Release the Weight and Get Fit

I totally agree that it is about a release of weight.  When I was in a negative relationship, I got fat to put a barrier of "protection" around me and I never once worried that I would not be thin again.  As soon as I left that negative situation I lost 20 pounds in one month just by being happy.

I have gotten "fat" again.    But, I'm not worried.  I know that I will look even better once I lose the weight this time.  Most of it was because I retired from dancing and now I work at a computer all day, but part of it is also to keep Chris at bay.  I know that I will have a better chance of running into him once my body is back to the way it was or even better (hopefully).  And I'm just not ready (on the inside) to see him again.

The reason why I'm posting in this section is because I'm finally ready to release the weight or better yet, to release the emotions that are behind the weight.    I look forward to looking as good as I feel!

I'm already losing weight!  I don't have a scale but I look visibly thinner in the mirror!

As someone who has successfully lost 45 pounds, one of the reminders I do for myself is grabbing something heavy. For me, it was a giant bag of flour (20lbs, not 45 cause I don't want to kill myself, and in a heavy material so it doesn't burst open.) Whenever I feel blue about my body image, I remind myself of my successes by lifting it and reciting a mantra about how proud I was for succeeding in my weight loss goal, then dropping the bag down symbolizing my release.

I love this thread as summer is round the corner here and i can feel the fear of sumer dresses    I know it works as last year i was feeling down on myself and remembered loa so i started telling myself I am sexy, slim and beautiful and i said it over and over and amaingly i felt great and had so much attention from guys. This year i will say the same and maybe add i enjoy eating healthy too. Id love to see an update here to see how it works for everyone.. blessings! xx
