Do you think it will be the end of our world in 2012 for sure? I mean even if you disregard all of the belief that it is the last year of our earth, there are scientific facts that it might be. Scientists may not believe in the mayan calendar predictions but they do know that that's the year and date that many natural catastrophic events are about to happen.

Well if anyone reads the bible, no one knows the end, not even Jesus. Only God knows the end. In the US there was a man that made predictions something like three times, each time he was wrong. Enjoy each day like it was the last.

Anyway, jokes apart. On a serious note, according to Hindu religion, the year 2012 can be regarded as end of "Kaliyug" - Dark age.
Hindus believe that human civilization degenerates spiritually during the Kali Yuga, which is referred to as the Dark Age because in it people are as far removed as possible from God.

End of one era doesn't mean end of earth. This simply means something revolutional may start to happen after 2012. Surely its not end of the world.
