I just wanted to share a happy story. Im in the process of raising funds to start a business. its been almost year and I havent gotten what I want yet, which is an investor. I also have a full time day job and I have been looking around for a higher paying job so that I can fund my venture.
One morning while I was at work, my boyfriend and I had a conversation about me getting a new job. He said "You should find a very secure job that you like, just in case you decide your business thing isnt working out". To which I confidently replied "I know in my heart that I will get funded. It's just a matter of time and I'm not giving up". After our conversation I started feeling a down. Maybe I was chasing pavements? Why havent I seen any progress? I feel like I'm not getting anywhere. I don't know if it'll ever happen for me.
That day when i got home at 7pm, I noticed a black feather perfectly positioned standing up. Like someone had planted it into the mud. It was located right by my doorsteps outside in between some little rocks. I walked right past it, noticing it but not paying any thought to it. I decided to go out for some chinese food and when I came home, I noticed the feather again. I thought "I dont have any trees in my backyard (I always enter my house through the back) ANDDD how did this bird put its feather in the mud by my doorsteps?
" I have to admit I was a little freaked out. So I googled it and to my surprise my question that morning was answered. I didnt even have to pray for an answer. It was like god or the universe or whatever heard what I was thinking. I couldnt even explain my excitement that night! My question was "Will I ever see progress?" I felt this feather was meant to let me know, DONT GIVE UP!
