I just wanted to share a story of how I got back with my Ex, and what happened afterwards. I feel there are so many people here that feel like that one person is the best and no other can even come close. Now I know I am being a little hypocritical as I am also in the process of wanting to get back with my ex but I think it’s important to share. 

I’m not going into too much detail over why we broke up; trust me it was a terrible situation. In any case she left me after 3 years and I was devastated. She called me about 3 weeks later and told me she had a new boyfriend. I took that very hard; in fact it shattered my entire world. I stopped eating and lost about 30 pounds the first month. I would hide at work when I had a chance, because I would just start to break down and cry uncontrollably. I did everything people tell you not to do , which is spam call and I even drove by her house like a idiot couple of times to see if she was there. Every time I tried to get close she would just tell me to move on.  I started to pray, and even before knowing LOA I was writing about us being together. Even though I knew she had a boyfriend I had so much desire to be with her I didn’t even care, it didn’t even bother me. I just kept pushing and praying and just pouring my heart and soul into it. After a few months I met a girl, il call her B, and while we started to date I just knew in the back of my mind I was still in love with my Ex.  Eventually the relationship broke down because I was just unable to let go of the past. Something in my heart was just telling me that I had to keep fighting. This went on for a few more months until I finally said I had enough, I can’t do this anymore.  I was driving to my ex’s house to see her one last time and go out with our old friends. When I picked her up she had a huge smile on her face and she said yes I want to work it out with you. I was probably the happiest man on the planet.

Some time passed and while we still had problems I was happy that I got her back like I wanted to. Out of the blue the girl B called me and said a friend was having a party why don’t you come down. Thinking nothing of it I went there. I was just sitting there and one of my friends told me he got this girls number and how she was great, I was happy for him and impressed lol. They started to date and one night he invited me over to play poker with them and some other people at her house.  I left my girlfriends place and drove there, expecting nothing. I knocked on the door and her sister opened it, and in that very moment it was like knowing this was the person I was always looking for. She felt the same way, she later told me. Eventually I left my girlfriend and we started to date, which was over 5 years.

The point is you never know what chain of events will bring you something that you really want, and even if you do get that person maybe the universe has someone else that’s been waiting in the shadows the entire time.  I spent over 6 months of torturing myself to get this woman back, only to fall in love at the first sight with someone a few months later.  It’s kind of funny looking back at the chain of events, at all the things that happened only for me to reach a person I always wanted to be with.

I am of the personal opinion that, even though we want what we want, from our perspective we can't see the big picture or what has been lined up for us in this perfect Universe!!
I guess that's why most of the things I read have recommended saying, "This person, or someone better for me" That way we are letting the Universe know what we want but also leaving it open to new possibilities.

Thank you for sharing your story! The Universe works in amazing ways, it truly will bring you what you desire. However, sometimes what you want isn't always what's best for you that's why you should always trust in the Universe to lead you to what will make you truly happy. No, girl B was someone i dated for a few months but she is the one that lead to me meeting my girlfriend. The one im trying to get back.

Ahh ok! Well good luck. I know you can do it.  You've manifested someone back in the past so you have first hand experience.  And so I truly believe that you'll be able to attract your girlfriend back.

It is funny how things work sometimes... and maybe i was supposed to see this tinight ... to move on and find whats really right for me ... Lord i just need something to distract me for awhile if nothing else
