Turning a situation around quickly?

Hi guys,

I'm new to this site so hello to you all! I've been interested in the LOA for a while now and have read the secret (re-reading it now) and the teachings of Abraham. My job is quite a high pressured sales job and I put ALOT of effort and time into it.

Recently the hard work had paid off however I was offered a promotion that I have wanted for soooo long and just as i got to the point of being offered it, a formal meeting and everything, my sales have dropped and it has been taken away from me and I feel very disheartened. It feels like everything is going wrong at the moment and I keep having sales drop off and lots of bad luck affecting everything to do with my job.

I know that I was focussing on not losing sales because I was scared I would lose the promotion which is why I attracted it but for the last 2 weeks every morning I've woke up, felt really positive, asked and believed for an amazing day and even writing what I'm grateful for each morning but still.... Everything is just going downhill.

Any advice on getting my career back on board?

The Law of Attraction will always align us with the circumstances and opportunities, which match our vibration--the culmination of our focused thoughts, feelings and beliefs, and whatever resonance we have.

So what should you be doing? You should remember the rule of LOA that trying harder may lead things to stop working as you want. The harder you try, the more of a vibration of lack you are offering, and as the Law of Attraction always lines you up with your vibration, a reality of lack is what you get. So you are right by saying that you lost sales because you focused too much on not losing sales.

In LOA, it’s almost as if the effort you are making is underlying the lack of what you are looking for. When you focused so hard to not lose sales, you actually added emphasis to what you do not have, and your focus translated into a shift of vibration.

To stop this from happening, you will need to de-emphasise what you want. Yes I know that you are told to visualize and think and act as if your wanted reality was happening now, but if your efforts are causing so much want, maybe it would be better to back off a bit.

How?

Very simply, by just continuing on with what you are doing--becoming satisfied, happy, content, self assured and grateful for where you are now. Do not lose hope. Have faith that when the time is right, you will get to where you want to be.

Though your conscious mind can confidently tell you that you do not entertain negative thoughts, what about your subconscious mind? I think it will be worth your time to reassess your beliefs from the inner most core of you, from past experiences, from what you read and see, from what you hear. If there are those beliefs and thoughts that you need to change, you can use affirmations, meditations, EFT, among others to manifest what you want - and not those you don't want
