Success Stories / Life Soul Matter - the quest for happiness

Hi guys, I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this, so moderators, please feel free to move this, if you think it's appropriate.

I'm posting this here, because i feel like it has been a successful step in the direction where i want to be heading. What's the big deal? haha, no big deal really, but i'm happy that i finally started a blog. Here it is: http://lifesoulmatter.wordpress.com/ I know i know, these days probably half a billion people have their blog. But i'm hoping to achieve a bit more with it.

I'd like it to be a place for inspiration for others, where they come to read something that makes them think a little, fill up on some "feel good fuel", and of course, leave a thought and a comment there if they feel inspired. The reason behind this is that it will help me to focus on positive aspects of life, think more clearly about the issues regarding the Quest for Happiness, which really is the quest that everyone is on.

Last but not least, i always loved writing, and the best way to start and keep writing, is to write a blog, when you know that others are waiting to read it, and add to it, i guess i feel more compelled to take some creative action.

Success Stories / deliberate creations

Here are some things I was able to consciously bring into my experience last week.
Driving home I thought I'd like an unexpected pleasant visitor. 5 mins after I arrived home we get a call, friend wanted to pop in with her kids. I wanted a couple of new pieces of sporting equipment for ice hockey and floorball. I got a top of the range stick from a friend, another one on loan to use as much as I want and other stuff. thought how nice it would be to get an email with the list of speed radars and not having to look it up every day. I got an email with the requested that afternoon. I get parking spots this way in the most improbable places.
Will update more next week, this is just this weeks stuff, and there's more I can't think of any more right now.
I get this by following ester and jerry hicks' book ask and it is given. It's not THAT easy to stay in control but I'm learning it bit by bit with ever increasing success.

Hi all,
i guess i'll use this section to thank you for creating this great forum full of great information and inspiration and affirmation. I think it's important to have a place like this, where one can find a lot of answers, discuss further issues and get encouragement.

I first learnt about LoA about 2 years ago and was consciously using it now and then with varying level of success. Rationally, i have absolutely no doubts about it, i fully accept and believe it's real and the physics behind it make good sense to me, on my semi layman level of knowledge. Just as much as electricity, gravity, and other phenomena around us, that are widely accepted and used.

Looking back at my life and successful achievement of various things in my life (and failings too) only confirm to me that we create all the time, consciously and subconsciously. I have achieved some things that may have seemed rationally improbable to me at the time, but without knowing any better, i went for them and i got them. Only later, i discovered that i made them happen with my unwaivering belief and powerful intentions. Later in my 20s, one may get influenced by the "mainstream" outlook on life and forget the fresh and healthy arrogance and feeling of no fear, and succumb to negativity. Then I discovered the LoA through various sources, not only The Secret, but also things like What the Bleep, and others, which, more or less, describe the same powers, the same phenomena, and it's empowering. I think, i'm slowly learning to use this power better, but i feel i could definitely use some guidance and training and advice.

I look at it like this: when we were little, our parents/teachers and other taught us to make things with our hands or the conventional way. Teaching us how to read what we see with our eyes right in front of us, teaching us how to draw, how to make things out of play dough, how to make things out of wood...how to build spaceships, whatever... it diddnt come straight away, we took time to master each of these skills. That's why i accept that using the law of attraction is a learned skill that's going to take some time to perfect and may not always work out perfectly everytime. I hope, dear friends, that with your help i can learn to use it better and help others and myself to live a better life.
