Though I do support the LOA and I know it works for me, I have to agree with Serenity's point above. What about babies? Their brains are in the process of development, so in reality it would be impossible for them to manifest anything.

@youngblueyes12: Law of attraction is about feelings. Babies always feel good. Even Rhonda Byrne in her book "The Power" has mentioned the same. In one of the chapters, she had mentioned that we should feel like babies/children do- they are always charged up, light in mood etc. etc. My personal opinion is that they do not have anything negative to think about- they have no idea of worldly sorrows which adults think about. They only think what God has in creation for mankind- "Abundance". Law of attraction says that God has created a beautiful world full of abundance, it is the feeling/thought of scarcity that gets us in trouble. Babies do not have these thoughts of scarcity because they are in perfect harmony with God. What do they want? milk/food, care, warmth... they manifest/think about that because that is what they need just as we manifest money, health, tours, travels, etc.  I don't know if I am correct but this seemed logical to me.

Babies' brains are the only organ that is not complete at the time of birth. Although a baby's brain has more cells at 17 weeks than an adult, a lot of organisation has to take place. The brain cells link up with each other, and these links are made and broken and changed continuosly.
The consequence is that the baby's ability to influence the world through the law of attraction is exremely limited. A baby certainly cannot choose what it wants much beyond being fed and made comfortable. It is only many years later that a child can begin to make choices about what it wants. A baby is not even aware there are choices available, much less able to focus on something enough to manifest it.

Edge is right too. The choices a baby can make are limited and that's why the manifestations of a baby on a personal level are also limited (food, warmth, play, etc). As the baby grows into adulthood, the socialization and conditioning that take place affects whether the person's ability to attract positivity expands or contracts.
