Pantera, I definitely think online dating could work for you especially since you said you are shy. Seriously ALL women get guys messaging them on dating sites and you are 21 and thin so you would get alot of guys interested. If you ever sign up on a site, just make sure to vet all the guys properly especially seeing as you haven't dated anyone and dont have that experience yet. Ignore the creepy ones and only respond to ones you are interested in. I really think you should give it a try. If you dont want to pay, there are free sites as well.

Pantera, You are still so young and I know you have probaby heard that before but you have nothing to worry about especially at your age. I know you probably have felt there is something wrong with you to not have had anybody by now but it is all coming. I have no doubts at all. Like you said, all kinds of people are in relationships and it will happen to you too. You are no different. Whether you are consciously using LOA to attract a guy or not, it will still happen. Have you ever tried online dating?

Forgetting works best for me but thinking about it doesnt delay it as long as Im not attached or obsessed with what im wanting to manifest. Also just want to add about signs, im now a believer that many times they do lead to manifestation. I know Ive said otherwise on this forum but thats because I had many signs that my ex and I would get back together some years ago and now he is married to someone else. However, I dont think the signs were wrong anymore. I think there are many different destinies one can choose and the universe was showing me what couldve happened if I wouldve stayed on that course. Even though it was his choice to be with someone else, I was a mess emotionally and not ready for a serious relationship and not to mention, I was a very negative person and all that combined pushed us further apart since we were on very different wave lengths at the time. Had I been in the mind frame that I am now, we wouldve gotten back together but glad now it never happened. He is so not my type now.
These are the stories that get me down & make me scared :\ you wanted him back for years but you never got him. Are you saying you think that if you would have been positive through out the break up that you would have gotten him back?? do you still think it would have taken you years??
Well being negative was one factor. I think beyond the negativity, the biggest factor was the desperation. I was never able to move on properly. He became my life and even though he loved me, I think that desperation pushed him further away. He even said that I was trying to force things. When you have that desperate energy, it only pushes confident emotionally healthy people further away. I do know for sure if I hadve been in the mind frame that I am now, we wouldve gotten back together at least at that time. We probably wouldve broken up for good by now as I am a way different person and he is not the type of man I would want long term.

When I manifest what I dont want, I no longer see it as frustating but more proof that the law of attraction is real which makes me glad because that means I can also attract what I do want. I find that now I manifest less of what I dont want when I have no reaction to it good or bad. I dont whine about it anymore or focus on it, just move on and think about what I do want.

Think about how you FEEL when you are in a relationship. Think of that giddy feeling where you feel like you are walking on air when you've just met someone special. Think of the feeling when you get a sweet text from that special someone. Or the anticipation when you are getting ready for a date with someone you are crazy about.
Ever wonder why sometimes when you are single it seems really hard to find someone, and then when you finally do get in to a relationship all of the sudden all of this attention comes out of the woodwork? It's because you are emitting a different vibe because you feel good, desired, loved etc...It happens to me every time.
Thats worked for me once. It was the first warm nice day of the year so i was in a good mood and I got on my cell and acted as if my dream guy was on the other end and I sincerely felt it. I got so much attention from guys that day. Normally, however when I put love out of my mind completely or not think of it as something that is a big deal is when I get the most attention (from guys that count anyway, I dont count the kinda guys that hit on everyone all the time). Im thinking its because I cant actively act as if and detach at the same time at least not when it comes to love. When it comes to other things I can do that. Im fully on board now with the having to detach thing because when Im attached, I think I give out a needy energy that blocks it. Ive only ever been able to manifest when im detached.

I understand what you mean about feeling like the Universe is taunting you. Of course I dont believe the Universe is taunting you (and you shouldn't believe it either) but Ive been there when I thought finally this is something all for it to blow up in my face and thought something out there must think this is funny lol but I realized it isnt any force that is doing that, its something in you that maybe not ready for it or doesnt think you deserve it so it falls from beneath you and when I say you I dont mean you specifically. Thats why you shouldnt think about it too hard either way, just go with the flow. This sounds like a romantic story and cant wait to see what happens.

