I'm in a really dark place... need some encouragement/good vibes

I thought I was doing pretty well these past few weeks. I've been feeling mostly happy and optimistic about everything. I even managed to manifest a few minor things that helped me out when I needed it most... and then today it all went downhill.

Last week I found my old iPhone, which I had completely forgotten about. I put it up for sale on eBay and it sold for more than I expected. But today I log into my account and see that there's a hold on the payment because the buyer has filed a claim. I can't get the money until there's proof of delivery, but the service I used (Priority International) does not offer tracking or delivery confirmation. So neither Paypal nor USPS can help me. I've no phone and no money. (And I really needed that money.)

 To top it all off, the air conditioning in my car broke today, just in time for summer.

It's a bit mind-boggling that this could happen after how positive I've been feeling lately. I mean, I truly felt like I was "in the Vortex". What happened??

From what I have noticed on myself, even if you think only positively doesn't guarantee that everything will be just honey and milk. The difference between being negative and being positive , is the way you react when life is challenging you. Take it positive, think that all these happened with a reason which in the end will result in something great.

I'll give you an example: I wanted to buy airplane tickets as soon as possible because I really found them with a very good price, but in the moment I wanted to pay for them, none of my credit cards worked...I think I've done something wrong. Anyways I gave up, and I said oh well, it means I don't have to buy them or maybe I shouldn't go at all. Guess what? 2-3 days later I've received an e-mail from that airline company ( I was subscribed) and they would have given 25% discount for every destination if you would have  purchased the tickets that day. That was an ahaaa moment. Don't worry, be positive!

Yes, it is great when something like this happens...and would be like this all the time if we would not panic when something what we perceive as bad happens. It's all about the meaning we attribute to certain situations. So choose just a positive meaning! You'll find this  better explained  by Bashar if you didn't listen or read already. in any case I experienced this on my own many times. The example I gave you was just one out of many others.

hey Scheherezade, i am sorry that you too are feeling low these days- youre not alone so that you know that.
i felt disconnected so much, i guess you read my post.
i think the real things is to live in the NOW, what we are experiencing now is what we created in our past, but what we are nowand think will be our future.
i am trying to slowly come back by being grateful, seeing the small, but good things in my life... and again i am in the NOW, so nothing to worry about the future. we create now.
what also helped me a bit was to realize, that we have the choice to feel and be unhappy or if we are happy even when something "bad" came our way.
i choose to be happy, no matter what.

make an intention to get some money which you lost and trust that the universe will deliver it!!! nothing is lost....

Yeah, sorry to hear you're feeling down as well. It's amazing how quickly our feelings can fluctuate. Earlier this week i felt like I was flying high... but I guess the fact that this issue brought me down so quickly is just a sign that I'm not quite "there" yet. Make progress, definitely, but not there yet.

I guess we just have to find something to lift our spirits so that we don't focus on the bad. For me, that'll be seeing "The Avengers" tonight.

yeah its up and down.... within hours sometimes.... i can just repeat what helped me to go up today with my mood, was the fact that we are the creators of our feelings. we can choose.
and second again, in the NOW there is no tomorrow, so no worries about money or exes etc.... just NOW. and in the NOW there is no past, its only an illusion.

or maybe we should do some grid work which hain suggested?
