A while back when I first joined here, I was quite depressed about wanting to attract my true love, my soul mate, "the one", my dream man if you will... Everybody told me that I need to let it go and have some faith, to love myself and to just believe. Well, I brought a book on LOA and everything started to make so much sense to me. 

The book states that if I want to attract a soul mate, that I have to write up a list describing every little single details about him, and to "feel" the happiness and love he sends me through me. I can feel them when I read the list I have typed up very strongly, and it feels so good. 

The weirdest thing, though, is that I keep seeing these "signs" of my soul mate everywhere I go. For example, I described my soul mate as having auburn hair. Well, one day, I went to the park with some friends of mine, and I saw this tall redheaded person coming my way. I got a little weirded out, but I also knew it wasn't him... turns out, it was a lady with shaggy red hair walking her dog. I really did thought it was weird, though. I also saw a lot of redheaded children running around in my job too. 

I also gave my soul mate a name, and... yep... I saw it everywhere. Some guy with the same name emailed me and I almost thought it was him, but it wasn't. I do thought it was a very strange coincidence, though! 

In the list, I described about how my soul mate would know of my past struggles and pain, and that he would tell me that I have had enough, and that he will make me feel great after all I've been through. My best friend started dating this guy and he told her this EXACT SAME THING! Even though they didn't worked out very shortly afterward, I sat there in absolute shock when she told me this! I thought, "This is too weird, it's almost like she reworded my list to me!"

Has this ever happened to you guys? Where you would see all these little signs popping up before your manifestations actually become completely true?

EDIT: Since I posted this in the "I am looking for" section, I am looking for my soul mate and I wondered if I can have some group support and maybe some prayers to help me achieve this. I will also help others in this section too, because I know that there's power in numbers.

Thank you so much, everybody. I know that I'm being needy and insecure, but it's hard to feel anything else but those two feelings when you feel like it's going to take a LONG TIME to meet your soul mate.

As hard as it will be for me to do... I will have to detach from this wish and focus on myself. There are a few issues that I'm still struggling over myself (self-esteem, confidence, depression, etc) that I want to be able to fix so that I can also be the perfect soul mate to my soul mate. He deserves the best version of me, after all... 

So thank you. Oh, do I really have to write down when/where we will meet? I already made a list of what he'll be like and look like, but I haven't wrote down as to HOW we'll meet...

You can do that, also write down how they make you feel and how they treat you. You dont have to throw it out, just know it coming, so dont worry about it. When you see other people together just know that you will be there soon enough, be happy for them and see yourself in their shoes.

I just wrote my list about what I want from him. I even wrote down how he'll make me feel. After I did that, I can literally feel his love flowing through me, and I feel happy and safe in his embrace.

I told myself that I'm going to meet him very, very, VERY soon. And it will be amazing. <3

My only question so far is, that there must be hundreds of books on LOA, and I've found several on Amazon.com that have received high ratings, but I know I can't trust some reviews too much... do you know which books are the best for getting to know LOA and how to get it to work in my life? Well... hi. 

I've heard of LOA back in 2009 on some other forum, but I didn't knew what that was nor was I in the right frame of mind to care for it. (Long story, I was in a really horrible break-up. Yep!)

However, 3 years later and I became a little interested in LOA when I heard about "The Secret" book. I haven't purchased the book yet, since I want to venture some other books on this subject (especially in terms of actually putting LOA into action), so here I am wondering how to start.

I hope you all attract the things that you deserve to have. God knows I need to attract some serious changes in my life right now.