I wont go up to him. Im more attracted to guys who take the lead regardless of shyness or not and if he wont ever approach me, then I would know that he's not the guy for me. That's something I wont compromise on. I have dated the shy guys in the past and initiated things and one thing Ive always realized was the guys ive dated that liked me the most were always the ones that initiated things first and the ones that I thought were just so shy really werent as into me as I thought they were. There's also something to be said for a man that is shy yet goes out of his comfort zone for you. Im pretty traditionally feminine in SOME aspects of relationships so I would need a man to fufill that traditonal masculine role. He may have a girlfriend or even a wife for all I know cause like I said neither of us are early twenties students but a bit older. I may not see him again for months for all I know but hope I do.

So there's this guy that takes classes at the college that I do. He looks around my age and im not in my early twenties so we are both slightly older students. Anyways I use to always see him at the school's library last year and on the train once as well. He use to always check me out but when I would catch him, he'd look away. I knew technically he was handsome and sorta my type but not all the way and last year I was really rigid about sticking exactly to my soulmate list about the specifics and while handsome, he didnt fit it exactly. I ended up seeing a guy that fit exactly what I wrote physically but never saw him again but this guy from my school always popped into my head from time to time and Im not sure why.
Anyways I ended up tearing up the soulmate list and story with it yesterday. I manifested two big things recently and I am grateful for that but the guy thing was taking too long for me and I just said maybe this specific guy doesnt exist and I told the universe this morning I just want a guy who is my type who will really love me. So I go to the school today and see this same guy walk into the library after not seeing him in many months. He looked way hotter than he did this time last year and I thought why did I not think he was my type before?
I get up to go to the bathroom and I said to myself he will look at me on my way back and sure enough when I go back in, he is coming out and we pass eachother but unfortunately he leaves but totally had a poker face this time and didnt check me out like he would last year. I looked especially good today so maybe it was because I was looking at him and he seems a bit shy about people noticing him watching. I dont know him so im not saying he's the one or anything but does anyone else ever get a feeling about certain people, like you should know them and you have no idea why?

In my case I can tell that my dreams are usually a reflection of my subconscious and to be perfectly honest, its usually out of sync with my goals and what I consciously want. My opinion is that my ego and subconscious always tries to protect me and is afraid of new things so it wants to stick to the old even if its bad and it fights my conscious desires. I have had dreams where I am literally running away from bad things of the past but yet I stop and hug a person from my past that was bad and who I know consciously I don't want. Thankfully though I was just able to get two VERY huge things manifested anyway even when my subconscious has fought me on it. Sometimes you just gotta talk over your subconscious and even talk to it and explain why its better for the new things to come.

Even though overall its been a good week since I got the job I wanted as well as put the deposit down on my dream loft but the past two days a couple of shady things happened as well and to me it is a good thing because it showed the power of law of attraction and proved it to me once again. That just shows me to always turn my attention to good things because when you focus on something bad, it leads to something else like that every single time. Law of attraction ALWAYS works.

The number of my new address was the craziest thing to me because even though Ive wanted to live there, I was not aware that 111 was the address until yesterday. Ive litterally been seeing that number repeatedly for almost a year. Meeting my guy is definitely next!

