery. Just remember to bring a pad of paper and pencil to write down any ideas that strike you along the way.

Mindstorm. Write down the numbers 1 to 20 on a piece of paper and don’t stop until you’ve filled the entire list with ideas. You can use this along with other methods during your thought hour.

Meditate. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax. Meditation can also be a great way to spend your thought hour, although it suffers from being unable to bring in a recording device.

Explore the Problem. If you jump too quickly to a solution, you might get attached to it before realizing there are better alternatives. If your thinking session involves tackling a problem, explore it fully before deciding how to solve it.

Park It. One suggestion offered by Brian Tracy for how you might incorporate a thinking hour is to park your vehicle somewhere quiet after work, turn off the lights and think. This can be a better solution if you have a noisy home or office.

Be Practical. Your thinking hour can be wasted if you create ideas you never use. A big part of thinking ideas is breaking them into easy steps. If you don’t instantly know what’s next, you aren’t finished.

1. What did I fail?

Hopefully something. In my opinion, failure is the price of ambition. If you are not failing regularly, there is a good chance that you are not growing.

2. What am I resisting?

Often in life there are things to be done that are important, but because they are not urgent or enjoyable we resist doing them. Try to identify what you are resisting, then tackle it early in the coming week.

3. What did I do well?

It’s so important to celebrate, or at the very least recognize, our successes. A mental pat on the back feels great, and is likely to help you do well again in the coming week.

4. What can I do better?

If something didn’t work out for you this week , don’t dwell on it too much. Instead, turn in into a positive by focusing on what you can learn from the experience and how you can do better.

5. Did I live in alignment with my values and principles?

Another way to ask this question is: were you the person you want to be during the past week? If you are unclear on what exactly your values and principles are, I strongly suggest taking the time to write a personal mission statement. I am one of those people who typically skip the exercises in self-help books, but this was one I actually did and it has been life changing.

6. Did I get closer to achieving my short, medium, and long-term goals?

Often time goes so quick that you wonder where the week went. Still, it’s good to feel as if you have at least made progress towards achieving your goals. Remember, small steps can lead to big outcomes in the medium to long term.

7. What am I grateful for?

Often as human beings we get so caught up in wanting more that we forget what we have. Don’t take your friends, family, and health for granted – these are some of the most important things in life and cannot be replaced with money.

When we come to see that thought is a force a manifestation of energy having a magnet like power to attract our desires. We will begin to understand why our lifes are they way they are. I believe that there is no study that will repay the student as the study and working of the LOA. When we think we send out vibrations which are real as light heat and electricity.

How to Use Law of Attraction / Concentration

We all know that in order to accomplish a certain thing we must concentrate. Do not become discourage, if you are unable to hold your thought on the subject very long at first. Success is assured when you are able to concentrate for you are then able to utilize for your good all constructive thoughts and shut out all the destructive ones. It is of the greatest value to be able to think only that which will be beneficial.  I find this to be a really LOA practice in my daily life.

In deep concentration you become linked with the great creative spirit of the universe, and the creative energy then flows through you, vitalizing your creations into form.

Exercise 1

Here are some exercises I have used myself.  They are simple and very powerful and you will notice an improvement from the very start, and this will give you encouragement.  The whole point of these practical exercises is to elect some thought, and see how long you can hold your mind on it. It is well to have a clock at first and keep track of the time.  For instance if you decide to think about health, you can get a great deal of good from your thinking besides developing concentration. Think of health as being the greatest blessing there is, in the world. Don’t let any other thought drift in. 
Here is a short list of positive affirmations to concentrate on to get you started.

▲I am healthy, whole and complete.
▲The vibrant wellness in my body increases every day.
▲I AM living a long and healthy Life.
▲I am filled with energy to do all the daily activities in my life.

The best time to concentrate is after reading/watching something inspirational.  This is my deep concentration exercise.

Exercise 2

▲Lie down flat on your back without a pillow.
▲See that every muscle is relaxed.
▲Now breath slowly filling up the lungs comfortably with fresh air.
▲Hold this as long as you can without straining your self.
▲Then exahale slowy in an easy, rhythmic way.
Breath this way for 5 minutes letting the divine breath flow through you, which will cleanse and rejuvenate every cell of brain and body. Once you master this exercise then follow up on adding 3-4 word affirmations in your sessions. Keep it simple that what your mind likes.

Exercise 3

Sit in a comfortable chair and see how still you can keep.  This is not as easy as it seems. Watch and see that you are not making any involuntary muscular movements. By practice you will find you are able to sit still for fifteen minutes. At first try to sit in a relaxed position for five minutes then increase time. You will find this relaxing over time. 

When once you have learned concentration then you will master your thoughts, you will be able to change them just as easily as you change your clothes. You will find that this practice will be of wonderful value to you as it is to me and that rapidly you will be learning to accomplish anything you undertake.

The Law of Vibration and Attraction

• Energy that is on the same frequency will resonate and attract.

• Energy that is not on the same frequency will not resonate and will repel.

• Your thoughts are waves of energy that penetrate all time and space.

• Our physical universe is merely a manifestation of our own unseen internal universe.

• Concentration and focus increases the vibration.

• If the brain cells you activate have sad or negative images, you will move into a negative vibration and therefore attract negative into your life. If you have happy and positive images, you will move into a positive vibration and feel and attract the good that you desire

So ask yourself how can I use this in my life right now to manifest my desires?
