Stop paying so much attention to this illusion called reality. Raise above it. You are not what you think you are. Your body, your brain, people and situations around you are just tools that the real you is creating in order to have experiences.
So yes, your brain can encounter millions of thoughts, can feel so many emotions, both good or bad. None of them are defining you or the life you`re living, none of these thoughts and feelings are you, unless you choose them to represent you. Do not dwell on what is not serving you. You have the power to choose what is representative for you. Is the situation you`re finding yourself in right now in the reality representative of you? If yes, keep observing it. If it isn`t, then change the reality inside of you. Don't look outside for confirmation, it will be there.
I have no doubt you are a very good person. But you cannot see a change in the reality, unless you are willing to see this change in your mind first. Then it will happen in the reality, too.
Look at the words you`re writing and think again how Loa isn't working. How the universe is not giving back what you are focusing on? Change your focus, live that relationship in your mind and heart, you don't need reality to confirm the truth of what you`re living in the inside. You do not even need to believe it is true, what you have to do is feel as it is real, no matter what everything and anyone says. Don`t get fooled by the previous effects of your thinking that are presenting yourself as the current reality. Things are not permanent, because thoughts keep changing. But you can make some things permanent, by observing them over and over. 
I know it is challenging, but it is not you vs the universe. It is you vs your brain. Gain control over your brain and you will have control over your life, too.
You do not have to suffer. You are suffering because your focus is on what you don't have. The love you have for this person is keeping you too attached. You are attached because of the fear. Drop the fear.
You are loved, just open your eyes and see it.

I used to have a love/hate thing about signs. I would see so many, but see no manifestations. But the signs always make me smile, so that's always a good thing.  The funniest sign I got was about a month ago. I was randomly flipping channels and just happened to land on some game show. I NEVER watch those things, but had put the remote down to do something on the computer. The host was introducing the 2 contestants (male/female). The first male contestant had his first name, and the second female contestant had his last name!!  I turned and looked at the T.V was was like whaaaa??? Pretty funny... in the cosmic sense.

As I was in that half away, half asleep mode, I was sort of daydreaming about something completely unrelated to my guy or my situation, and out of nowhere came a voice saying, "It is almost completely over." Meaning, between him and his wife (they are trying to work things out. We are NC). I immediately jerked away. The voice was surreal..angelic, powerful, knowing, comforting, all in one. The kind of higher being type voice that you just don't question.

I experienced something like that back in February of this year. I'm in a similar situation (in process of attracting my guy back). At that point we had been NC for about 5 months. 24/7 all I thought was will we be back in contact again? I had started meditating nightly, but like you I experienced this when I woke up while in that in-between asleep/awake mode. Over the course of that month I heard the following voice say: "Wait", "Look Within", and "525" which is an Angel number. After looking up the meaning, it made perfect sense to my situation. It was all said in that order as well. The voice I heard was masculine, but very soothing and clear and like you, I just KNEW it was from some higher source.

I was under the impression that "Wait" mean literally sit there and wait. But I've learned that it also means take inspired action when.... inspired! Since then I had a few things come up that were definite opportunities to take action on. I had made the mistake of emailing things to him out of desperation which got me NOWHERE. But then the inspired action things came (which I can definitely see the difference) and slowly it resulted in him contacting me again or replying to THOSE things in particular. It's still going at a slow pace, but we are now in regular email contact after months and months of me thinking that we were totally done. Things have been progressing better & better as each month passes, so I'm confident things will get even better. But I'm truly truly grateful for what has happened considering where I was a year ago. I really believe it was because of that "voice" I heard. No doubt about it.

I also got really inspired reading this thread! The other day I wrote down the perfect scenario with my guy and included lots of photos that really brought it alive. I read it twice a day and it never fails to raise my vibrations HIGH, and makes me feel like it's really happened!

Spot on post ILoveRainbows! Using the pic of the View Finder as an analogy was perfect!  I've been following Bashar for the last few months and he really resonates with me. I absolutely believe in what he says about parallel realities existing right NOW, and think that's also why the saying "The Universe always says yes" applies. I've been reading so many channeled mesages from the Ascended Masters, Archangels and Galactic Federation of Light particularly about the Age Of Aquaruis/The Golden Age, and they ALL basically say the same thing as this... that your perfect reality DOES exist. Imagination and visualization plays a big part in all of this. They're like a portal into this reality.

