Hello old and new friends. It has been a while since I have been on here. This is an excellent website which teaches you so much and here is my story and my success.

I came here like many to get my ex back. He was and will always remain my first love. We were engaged to be married, had many relationship flaws but I wanted him back and in finding ways to do that I ended up on this forum. So I retreated for a while, cried my heart out, used eft, hooponopono (okay im sure I spelt that wrong) and started appreciating my life, loving myself, loving the ones who chose to be in my life.

I attracted many small things, gifts, lotto winnings, finding money on the road and then I found a place where I wasnt worried whether I had my ex back or not. Well now, I have found the man of my dreams not with my ex but with his best friend. I have always known how kind and caring this man was but at no time did I think he would end up being everything I ever wanted, asked for and dreamt about as a young girl.

We really are like one. We are very much the same and yet we are complete opposites. As we expand together we share so much joy and connection that others who are in our orbit become happy too. He has become my friend, lover, and so much more that word cannot even express. When we first got together we were both looking for magic. From this one relationship, I finally realised I have everything I ever needed. The universe works in mysterious ways, look into every opportunity you never know where it may lead you. We will be having our 1st year together and the passion for each other is more intense than when we first got together. Happiness is one of the biggest successes one can have.

Has the original guy come back to make amends and be friends because you are now going out with his friend (if so great! be friends easy peasy) or has he come back wanting something more from you?? If so I can see how that is confusing.

I'm don't think he (the x) knows. I feel a lot of confusion coming from him. He was shocked to see me then went around to his friends house to see me and make the peace. He thought I would be hostile and I am just not that person. I speak very candidly with my perfect man because even his flaws are perfect. We talked about his friend and I know who I want to be with. My perfect man isn't perfect but he is perfect for me. We have a connection on all levels and I am grateful to have him in my life.

 :-*Thank you so much. I think the shock of him wanting to see me after being so cruel and mean. It has been 8months since I last saw the x but for my loves sake and mine. I will make the peace. Even if  he wants more its too late. I am so happy, grateful and I love sharing my joy. Thank you guys. You are always here when I need advice.

Update: I met his family, and we shared the news that he had another child with them though a little weird considering that I'm not the mother. They were more concerned with how I felt than my partner and after they saw that I was accepting and in good spirits they were all ecstatic about the new addition in their family. He is still yet to contact his ex which will be the real test but I will definitely keep you all posted. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend mine was great. Blessings

Thanks crazy soul yes I understood what you meant as his heart does belong to me.

edit--- i just saw this, but what i meant--- his girl, the baby will soon realize that this is not a happy realtionship and his heart belongs to someone else..... to you!

He agrees that we are soul mates. He didn't want to tell me that he and his friends thought we were soul mates just encase it made me run away from him. Whats even funnier our friends and family think we are the "awesome couple". He told me he is confused and he doesn't want to lose me or lose what we have yet he also understands that there is some unfinished business. He has said he is confused on what he feels right now all he knows for sure is that he loves me all heart and soul and he is happy and she is being unfair as for so long he would have done anything to be with this woman. He's scared that she may come between us but with my reassurance I hope he understands that she cant unless we let her.

I'm affirming the best, love will always win out.

Everything you said is just what I needed to hear and is exactly what I thought. He does have some unresolved issues and I know their he still loves his ex even though he doesn't want to be with her but when you said

his heart belongs to someone

, which is me its very much true, and he does fear losing me, he told me so.

I do need to make sure he knows that I want to be with him and that I love him and I will love and support him as much as he does me. He was my friend for 3 years before we became lovers. We truly are lovers, friends and so much more. He is very much a man who will support his new baby girl. He has two beautiful daughters from a previous relationship already, so children really aren't an issue and he would really love to be there to support this child also.

So it wasn't so long ago that I posted a sad and hurt post about my ex and now I am happy. Okay so I was attracting the ex and my soul mate. Well I have met a man who could fit that soul mate mould we have so much in common and he is willing to wait for me. I have known for a while as he is my ex's friend but I never knew he felt like this until now. I didn't realize I could feel this way. We are taking it slow for now and enjoying each others company. I may not be detached but right now I am happy and seeing where this is going. I do know though that he is amazing, caring and I know no matter what this will work out for the best. Thank you universe, thank you forum members and thank you my new love interest!!!

chrissy8907, I so know where your coming from. All I've ever been taught is you give and give and give and it will come back to you like karma in different ways the more you give the more receive but time and time again I noticed a trend that the more my family gave the more people came into our lives to take advantage of this giving nature.

I don't ever regret giving to anyone but I think everything needs to be balanced. Give without expecting to receive. Therefore when you give you know it is only from the heart. For balance start to give yourself a little more. So what you would give to others give to yourself. grateful sunshine started this thread.

Instead of doing it for your friends, do it for yourself. List 10 things that you appreciate about yourself. I have to do this myself. I am teaching myself how to love myself and to appreciate who I am to the core. Please let me know how you get on
