Thanks for the feedback people!

I definitely believe there are some negative things preventing this from happening. The thing is, I don't really believe that I doubt their ability to talk to me, because I know they have before (i.e. my story with the cards) and am perfectly open to it to the best of my knowledge. The problem is no matter how much I ask and temporarily believe they will talk to me, nothing happens - all I experience is the lack of communication going on in my head. So I have to fight reality, almost, and force it to change.

I'll try meditating for sure and check out the website. Good luck to anyone else reading this who wants to try; if you have success please let me know!

Hello,

I was just wondering whether anyone has used the Law of Attraction (LOA) to speak to their spirit guides or God. If so it would be really great to receive some help...but if not any advice is welcome.

I myself managed to speak to my guide at least once, or some kind of entity anyways. They proved it by reading the first 7 cards in a randomly shuffled deck of cards I keep next to my bed. After they read the cards, they told me the easiest way to use the LOA was to pretend you already have what you desire. Trouble is, I'm having a lot of difficulty doing that. Every time I pretend I can talk to God, its immediately obvious that I'm not talking to God but my brain instead because the first thing I would do is ask for meaningful information and proof, which always fails because I'm just pretending and end up making stuff up. ANd of course, upon reflection that made up stuff is false and I know I wasn't receiving any divine information.

I can pretend having meaningless fluff conversations, but then I know that its not real because I wouldn't be having fluff conversations if I could talk to God. I have asked other professional channelers to speak to my guides on my behalf, but as usual they always need to be payed hundreds of dollars and I can't tell for certain whether what the tell me is true or whether they're just delusional.

Anyways, hopefully someone here can help me. Just on the one question: Can you speak to spirit guides/God or know someone who can? And on the second: How do you effectively pretend something is in your life when it isn't?