People do not "create" their reality.
They "select" it and "allow it in".

As an analogy,
A TV set does not "create" the program it's displaying.  It just "selects" it and "allows it in".
A radio does not "create" the radio program it's playing.  It just "selects" it and "allows it in".

Realizing this, it should make it feel even EASIER to create/select/allow the version of reality you wish to experience,
because

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CREATE THE VERSION OF REALITY YOU WANT!
IT ALREADY EXISTS!
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS "SELECT" IT AND "ALLOW IT IN"!

All possible version of reality already all exist!    (When they say God is Infinite, they're not kidding.)

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CREATE the version of reality you wish to experience.
IT ALREADY EXISTS!   It's happening RIGHT NOW - on some other parallel reality-track.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS "SELECT" IT AND "LET IT IN"!

3 Phases for receiving the "version" of reality you prefer:

1. See it. (mental)

Visualize it. Imagine it. Daydream it. Visualize it clearly. You don’t need to visualize it for a long time. Short time is sufficient, but you need to visualize it clearly. You need to have a solid clear picture. Visualizing it creates the blueprint, so see it in great detail.   See it ==> Become an efficient Mental Antenna to receive this "version" of reality.

2. Feel it. (emotional)

Get excited & passionate about it! How would you feel if you had it now? Feel that now! Plug into your vision with all your emotions & all your senses, as if you had it now! Involve all your senses - imagine smelling it, touching it, tasting it, etc.
Feel it ==> Become an efficient Emotional Antenna to receive this "version" of reality.

3. Be it. (physical)

Physical action. Do it! To ground the experience. Do actions that most closely mimic the actions you "see" yourself doing in your vision. Gather and use whatever props mimic that scenario, and do a "dry run". Doing this "make believe" physical action trains the body consciousness. This makes it "real for you now", so the universe then delivers it to you. NOTE: This physical action does not directly cause this desired reality to manifest. Instead, this physical action creates a more precise vibration in yourself, making you a better antenna to receive it, by you becoming more aligned to the same vibration. The reality you desire already exists. You do not have to create it. You only have to receive it.
Be it ==> Become an efficient Physical Antenna to receive this "version" of reality.

In other words,

    1. See it.  ===> Become a precise mental      antenna to "receive" that version of reality.
    2. Feel it. ===> Become a precise emotional antenna to "receive" that version of reality.
    3. Be it.   ===> Become a precise physical    antenna to "receive" that version of reality.

I think you should move back to your hometown even for just a temporary time. From what you've said it does sound like there will be more positives than negatives in doing that. From reading your posts from the beginning - it does sound like you need a change of scenery and taking action may be exactly what you need to do. Just remember that nothing in permanent, and you create as you go along. So take each step slowly, but know that it's all leading you to bigger and better. You will find inner peace and happiness and will be living in the U.K soon - I believe that 100%! Things will start falling into place.

11:11 also means "wake up call". Most likely in a spiritual way. In 2010 I was seeing 11:11 daily. Then in 2011 I made 2 bad decisions that cost me a long term job and the closest person in my life to cut ties with me. That led to me SERIOUSLY doing some heavy self-realization figuring out how I basically caused these things to happen which led to a complete spiritual awakening. So I can see how it all tied together... and how things are continuing to unfold. But it's a very positive thing!

The Eyes Are The Window To The Soul

“How do I get in touch with my heart?” one of my clients at last weekend’s Life Coaching Crash Course asked me. And as someone who is traveling down that road, too, my answer would normally be “it’s a process of discovery… there is no magic pill.” And yet, I have found a practice that seems to be as close to a pill as you can get: making eye contact.

My high school journalism teacher used to tell me, “your eyes are the window to your soul.” No wonder I have always struggled with making eye contact. Give away free access to my soul? I would rather give a talk to an audience of 1000 than make 15 seconds of eye contact with just one of them. Try staring into someone’s eyes for an uninterrupted 15 seconds and you’ll see what I mean.

