Some of you may be familiar with my story, I had been on no contact with my guy for about 5/6 months now and despite focusing on a reconnection I was seeing no result! I'm happy to tell you that it was indeed working and that he initiated contact again to my surprise as I had almost given hope!
This is the first positive step in months as I believe that no relationship can be built if you don't talk!
Funny thing is that I kept seeing more and more obvious signs of this happening, culmitating in a dream 2 days before it happened!

Don't give up people, just because you see no progress doesn't mean it isn't in the work

I've been able to manifest a lot of things along the years by using the LOA, but there has been a few things which have failed for no reason no matter how much I wanted them or tried.

This had been bothering me for a while and as I kept trying to analyse why certain things happened and not others it suddenly occured to me that I had manifested exactly what I had asked for I just didn't realize it. Visualization is the technique that works the best for me and pretty much the only technique that brought "real" results.

The thing with visualization is that you can really focus on one scene in particular that you want to manifest and this is where I realized that I wasn't using it properly. All along, I thought I was focusing on my goals but I was only focusing on a step believing that the goal would naturally manifest after the step, that it was implicit. The scene/step I visualized always manifested but not the main goal.

For instance when I wanted to improve a relationship I would visualize a nice conversation, the nice conversation would manifest but after it things would get back to what they were before, because i got what i visualized and only that: the nice conversation!

Another example, I tried to attract a man into my life and us to live together, I visualized him telling me about living together, and sure enough this happened, he brought up this conversation and for months plans were made and the subject was constantly talked about..but it didn't happen because I realize now that I only got what I asked for: him to tell me he wanted us to live together instead of visualizing the end result of us actually living together.

I realize now that when I thought the law had failed me it was me who had failed to understand the law. I always got what I visualized and asked for, and nothing more than that. The universe gives you what you put your energy on, and for me what I visualized and only that, it doesn't guess what your goal is, it just brings what you've focused on and in my case one particular scene/step.

I hope this will also help others in the same situation!

I'd like to know if anyone else has been in the same situation of being about to manifest something and that it failed unexpectedly at the last minute.
This happened to me quite a few times lately with different wishes and I wonder why is that and how to get past this as this is rather discouraging.

I'm a recent member here and I thought I would contribute and share with you 2 of the little things I have manifested and which gave me faith in LOA.

I have discovered LOA when I was very young (about 12ish) through the writings of Joseph Murphy and it's kind of the books that I use when I want to manifest something.

At the time of reading one of his books, as a kid, one of the things I wanted the most was a cat, my dad was against it for whatever reason, and for many years trying to convince him the answer was always no.
One day our neighbour adopted a very cute white kitten and as I was reading Joseph Murphy's book at the time I thought I could use the methods that the people in the book used to get a random object, bag, car etc by using this one cat as a model, and thought it might work for a cat.
I only did the affirmations and visualization once and then put it off my mind..a few months later one of my classmates tells me she found abandonned kitten and asks me if i want one..and that's when the strangest thing happened, my father who was so reluctant accepted and when she came to bring me the kitten, it looked pretty much the same as the one I had used as a model when i visualized!

The second story is only a few years old, I was in my second year in college and after getting the results of my exams for the second semester I saw that I had failed.
Again, I remember LOA and thought I would try to turn things around even though I couldn't really see how I could fix it at the time.
I visualized and affirmed that I had passed my semester..again, I only did it once and put it off of my mind..a few days later I get a call that there had been a mistake when they published the grades and I had actually passed!

I manifested other things, but those are the 2 small stories where I manifested things very fast because I only asked once and then put it off my mind in a way.

Lastly I'd like to share a story I like from Murphy's book and that in my mind represent a necessary step before manifesting:

The story is told that a young man asked Socrates  how he could get wisdom.
"Come with me Socrates replied" . He took the lad to a river and shoved his head underwater. He held it there until the boy struggled for air. Then he let him go.
Once the boy regained his composure Socrates asked him, "what did you desire most when your head was underwater?"
"I wanted air", the boy told him.
Socrates nodded slowly. "when you want wisdom as much as you wanted air when you were immersed in the water, "he said", " you will receive it"
In the same way, when;
. You have an intense, sincere desire to overcome a certain block in your life,
. You come to a clear-cut decision that there is a way out,
. You confidentenly decide that that is the course you wich to follow, then victory and triumph are assured. [...]
