In my earlier topic, the one which brought me here, I had said that my partner left me because some issues I could not handle.

In here I talk about such issues.

I live in an extremely negative home. My mother keeps ranting about SCARCITY. About what money is NOT there, about what money she is NOT being given, scarcity here, scarcity there.

And worst of all, she would never do anything about it. All she will do is complain and complain, and attract more and more of that ever hated scarcity.

Today I tried to manifest money. Sheer and utter money. But she somehow countered me by instead of manifesting more, manifested LESS. Her negativity was so much it countered my positivity. What's more, she expects me to become the very same LOSER who screams about the present lack of money, instead of pulling my way through and becoming wealthy and prosperous.

What I resented most was that, I have two parents. If one disappointed us money-wise, the NORMAL thing would be that the other would take it upon their shoulders to support the family.

But not here. She instead of doing something to change our situation, not only does nothing about it, but SCREAMS AND RANTS about what there is NOT. She is SHOUTING to the universe to give us scarcity.


HOW can I manifest money like this???

I know this one all too well!

Your mother still thinks she should be given things...i.e. what is in it for me? I think this is a parental generation thing. They are the generation of handouts.  Certainly in the UK anyway. 

Yet, you never hear the rich do this. They actively give money and any of their benefits away. Rich people share their wealth, poor people don't. The poor have an easy answer for this, well, they are rich. They should. Not : If I follow the patterns of a rich person, would I not be on the path to wealth? Even if it is on a smaller scale? 

Yes, 10% or 100 is the same as 10% of 1,000,000 proportionally, yet to a poor person it doesn't feel like it. A rich person knows within their soul. What I give out, I'll get back ten fold at least. They know they can make money at the drop of a hat, to literally appear seemingly out of nothing. A poor person thinks it just disappears.

Although this situation is really hard for you. It is and will be the greatest learning curve and clearing up your own stuff opportunity ever.  This is one of the reasons I travel so much. My own family home is also very lack orientated. It too has good days and not so good days.

You'll learn what you can and cannot say. Not everybody is open to or wanting to change their life for the better.  You are noticing your mother's scarcity because you also think and feel that on some level.

It is so cool, you are seeing all these things because you have a desire, which means you can, CHANGE.  People bemoan the lack of money because they don't have enough, even if they do. Often they don't for the things that they want.  Not need, but want. It is very self fulfiling.

I'd say your mother doesn't want to change, she doesn't know how to, or doesn't think she can or is worthy and deserving of change and getting more money.

No matter how you put it to her. She doesn't want to listen. This is why many of us read the same books, watch the same films etc. We know we can have better, yet for some reason we're not.  It is only on the hundredth read, we go ah...got it. 

I have a friend who is a millionaire, he became one through his own actions and thoughts. His Dad is not. He has told his Dad what to do and how to become one. His Dad is just not interested.

You'll have good positive days and bad days. That is normal. You'll think is this all really working?  Yes, it is even if it doesn't feel like it. The universe is testing you. Do you really want this?

Currently your mother's shouts to the universe are louder than your shouts. Given the fact that you will also be shouting this on some level, it's not surprising.

The easy answer is move out. Yet, I know from experience this easier said than done. Especially if you have grown up in a negative environemnt. Your first thought is I can't afford it.

To Do.

If you have your own room.  Make this your haven of positivity. Vision Boards, galore. You don't have to explain them to anybody. If asked why are you doing all of this?  i.e. your mother. What is important to her? Cash, yes, what else? What's her job? What does she enjoy doing?

It took me sometime to come up with such an answer for my father. My father was a deputy head of a prep school, really values education. My response....school fees don't pay for themselves. You mother will also have such a trigger that she will accept as a 'good' reason.

My dad still thinks very negatively. What if you business fails etc. What if it all goes wrong in Japan? I must think these too on some level, yet rather than dwell on it too much, I'm creating my business and my products, helping me help others and hopefully adding value to thier lives.