And yet… and yet, in those seconds of eye contact, it seems like everything else stands still, and all you can feel is that scary, intense, slightly awkward moment of connection that goes straight to the heart. You know what I am talking about.

So I decided to do an experiment. I was participating at Burning Man with a bunch of my Handel buddies and attended a rhythmic dance meditation workshop. My mission: once I locked into eye contact with someone on the dance floor, I would keep it for a while. No looking away. No glazing over. Just pure connection.

The results? I would have to say that those two hours on the dance floor were some of the most extraordinary of my life. The first person cried. The second person was shy and kept averting their gaze, but then by the end of the song was returning it full-throttle. You could tell they were proud of themselves for staying with it. The third was just so loving, and smiled the whole time. Their gaze was like a ray of sunshine. And on and on.

Please don’t confuse this with flirting… I was doing an experiment in platonic connecting, human to human, not trying to “pick” anyone up (though it would have probably worked for that, as well).

With each one, I felt my heart clearly, radiantly. Not distinct feelings, per se, but just this intense feeling of feeling.

I have continued my eye contact experiment back in New York as a practice. I make deep eye contact with the people I pass on the street, in the subway, in the elevator. The results? I feel the vibrancy of my heart all day long. Not to mention that I have met a ton of new people .

I dare you: make long, lingering eye contact with someone in your life today. How does it feel?

The feeling should come naturally since you're already desiring the manifestation. But here's a great excerpt from the book Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch that explains perfectly:

Does that mean I cannot ask for anything I want? Are You saying that praying for something
actually pushes it away from us?

This is a question which has been asked through the Ages—and has been answered whenever it has been asked. Yet you have not heard the answer, or will not believe it. The question is answered again, in today’s terms, and today’s language, thusly: You will not have that for which you ask, nor can you have anything you want. This is because your very request is a statement of lack, and your saying you want a thing only works to produce that precise experience—wanting—in your reality.
The correct prayer is therefore never a prayer of supplication, but a prayer of gratitude. When you thank God in advance for that which you choose to experience in your reality, you, in effect, acknowledge that it is there... in effect. Thankfulness is thus the most powerful statement to God; an affirmation that even before you ask, I have answered. Therefore never supplicate. Appreciate.

But what if I am grateful to God in advance for something, and it never shows up? That could
lead to disillusionment and bitterness.

Gratitude cannot be used as a tool with which to manipulate God; a device with which to fool the universe. You cannot lie to yourself. Your mind knows the truth of your thoughts. If you are saying “Thank you, God, for such and such,” all the while being very clear that it isn’t there in your present reality, you can’t expect God to be less clear than you, and so produce
it for you. God knows what you know, and what you know is what appears as your reality.

But how then can I be truly grateful for something I know is not there?

Faith. If you have but the faith of a mustard seed, you shall move mountains. You come to know it is there because I said it is there; because I said that, even before you ask, I shall have answered; because I said, and have said to you in every conceivable way, through every teacher you can name, that whatsoever you shall choose, choosing it in My Name, so
shall it be.

Yet so many people say that their prayers have gone unanswered.

No prayer—and a prayer is nothing more than a fervent statement of what is so—goes unanswered. Every prayer—every thought, every statement, every feeling—is creative. To the degree that it is fervently held as truth, to that degree will it be made manifest in your experience. When it is said that a prayer has not been answered, what has in actuality happened is that the most fervently held thought, word, or feeling has become operative. Yet what you must know—and here is the
secret—is that always it is the thought behind the thought—what might be called the Sponsoring Thought—that is the controlling thought. If, therefore, you beg and supplicate, there seems a much smaller chance that you will experience what you think you are choosing, because the Sponsoring Thought behind every supplication is that you do not have now what you wish. That Sponsoring Thought becomes your reality. The only Sponsoring Thought which could override this thought is the thought held in faith that God will grant whatever is asked, without fail. Some people have such faith, but very few.
The process of prayer becomes much easier when, rather than having to believe that God will always say “yes” to every request, one understands intuitively that the request itself is not necessary. Then the prayer is a prayer of thanksgiving. It is not a request at all, but a statement of gratitude for what is so.
