Negative BFF

I have tried to explain LOA to my very best BFF.. She gets what I am saying but still.. she is a negative nancy. I find myself not telling her things anymore.. because of her negative energy.

A few years ago, we were BOTH 'happy girls' - our energies lined up together.. we had the best love in our lives with our significant others, etc. Well hers passed away.. and she found love again (and lost it).. but she became negative.. and is even more so negative about every aspect in life. I'm centering myself once more to where I was years ago - focused on myself, my daughter, my work.... and being happy again. I know I can't FORCE her to do the same, but it's getting very hard to be friends with her now. This makes me very sad. I want to be there for her.. and help her through this.. but honestly, there is nothing I can do - because she does not *want* help. She just wants to sulk in her miserableness and that is that.

So in this situation, what IS there to do?

i have a cpl friends like tht .. its hard to comprehend all this  sometimes,, all i can suggest is to keep the conversations with her light and upbeat .. and maybe seeing the diff in you it will be encouraging to her.. if u feel like she is hindering  your progress... tell her u do not want to be around the negativity .. tell her u love her wants wht is best for her  blah blah... ive gotten to the point where i do all my OA stuff i know my freinds se a diff in me ... they can be mmiserable if they want to ... i love em .. will be there for them if i can .. but im changing my life with or without them!
