Being overweight can cause diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease and bone and joint problems. The primary culprits of obesity are eating the wrong kinds of foods and lack of physical activity. Here are some tips which can help us to get rid of this excessive weight.

• Grill and broil your meats instead of frying them.
• Use real butter instead of margarine.
• Cut back on alcohol consumption.
• Make French fries from fresh cut potatoes instead of using store-bought, processed fries.
• Replace shortening with coconut or olive oil.
• Drink herbal teas sweetened with stevia or raw honey to combat your cravings for sugar.

If we are here about the LOA, I have used this to lose weight and I have, quite a bit with very little effort.

I just put out there that I am thin, and I visualize my body getting thinner and then the ideal weight I would like and I give it up to the universe and just believe it will happen and it is!

How much more simple can that be? 

I don't count calories or work out like a fool, heck I have hardly done a thing....I even eat junk food sometimes and I am still losing weight.

Just use the LOA, ask, believe, and recieve!!

Easy......Peasy!~!!

Nice sharing.
The best way of loss weight is only if you do any exercise like jogging, running, walking and swimming then you could lost your weight easily .

My friend joined a fat camp, and its very effective! She lose 30pounds! She said that its very nice to lose weight in the fat camp. You'll never feel alone in your journey.

Running is the best exercises because it helps you burn the calories.
Just in 30 minutes a person can easily burn 300 calories.
Walking, Sprinting and adding hills or an incline can burn 180 calories in 30 minutes. Bicycling and Swimming of 30 minutes can burn 400 to 500 calories.

An effective and simple solution is drinking lots and lots of water. It's always something helpful for eroding anything toxic in your system. I've been fasting on juice and lots of water. I'll probably eat something light this weekend, and start up with fasting and running on Monday.

Can the Law of Attraction be actually used to lose weight?

My answer is a simple yes – but with exceptions.

the Law of Attraction requires action. You can’t just expect it to melt your fat away while you sit down at your couch. That is not how it works. If you concentrate on losing weight, think of it every day, feel excited about it, live your life as if you have already lost that weight, you will lose that weight – but not in the way you might be thinking it would work.

You see, once you have focused your thoughts on losing weight, what the universe will do is to put people, situations, and events in your life to help you lose weight. The universe will present you with powerful tools which can help you lose all the weight you want – if you are willing to take action. Without taking any action once the right tools have been presented to you, you can never lose the weight you want to lose. This is the exception I was talking about.

It may be a fitness expert you have stumbled upon this morning, or a discount coupon at a certain gym, or an invitation from a friend to workout with him. The universe will certainly present you with everything you need to lose that weight. Be aware of these things and take action as soon as they appear.

So if ever you want to use the Law of Attraction not just to lose weight, but to be, do or have anything and everything you want, keep in mind that you have to take action too. You can’t just sit around and wait for it to come to you served in a tray. Even if you have managed to manifest a thousand-dollar cheque, you still have to go down to the bank to withdraw it right? That in itself is action.

I found that doing meditation really helped me, not only did i get more energy but i started to eat much smaller meals. I went from eating huge plates to now having almost one meal a day, and i still feel great and have lots of energy. Since starting around 3 months ago, i lost about 40 pounds, and im not some huge guy.

Its almost like centering yourself brings your body in alignment and you start to go toward your natural weight.

that is awesome stef, why did you wait that long to share this really great successstory with us? :P

i too think that the alw of attraction works best for losing weight, especiall when theere are deeper reason, bad beliefs behind it. no one is thick without a reason, always something deepr in the subconscious.

it doesnt waork out, to make sport or diet, if you dont change your mind about your body and losing weight.
you have to love your body first and then it will start automatically lose pounds.

You can only treat your body as well as you feel about yourself inside. Before you attempt to lose weight you need to get your mind in the right frame of mind. Your body will soon follow. Most of us do this backwards. We tell ourselves that we will feel better about ourselves after we lose the weight. It doesn't work that way.

The foundation of all self-care is self-love. The most courageous and powerful decision you can make is to decide to love yourself and be happy in the present moment. All that you are seeking will come from this.

Losing weight with the proper foundation and beliefs will guarantee your success. You wouldn't build a house on quicksand would you? When you build your body with love the results will last.

The law of attraction states that you get more of what you put your attention on. When you are overweight your attention is focused on fat, food, diets, calories, etc. You are negatively focused. You are focused on the problem. The key to using the law of attraction for weight loss is to stay focused on the solution. Instead of focusing on what you have to give up, focus on what you are going to get by losing weight.

One of the most powerful ways of doing this is to act as if. Act as if you have already manifested and created the body and weight loss you want. Act like the thin person you want be!

Acting “as if” creates a powerful energy shift. Your actions will begin to align with your new intentions because it creates a positive expectation of success. You cannot succeed without this!

To lose weight successfully you must also know and feel in your heart that you can lose the weight. You must see yourself as capable of achieving your goal. You must decide that you can win this particular game.

This is what separates the winners and the losers in life. The winners expect to succeed, therefore they do. They have optimism. If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you’re right.

One of the best ways to act “as if” and create positive expectation, or optimism is through the practice of gratitude, the use of affirmations or positive self-talk, and the power of visualization.

I think using LOA and especially Affirmations like CrazySoul posted is a huge step forward.

I have a few friends that are overweight and majority of time when they encounter hardship in their life they turn to food, then they feel bad for eating and being overweight which just makes the cycle go around again.

But when you can stop the cycle and say food doesnt have a hold on me, i dont need it to make myself feel better because i am great just the way i am, it takes your focus away from that and puts that energy into other more positive aspects of your life.

There is a Wayne Dyer quote which i really like and it brought me to this forum "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
