Request of the newbies

This may come across in a negative way, and I apologize for anyone who takes it that way.

There has been an influx of people new to LOA on the forum, and that can be great.  However, I do request that those who have not been practicing or educating themselves on LOA for a good amount of time please use caution in advising others.  I see a lot of people gung ho on LOA and they read a few topics and think they have a grasp and start giving out advice before they fully know what they're talking about.  Lending support to other forum members is wonderful, but when you start saying if you do a,b,c you're desire will manifest.  That's going to lead to a lot of misinformation very quickly.

There is a lot of information on this forum and the internet in general.  I really suggest that you take some time to fully absorb the information, read books, watch videos, and try different techniques and processes yourself before you start advising others what to do.

Again, I apologize if this comes off negative, but unfortunately, I think some of the forum regulars have been run off the forum because of this and that's a shame.  They have/had a lot of knoweldge that would be useful and I hate that they don't feel comfortable posting anymore.  In my opinion, what this kind of stuff leads to is disappointment in LOA when things don't manifest quickly.  LOA does not give a time guarantee.

hey, i understand what you are saying, but- they might be newbies on here, but some of them have already worked with loa and read a lot of it.... so that is a small difference.
i read about it and concentrated on it 10 years ago, so i am a newbie here, but not new to loa....

there has always been an influx of people here coming and going. And you attract the advice you get anyways, so no need to worry about who does what.

I dont think older members were run off at all. I think as time goes on, people that were originally brought here for specific reasons or wanting to know more, have already gotten what they asked for or come to a greater state in their lives so they dont post questions as much

 but they still post advice all the time. Schenderson, me, Dhaynes, Kate, Maripposa, 2thetop, Ginny, Believing love, Ava, Vicki Christina, Tereza, 57Angel, Bal, Lise, my precious AngelStar and so many more that the names slip my mind. I see their advice all the time, including my own.

I kind of agree with crazysoul, this post was strange to me. Why do you seem upset about what other people are doing? Live and let live.

btw havent you only been on here for a couple of months? You were posting a ton of advice to people probably after only a couple weeks.

Its not about who knows better, this forum is about socializing with one abnother about the concept of LOA and being the creator of your own reality. I think we can all agree that you get what you give. So lets not start making people feel uncomfortable and judging their opinions, because then thats what you will attract upon yourself.

Besides, all the advice is so mixed and due to different reasons, from old and new memebers its irrelevant trying to control it because people just end up doing what they want anyways.

Fair enough, we're all entitled to our opinion.  All I will say is that some of those people you listed have been conspicuously absent for a while (which is out of character for a number of them) and I know that for a few of them, the energy in this forum is why.  Now, I do see that I've contributed to this energy with this post, but I have been missing their advice and guidance and felt it needed to be said.

I can appreciate where you both are coming from.  I can say I spent some time away not b/c of the change of energy but b/c of events in my life.  However, it is difficult when you care deeply for the members here and you find new community members giving advice that we may find to be not the best.  The one thing to keep in mind Irishgirl is that "physically" we cannot change what these people do.  To start a post by saying "this may be taken negatively by some" is a pure indication that it was going come off wrong.  The intention is good and that is very apparent.

I see a lot of new members and miss the old but just like lashark said, people come here for different reasons and they aren't always meant to stay.  People come around for reasons, seasons and lifetimes.  We are grateful for them while they are here and remember them when they are gone.  We take in the new and guide them the way we were guided.  It all comes full circle.

WOAHHH schenderson my college instructor said the same exact thing today in one of my classes! The whole people come around for reasons, seasons, and lifetimes. He said it exactly the same way   
I think he definitely knows about LOA even if he doesn't realize it, he teaches a lot of things that people on here talk about. But yeah I definitely think we shouldn't discourage new members from posting on here, you never know, someone might come out of nowhere and help you out with something you've had trouble manifesting or whatever and completely change your life.