Okay for all you new people, Ive been on this forum since March of 2012. My old name on here was eightieschick. The main things I have wanted manfiested was my dream job, dream loft in the city within walking distance of this dream job, health problems to disappear and for my soulmate (who fits the description that I wrote with the list of qualities) to enter my life. Well half of those things manifested today in the EXACT way that I wanted.
Recently on here I posted about getting a job but not the one I wanted and was wondering if I should stay and how it is taking a risk to quit since I was trying to move and needed the money. Well I took the risk and quit and saw the ad for this job which was more in line with what I wanted to do. Well I applied not making any big deal about it in my mind and they contacted me to come and take a math and comprehension test because only the highest scored people would get interviews. Well I went in and took the test and got a call back a few days later for an interview because I had one of the highest scores. Well it took forever to schedule the interview because the lady went out of town and then took forever to return my call. I thought maybe someone else was hired but she called yesterday and I went in today for the interview and got hired on the spot.
I wont be rich with this job but it is making more money than Ive ever made previously and I have room to grow within the company. It is a big responsiblity and im the only one here with this specific job. The entire firm will depend on me. I do not have experience in this. This is just the type of job ive wanted so I prepared myself for it as much as I could on my own just in case an opportunity came around and it did. This is the second time also I said outloud to the universe that I want to get hired on the spot and I did.
Immediately afterward, I ran outside to hug my friend who was waiting for me and we went to the building with my dream loft to apply since now I will be able to afford it. These lofts are luxury lofts and cost alot of money to rent a month. You have to make at least 2.5 times the rent to be able to qualify and with this new job, I JUST made it. These lofts have a gym inside, free satellite for tv, free high speed internet with high ceilings and alot of space. The loft is walking distance from my new job and get this, the loft has the address of 111 which is the numbers ive been seeing all year. Ive been seeing a combination of the number 11 repeatedly for so long, some of the old people on here know that. Im putting a deposit on it friday and am moving there in one month!!!
Now I still have my health issues and havent met my dream man yet but after this happening, im positive they are coming.
I have been trying to get a job like this for so long with no such luck but around the time I applied for my new job, I wrote on a piece of paper what I want in a dream job and when I wanted to get hired and put it in my pillowcase. I let it go completely. I didnt even name this job specifically and not even sure if I wrote this before or after I applied because when I applied for this job, honestly it wasnt even a big deal to me and I had no idea the location of this job but when they contacted me, I saw it was within walking distance of where I wanted to live in addition to the fact that it fit what I wanted to do. I also ended up taking the test on the exact date that I wrote and underlined Id be hired. So even though it wasnt actually the day I was hired, it was the day things got in motion so I considered that a manifestation of what I wrote. When I took the test and they called me back, I just knew already it was my job so I posted here to look out for the success story and here it is.
I also recorded myself saying specific affirmations about what I want in all areas of my life on a tape recorder and have been playing it. I honestly feel it took as long as it did because I was so attached. Ive done so many different types of things to manifest and I think the pillowcase thing and the tape recorder thing clicked because I let go. I didnt even think about it hard. I dont know how it is for everyone but when I got a carefree feeling about it and just put that in my pillowcase, slept on it and played my affirmations without dwelling on it, it happened just like that.
LAW OF ATTRACTION IS REAL!!!! Ive doubted it at times and some of you im sure remember my doubts but I know the times things dont manifest is because there might be something greater out there that I dont know about at the time, or because im too attached (which causes anxiety and causes it to push it back further).
Thanks to everyone that has given me advice on here this past year. I have read it all and you guys have seriously helped me. Ive been struggling financially for so long. At one point I wanted a copy of a book someone was talking about here but didnt even have a dollar to pay for it and Stef graciously sent the book to me. I dont have to worry about being that broke anymore!!!!

UPDATE: I'm gonna have an amazing success story in the near future in regards to my career. Something happened on the exact date I wrote, underlined and put in my pillow case. Im just waiting until its come to full fruition before I write my success story. I may have an amazing sucesss story in regards to a few more things as well but look out for my career success story really soon.

I remember having a strong gut feeling to stay away from a particular person. That was the only time I remember where I can say for sure it was a gut feeling and not just any of my own thoughts. Long story short, I didnt obey that gut feeling and that person wound up being a flat out monster so if you feel something really strongly and you know it isn't your feelings clouding your judgment, then pay attention to it.
