Maybe I don't want money?
« on: January 29, 2012, 02:18:10 AM »
Hi!

I am like most people that I want to win the jackpot :D.
Well I thought at least.

Now when I think about winning the lottery I don't really feel excited. Not even when thinking about the stuff I could buy.
Yeah, I know I still have some limited beliefs about money. but even now when I am starting to get that shit out of me I just don't feel very excited.

I am much more excited and interested in spirituality, love, and computer programming ;D.

But I still feel that I could do and get so much if I just got some money. For example I would love to move somewhere else(where there's a lot of nature).

So should I continue believing or just leave it and instead focus on the "things" I want instead of the money?

Money comes and goes.

Winning the lottery means nothing if you blow it in a year, which many winners do.

The idea of winning the lottery isn't the attractive part, it's the "having more money than you need to have the physical things you want."

For example.

If you were the chief of a village, you probably would not have a great deal of money. But if everyone continually offered you food, items etc then you would never need money right?

If you want an expensive car, massive house and strippers on tap then the simplest way to getting those things is to say "Ah the lottery would fix that."

When actually you could create the lifestyle you want and earn money at the same time. I would rather have a career I love and earn 1% of a lottery jackpot than win the lottery and have nothing to do but spend the money each day.

The lottery is like turning God mode on in a video game. The achievements seem frivulous.

I totally agree with you there, I just hadn't though about it in that way.

But I don't really understand the last part(sorry if i seem like a noob)

EDIT Maybe I should research more about the law of attraction and money. This forum is awesome and I can probably find some good threads.

Its great that you have identified that you have mixed feelings about winning the lottery.

One of the main things that holds people from attracting wealth into their lifes is their unconscious beliefs about money.

Wealth can flow into your life from many different sources and so you shouldn't neccessarily expect it to come from the lottery.

If I was you I would focus on what it is that you want that money could bring you. To me it seems that freedom is something that you value highly. I also believe that the greatest gift that having an abundance of wealth can give us is simply the freedom not to think about money.

Focus your thoughts on how you would live if you were freed from the need for money.

Hey Hoff! Gosh this is so cool that you're sifting through what you don't want and realising what you do want! There is no right or wrong answer in this game, it's the game of what do you love! And you know what you love...love, spirituality and computer programming! There's no law anywhere that says everyone has to want to win the jackpot :)

And now I'm gonna share what I love with money; my money vortex, with you - 'cause I love talkin about it and sharing it, and it can contrast with what you want and make more interesting :)

So, here's the money I'm getting closer with in vibration: $100,000. I'd be happy if I won it, but even more happier when I make it with a business idea I have. The thrill comes from knowing via evidence that I can make that much money and seeing my idea translated into action and form.

What does the money mean to me? For me the thrill is in spending it all in a short space of time, oh hell YEAH, I love spending money. I worked that out a while back, and rather than thinking 'I have to learn to be more thrifty' (BLARRRGH!) I realised I just gotta have the money there TO spend :) So I'll spend it all within a couple of months. What on?

A new Mini Cooper with a personalised number-plate, airbrush painted with a blue and purple galaxy
A $10,000 shopping holiday to buy my new wardrobe and get lots of pampering treatments
Two long holidays to Disneyworld
Kitting out the inside of my new house with brilliant furniture, artworks, crockery, cutlery, sheets, bed & lighting

That's my $100,000 right there.

And after that...well, after that I shall want something else! 'Cause that's the way we work; we're constantly at the leading edge of creating.

I'm also manifesting a $100,000 annual income, but that's another story.

$100,000, $100,000, $100,000...gosh I love this number ;)

PS cleverly, for some people the idea of WINNING could well be a big part of the attraction, the feeling of being picked out, being special, being lucky...etc. What attracts anyone to anything is different for each person.

I'm starting to see now that it is not really the money I find boring, it is actually the lottery. The reason I've tried using the lottery is because I just don't see any other way money could manifest. But I know that I don't have to know everything, but I still have those old beliefs in me. The good thing though is that I know tools and ways to reprogram my mind and that's probably what I'm going to do.

And thank you all for your answers. It was very interesting to hear your thoughts and it gave me some thoughts too.

Hi Hoff!!!

Thanx for sharing your thoughts, I feel exactly the same way... I'm not working for maternity and the only way I see myself manifesting the $100,000 (iloverainbows just like you!!  :-* ) is through lottery or similar... and I dont see myself lucky at all..

Any tips? ;D

PS: and I want the money to pay a babysitter  :P and have dinner again with my hubby!!

I posted a really good way in this thread: http://www.powerlawofattraction.com/forum/how-to-use-law-of-attraction-12/have-i-really-attracted-all-the-$hit-in-life :).

Faster EFT works really good for negative beliefs and such(I have used it A LOT to let go of negative beliefs).

Oh i heard a great video about lottery, on youtube from Bashar. He said using LOA it is much better to picture the machine picking your winning numbers, than to sit there and think your ticket is the right one.

Check it out,

"Bend" the rules to your own advantage. Literally visualize the machine picking your numbers. Not the other way around. It doesn't matter what numbers you have. There are no "winning numers". You create the winning numbers. So just visualize that the lottery "machine" actually picks your numbers. That you like see those balls with your numbers. Or something like that.

It can be quite hard for some people to understand Bashar(I had problems understand him when I first found about him too).

I should probably listen to my own advise too lol.
