Love everything that happens to you. It is one of the secrets to working the law of attraction. Love every minute of the day and make it a real part of your life. Get used to this new way of feeling and it will lift you to the next dimension, the place where you should be in order to work the law of attraction.

Love your car, your house, the trees and the flowers. Love the birds and appreciate the beautiful sounds they make. Love your friends and love your neighbors. Love is a state of mind. You can just decide to do it, and when you do, you will find that love bounces back to you, and with it the ability for you to work wonders with your mind.

Thank you for sharing KNJ, this post struck me as I am also challenged now on giving love to people who are unlovable

There is no question now on how I completely and deeply love myself, but I must admit, there is still some areas to work on learning how to love unlovable others

It's funny but my experience is, you can LOVE someone and still not LIKE them or what they do or how they behave.

You can choose to love someone from afar.

I have a very strained relationship with some of my immediate family and although I love them, I can honestly say, I do not like them as people......but I DO STILL LOVE THEM.

Just something to think about.

I guess I don't necessarily think it's important to love EVERYONE. What I think is more important is to not think negatively of anyone. So there are people you love and then people you are indifferent to. You don't wish any harm on those people but they are somewhat insignificant to your life.

I totally understand what you are saying Irish, but here's the thing I have begun to notice through LOA....we are all connected, all one, yet separate, so if we love ourselves wouldn't we be well served to extend love and loving feelings toward even those you don't know?

It seems if we don't then we are not really practicing loving ourselves.

Like I said, you don't have to like someone.....but you can extend loving thoughts to them.

It's just a thought.

I have been reading "The Power of Positive Thinking" and it's sort of a "go to" book for me.....I carry it everywhere and anytime I am feeling down or needing a reminder or pick me up, I pick it up and read it but there is a part in there about shooting prayers and good wishes to random people you don't even know. So I use this sometimes, driving down the road and I see someone standing at the bus stop and I'll shoot them a prayer of love and good wishes.

I don't know them, on any given day most wouldn't pay the least bit of attention to this person but I think if you give love......to anyone, regardless if you like them, know them or whatever, it will come back to you down the road.

Plus, it makes you feel really good!!

Here's another thing I do, I love this, if someone is driving badly and does something that I would normally started swearing about, I shoot them a prayer to become a better driver......and then say "BAM" out loud......like I am shooting magic at them and the funniest thing has happened since I started doing that......the person driving badly all of the sudden starts behaving and driving normally and calmly......it really is like magic! It's amazing!! And I have tried this more than once and each time same thing happens.

I agree with mariposa. Think of it this way, idk if you guys are religious or not, but in the bible there's a quote on there that says to love your enemies and pray for those who
persecute you. I mean its easy to love people who love you back, anyone can do that. But loving people and sending loving thoughts to people who you didn't like in the past or don't know is what most people don't do but we should all do, and I would think will make us feel better in the long run. All of us are connected.

I guess I'm mainly thinking of toxic people in our lives. I have no issue extending love to strangers. I'm generally a very warm person, so I think I do that naturally. But we all know people who are just toxic - whether it is their thought patterns or the chemistry between you and them. And yes, if the relationship is important you can use LOA to affect change in the relationship. But sometimes, the best thing to do is to walk away from that person. Take the lessons learned and move on with your life.

The last man I was involved with is a good example of this. I tried to make things work but in the end, the best thing for both of us was to just walk away. I have no ill feelings towards him but I don't particularly care about him either. I don't want anything bad to happen to him but I don't feel anything when I hear about something good happening either.

It's an interesting topic. I definitely see value in living your life in love and have seen how that affects my life in a wonderful way. I have found myself looking at couples when I'm out somewhere and genuinely feeling happy for them that they found each other. I'm trying to manifest a lottery win and when I check my tickets and see that someone else won that night, I genuinely feel happy for them. I haven't always been like this - I have definitely been bitter in the past when I would see someone else have what I want.

I will definitely have to try your driving trick. LOL

I recently did a series of courses over the last year that took me through a process where you actually get to see, feel and understand the lessons that the people you have the greatest conflict with are giving you.. because there is ALWAYS a lesson!!
When you go through the process you understand the lesson and all you are left with is love and gratitude for that person. And then you are free of the negative feelings, in fact you begin to see the whole world differently. As Mariposa says every single one of us are connected, there is no separation it's just an illusion, we all come from the same source.
I found once I understood what the person was teaching me, the relationships completely changed for the better.
I think the closest thing I can find on the net that is the same as the courses I did would be the Demartini breakthrough experience-

hey trace.......ya ive never done those courses, but i have done what you are explaining. it helps in more ways then one for sure. you remove resistance, you learn valuable lessons and you see the world from another view.

I am SUPER GRATEFUL and i love where my journey has brought me.

thats an awesome quote. and so true D. when you are grateful every day it opens your eyes to another type of beauty. its really amazing. it seems that the more grateful you get, the harder work it is to be unhappy. and yes, these forums are beyond amazing. 10 years from now the world will be talking about the forums that helped kick off a new age of (ancient) thought and connect people from around the world. and even though i am not physically holding my girl, i couldnt be more grateful for where this journey has taken me, and the beautiful people that i can now visit world wide. its freakin awesome! i know people all around the world now! thats been a goal of mine for years

I can relate to that statement. Just take this into consideration. Love is the strongest power your vibration can emanate so just send positive thoughts of energy as it will benefit you and will receive 10x love back.
