Angels and 11/11 or 11:11

What do the numbers mean?

Folks often arrive here demanding to "know" what the numbers mean.

Honestly, expecting a precise answer to this is impossible. And there is a subtle but important difference between the number having INHERENT meaning, as opposed to simply being part of a sophisticated semaphore. In other words, you may see 678, and the fact that you see 678 is the issue, not that 678 necessarily means anything.

This is the typical situation.

1. Stage 1. You start seeing a number sequence. It could be any number at all, but for lots of folks around the world it includes 11:11. Why? Obviously because its memorable, and attention getting. If you see it once, you might notice it, and if you see it five times in two weeks, the chances are you will be conscious of it. Elsewhere we have explained that the midwayers were reduced to 1,111 for two thousand years, and when we humans invented the digital clock, they saw an opportunity to use 11:11 as a calling card. So, at this first stage, the numbers are simply prompts, or attention getters. They don't mean anything, except "Hey look at this"

2. Stage 2. You are now focussed on finding out where these come from, or why you are seeing them. At this stage they generally change, just to prove they can. It's part of proving to you that YOU aren't doing this, consciously or unconsciously. Some folks spend years in this stage. It's easy to convince yourself that YOU are just noticing something that's bound to be around some percentage of the time. But smart folks change the clocks, and avoid looking for numbers, they alter the chances till they are certain it can't be random. Eventually you, like us will concede it's not random - it's caused by someone, and that someone is not you.

3. Stage 3. If in your search you come across something like Doreen Virtue's list, the angels aren't stupid. They can use that list to communicate. It doesn't really prove much except they are smart. The same thing occurs with dream books. Buy one, any one, and your angels will use it.

Now for those folks still determined to attribute INHERENT MEANING to these numbers, I will quote here the list Doreen Virtue constructed.

The angels do their best to get our attention and to communicate with us. In this way, they help us heal our own lives. However, we often discount the signs they give us, writing them off as mere coincidences or our imagination. The angels say: “We can’t write our messages to you in the sky. You’ve got to pay attention and believe when you see any patterns forming in your life — especially in response to any questions or prayers you’ve posed. When you hear the same song repeatedly or see the same number sequence, who do you think is behind this? Your angels, of course!”

Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. They do this in two ways. First, they subtly whisper in your ear so you’ll look up in time to notice the clock’s time or a phone number on a billboard. The angels hope you’ll be aware that you’re seeing this same number sequence repeatedly. For instance, you may frequently see the number sequence 111, and it seems every time you look at a clock the time reads 1:11 or 11:11.

The second way in which angels show you meaningful number sequences is by physically arranging for, say, a car to drive in front of you that has a specific license plate number they want you to see. Those who are aware of this phenomenon become adept at reading the meaning of various license plates. In this way, the angels will actually give you detailed messages. Here are the basic meanings of various number sequences. However, your own angels will tell you if your situation holds a different meaning for you. Ask your angels, “What are you trying to tell me?” and they’ll happily give you additional information to help decode their numeric meanings.

111 — Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don’t want. This sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form. Are you pleased with what thoughts the universe has captured? If not, correct your thoughts (ask your angels to help you with this if you have difficulty controlling or monitoring your thoughts).

222 — Our newly planted ideas are beginning to grow into reality. Keep watering and nurturing them, and soon they will push through the soil so you can see evidence of your manifestation. In other words, don’t quit five minutes before the miracle. Your manifestation is soon going to be evident to you, so keep up the good work! Keep holding positive thoughts, keep affirming, and continue visualizing.

333 — The Ascended Masters are near you, desiring you to know that you have their help, love, and companionship. Call upon the Ascended Masters often, especially when you see the number 3 patterns around you. Some of the more famous Ascended Masters include: Jesus, Moses, Mary, Quan Yin, and Yogananda.

444 — The angels are surrounding you now, reassuring you of their love and help. Don’t worry because the angels’ help is nearby.

555 — Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being "positive" or "negative," since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continue seeing and feeling yourself being at peace.

666 — Your thoughts are out of balance right now, focused too much on the material world. This number sequence asks you to balance your thoughts between heaven and earth. Like the famous "Sermon on the Mount," the angels ask you to focus on spirit and service, and know your material and emotional needs will automatically be met as a result.

777 — The angels applaud you…congratulations, you’re on a roll! Keep up the good work and know your wish is coming true. This is an extremely positive sign and means you should also expect more miracles to occur.

888 — A phase of your life is about to end, and this is a sign to give you forewarning to prepare. This number sequence may mean you are winding up an emotional career, or relationship phase. It also means there is light at the end of the tunnel. In addition, it means, “The crops are ripe. Don’t wait to pick and enjoy them.” In other words, don’t procrastinate making your move or enjoying fruits of your labor.

999 — Completion. This is the end of a big phase in your personal or global life. Also, it is a message to lightworkers involved in Earth healing and means, "Get to work because Mother Earth needs you right now."

000 — A reminder you are one with God, and to feel the presence of your Creator’s love within you. Also, it is a sign that a situation has gone full circle.

If you want MEANING, its far more productive to give up semaphore and tune into broadband. In other words use meditation and make contact yourself.

But in our experience the most common steady state number sequence that WE see, day in and day out, is related to WHO the angel is. For example ABC22 drops in often at :22 and Matthew drops in at :33.

How often have you noticed the numbers 11:11, 12:12, 10:10, 22:22, 12:34, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44 or 5:55 popping up all over the place? These number sequences are not necessarily only time prompts. They can also be number sequences, like 333, 1111 etc. To your mind, is this a coincidence, or are they too frequent to be random? Perhaps you are puzzled or amused by this phenomenon? Possibly even a little bit nervous? The question everyone is asking is "What does 11:11 mean?" and "Is there a reason for this?" And there certainly is.

Millions of folks all around the world are now seeing these amazing 11:11 prompts. They are folks of all colours, all religions, all beliefs. It's spreading, and becoming far more common; it's become a major phenomenon. Someone or something is causing all these folks to look at clocks, number plates, phone numbers or any source of numbers even when they make no effort themselves to look for these things. You can even change your clocks in the house, and you will still be prompted, at the "wrong" time. You can't stop it, because YOU aren't doing it. Sometimes you will even see these numbers flashing after a power outage, even though digital clocks are supposed to reset to 12:00, not 11:11 or 12:12!

Hey Mariposa, thanks a lot for the interesting links yet again I have a question. From nearly two months, I am being bombarded with numbers like 111, 222, 333 etc everyday without fail. Most often, I wake up in the middle of night and see the time is 1:11 am, or the first thing I notice when I wake up in the morning is that some clock in my room has got stuck at 11:11...its been going on like this everyday and I see symmetrical numbers millions of times each day. But that's about it! They make me smile every time I see them but nothing major has happened, neither positive nor negative. There has been no significant changes. I know that its possible that something wonderful is happening in the invisible plane and I'll see it someday, but I am not sure as to why I am seeing these signs over and over and over again. I read the list of meanings that you have posted, it made sense but I don't understand how to apply it to my experiences and make sense out of it. Any ideas what this could mean, and what actions I should take or how to ask my guardian angels for guidance? I am an avid Paulo Coelho reader, and I totally believe in guardian angels. So I am really super excited about all this

I think you can just ask for help, but they will just watch over you until you do.  The numbers are signs they are with you and watching over you, so just ask for some help and I am sure they will be happy to assist you.

I had to find this post because twice yesterday I noticed number combos - 222 and 555.  I love the meanings behind those numbers combos.
