Hello all,

Lossing weight is a process. One must understand, inorder to to achieve, what you badly want there are two steps:

Step 1- Attract it
Its utmost important to be the one in thoughts, as you want to see yourself in reality. It will create your "I am now Slim" Attitude and design your belief system than your are already lossing weight.

Step 2- Inspitred Actions:
Dieting, gymming, exercise and aerobics all come later once you have that "I am already Slim" attitude and belief system in place to back you. Attracting weight loss works like a charm.

The manifestation of weight loss, is positively correlated with the way you attract and visualise to be Slim. Do not worry, just stick around to the law of Attraction forum, and you will learn how to manifest what you want instantly and effectively.

If "I am now Slim" didn't help, you can use "I am getting slimmer" which can be easily absorbed by the subconscious mind compared to the first affirmation.

Regular Workout along with standard diet plus extensive training of weight loss programs makes anyone feel better from inside and a feel good look good factor also inspires a lot ..... Thank's for the good post ....

do u mean that when we write affirmations write like as if its the process instead of writing for eg : i am wealthy , i am healthy etc etc.

When doing all of the above, are you supposed to hold on o that image like constantly thinking about it over and over or are you sposed to just let it go and try to not think about it? lol

When I am about to compulsively stuff in my mouth everything that I find to eat, I just visualize the picture of me looking slim and happy. The power of visualization is so strong that it overcomes the need for overeating. Now, I am only eating as much as I need. And I am getting slimmer.

People live their lives believing that if only they could lose weight they would feel happy.
However thats the wrong way round,if you feel great you will lose weight.I wrote an article on it last month,check it out :-)

Instead of focusing on losing weight. Which is a take away, i.e. you think you're giving something up.

What is your end result? I am so happy now that I weigh .......

I know this goes against the billion diet industry yet isn't the easiest weight plan - Eat less, Exercise more?

You have to inspire yourself to attain the weight you want.

Weight and eating have so many emotions connected with it.  After me everybody say 3 little letters E.F.T. - lol

It's hard to convince our subconscious mind that we are slim while everyday we look at the mirror and what we find actually is that we are not slim. When we use the word, "I am getting" we will plant the thoughts of becoming and there's higher chances for the subconscious mind to accept because it's not completely false statement like "I am slim."

It's the same concept for wealth, health and others. You can still use, "I am.." but some people just cannot generate positive feeling using "I am..". Only when they use "I am getting..." they will believe their goals are manifesting and that will generate positive energy; which is necessary for the affirmations to work.

That's really cool, I'm going to have to try that too. I can't seem to help overeating also so this is something that I definitely will use. Visualizations and affirmations are so fascinating. Wow!

I agree, it is easier to believe that "I am getting" and this is what I will use everyday until I believe "I am " :)
Like you said...If you see yourself in the mirror and the body shape dosent look like what you are thinking on
It is REALLY hard(for me too) to stay possitive and believe what I say to myself cuz I am not like that in the mirror

I did the "I look good at 180 pounds" approach, even though I was 193...

Well, steps I took were to remove cheese from my diet, lower my fat content in my milk from 2% or 0, as well as eating smaller meals, eating more meals throughout the day, and eating real foods, etc.

I did not really increase my exercise, in fact, it's remained where it was, if not, less.  Anyways, I've gone as low as 177 and fluctuate between 178 - 181.  Before, I'd fluctuate 190-195! 

I still allow cookies to be eaten but in my mind, they don't add to my weight.