Fill your room with positive images, words, books, audio tapes, anything and everything that you can find to keep programmin and imaging yourself and mind with what you want to achieve. Write you ideal day out. Clear out old negative stuff, stuff you don't need. Change how you sit and act. Get on a pair of running shoes and go for a run. It's great for clearing the mind and repeating mantras, oh and getting healthier.

Outside - Find people who are where you want to be, talk to them. Ask them if you can ask them questions or help them for free. If you don't know anybody, write a letter asking for a person or people to appear, who could help you.

The best advice I can give you, is keep going! You evidently believe you can have better. You have the desire. You just now need to keep going to achieve it.

Now that I have analyzed it clearly........the worst part is, they do not know the words LET GO.

I want desperately to let go of pop, while they keep pulling and pulling, with their foreheads marked with "I NEED. I NEED. I NEED." Pushing abundance away. I look forward to the day I will be free to exercise my attraction power without being countered by people like this..

It's a tough one. You'll have good days and not so good days. Well done for noticing everything that you're noticing and feeling. That is massive.

They don't let you, ergo you don't let go. Keep at it.

What does it look like, sound, like feel like etc. Cracking goal to begin formulating and attracting, don't you think?

I do not want to sound as though I am picking on you. However, you need to understand that you are unable to change anyone but yourself. You will need to find a way to apply the principles of Attraction. The only one stopping you is: YOU. The negativity of another can only affect you if you allow it to affect you.

You are capable of overcoming anything. You can find a way to distance yourself from your parents. You can set you mind towards your goals. All you have to do is choose to do it! Remember, you should be focusing on your goals - not the negativity.

My advice is to realize that even though you may be in a situation you don't like and can't see a way out of you are still in control of your vibration (or signal) to the universe.

The people around you are all creating their own reality and you are creating yours. By focusing on the other people though, you unwillingly give up your power and take on their vibrations. So you begin to attract the same things they are.

Imagine it like this... If the people around you were all listening to music on a cd player at a volume level of 5, but you had a cd player that was turned up to a volume of 10. Your higher volume would overpower their lower volume. All you would hear would be your own music.

A positive thought is many times more powerful than a negative one. If you, and you alone would begin to focus on abundance and to believe that you could attract it no matter what anyone around you was doing, your vibrations would raise to a level that would over power all others.

You can attract abundance into your life and be the example that the people around you need to believe for themselves. Imagine how great it would feel to attract money around every corner. It would amaze those around you. It would cause them to rethink their beliefs. They would all come to you wanting to know your secret.

My girlfriend and I are in similar situations. Our families can be very negative. Try to find time to yourself to meditate and focus on what you want. Once you get it, they will be amazed!

I am currently living with family that are negative and saying that I can't do this and that, what I did was kindly say that I was going to go away for a few days with friends, and I have been away all week. I came back today (not on bad feelings or anything), and have had a lovely evening with the 2 of them. It wasn't fantastic, but it was way way better. I also found somewhere to live that I can call mine, and will be moving in the next two weeks! I went to bed Friday saying I will find somewhere to live tomorrow in a certain... I saw a load of places, but the first one I had seen was right, and I took it... In ONE day I manifested exactly what I wanted and need right now!

Being round negative people is NOT good, but I decided I wanted out, and I am going to be NOT around these negative people anymore, and the relationship between the three of us will be a lot better in the future!

Funny this thread emerges again....as I finally found the solution. The main negative person is now far away from me, and I only have to talk to her once a week.

The other leaves me alone all day, that way I can be at peace with my positive self.

I am making great progress at remaining calm no matter what. Situations that in the past should have angered me or saddened me now do not affect me to that point anymore.

you can still manifest all the money you desire David. Don't give up! Believe in yourself and don't let your mother's negativity bother you. It's her reality... it doesn't have to be yours. Don't try to change her, instead change yourself!

Have you tried to talk to your mother about how you feel when it comes to her attitude about money? If it really bothers you, maybe it will help if you were to confront her about it. You could be doing her a favour.
