Someone Answer This Please

So I read Ask and It Is Given by the Hicks.
I read The Secret.
I read tons of information about the Law of Attraction on the internet.
One question has been on my mind.
Can humans live forever?

The Secret clearly states we can heal our body and that we are recreating ourselves constantly with new cells.
Ask and It Is Given clearly stated that we can grow new body parts if we only believe.
I mean this is where I am so confused.
Every time I read these two books I just truly feel like there is SOMETHING not being told.
Yes I am displaying a lack of faith but I keep running into contradictions between these and in these two books themselves.

There is positive protons and negative electrons.
If my memory is serving me right I thought I was taught that they has to be a balance.
That it can not all be positive or negative.

I understand where you are coming from.  I look at our bodies like a car.  You can continue to replace things that are broken or worn down. However, in the end it can only last so long.     Hope that helps.

That I take as being able to die at the time of your choosing, as opposed to being "forcefully" ripped from your loved ones. There may come a time in which you may say "I have watched my grandchildren grow, I'm done here.".

Its an interesting question that you have put forward.

A great book that I would thoroughly recommend which covers this subject is The Autobiography of A Yogi by Pramahansa Yogananda.

In this book the author talks about saints that he has met that can , at will, manifest new body parts, manifest another version of themselves, and after death reform as they once were. Shaping molecules to form a new body.

I do believe that completely enlightened beings can live forever as they can simple choose to leave the body or recreate another body at will. "They" are the consciousness that is making the choice and the body is simple molecules manipulated by the thought.
