Valentine's Day

There are so many folks from different places in this community.  To think that we are apart of one world and one community yet miles apart is amazing.  If Valentine's Day has come and went, I pray you had a wonderful one.  For those of you celebrating today, may it be a day filled with love, good health and happiness! 

I celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday b/c it worked better for us.  I found that it feels sooooo good to give.  I truly enjoyed it!  It feels good to give love to all.  It feels good to do something special for ANYONE.

It does feel good to give today!   I took treats to work and put them in the work areas to share - chocolate.   My sister and I got a beautiful center piece for our aunt who is alone.   My sister and I also exchange flowers and cards for Valentine’s Day.  My mother started that idea as she sent us plants after we left home for Valentine's Day, and then we started sending her flowers when we started working. 
 Yesterday I got a flower arrangement early in the day from my sister - it was red and white.   However, I had been visualizing lavender arrangements this week.   I had a very good energy weekend - in the vortex.   As I did my errands I knew I was manifesting something.   When I got home there was another arrangement - lavender - at my door from my sister.  I talked to her later and told her.  She said about the time I was out and feeling my positive vortex, she got a message from the florist to pick something else as they could not fill her first order.   She did not pick lavender, but that was what arrived.  I do not discuss LOA with my sister; I just told her all week I had looked at pictures of lavender flowers.   So we got a free arrangement for me and it is what I wanted!

That sounds beautiful!  You should post that in "Success Stories".  I LOVE LOA.  The love and passion I feel for it is so strong.  You are a beautiful person Vicki Christina!

Hello Everyone!

I wish that I would have logged in yesterday. I was feeling very uneasy about Valentine's Day, being that I am currently still broken up, but I was trying to remain positive. I cried in the shower in the morning, but I stopped myself and told myself to think positively. To still believe!

I told myself that Joe loved me and was going to be thinking of me that day and that I wanted him to have the desire to contact me. I just wanted some sort of sign to let me know that I was still in his thoughts, which translates to me that he still loves and cares about me.

I was upset but tried to tell myself to remain strong and positive. I hoped and prayed and asked of the Universe all night the night before,all morning yesterday ... and then I thought he didn't contact me. I was disappointed, but I did find a penny on the ground, so I was  HAPPY and it helped me to be more positive and know and believe that he was thinking of me.

Then this morning I woke up and checked my blackberry for my emails ... and I guess he had sent it yesterday and I didn't see it or it didn't come through until this morning, but he emailed me!! It was about helping him get a good hotel rate in Las Vegas fopr a work trip, but after that sentence where he asked me for help, he then simply wrote "Happy V-Day."

I'm perplexed by this and I am analyzing it, but I am GRATEFUL! I hope that he used the wanting help to find a hotel room rate as an excuse to tell me Happy Valentine's Day.... and even tho it was the last sentence .. he said it! I am SO happy and Grateful!!

I haven't written back yet tho .. I'm unsure if I should.

Any suggestions?

Hi Mindiddy!

Jeannie Pitt posted this not too long ago and I love it!  I thought I would share.

So, I've had an amazing revelation today that sort of changes everything for me. I'm not sure I can effectively put it into words, nor that you'll be able to see it the way I do, but I figured I'd share anyway.

This was actually spawned by a post or an email from Edge. I forget which, but there was a line in there about demanding what's rightfully ours from the Universe. Now, if you're anything like me, you try NOT to be too demanding with friends, significant others, cashiers, etc. As such, I was not being demanding with the Universe either. I was asking, waiting around, wondering if the Universe was going to give me what I've been asking for.

Today I changed all that. I decided that, like for all of us, this money is rightfully mine. It's not coming from anyone or anywhere else. It's mine, it belongs to me. The universe is me and I am the universe. I'm not asking someone or something else to give me something. It's already mine.

This perspective restores complete confidence for me, and removes all fear, wonder, desire and hope. It changes it to something that already just is. I suppose this is what all the books and YouTube videos and movies about the Law of Attraction are getting at, but it didn't occur to me in this fashion until today.

So again, for clarity, let me repeat that this money is mine, it's yours, it's ours. Whatever you're asking for, stop asking, stand up straight and demand it once and for all. But don't demand it from the Universe, because YOU ARE the universe. Perhaps refrain from thinking it's out of your hands and up to some divine fate. Release the feelings of wonder and become one with what already is.

My suggestion, help him out and leave it be.  Over-analysis is the destruction to all.  Trust me, I have been there.     Be grateful that you received what you asked for. Continue your statements of gratitude and live by the post above.  It feels REALLY good!!

He just called! He called to ask me about hotels again. And he mentioned that he tried to call me a few times about getting me something that belongs to me. ... I played dumb. As far as I know he only called me once. I try so hard to let him lead the conversation etc. It's hard for me. I saw that it was him calling and I took a deep breath then answered the phone. My heart races and I get so nervous.

Schenderson - Actually after work today I took a plant to a woman I know who is alone and lost her husband last year.   We sat and had tea. 
 
Yes, the lavender flowers were LOA at work!   Thanks for the kind words.  You have been an awesome inspiration here for many of us.

My Valentine's Day was great, spent it with my family, we shared lots of love and laughter. I didn't have a date (as my soulmate is still on his way, and I already allowed him to come into my life) but I had lots of calls, emails and text messages that made me feel loved, inspired and appreciated I got a call also (I am still getting to know him better), one from the many in my list of potential lovers hehehe it was a very great conversation I also got a card (exactly the same design in My Creation Box) that made me shout yuppeeeee and that was from a true friend yuppeeeee
