Job seeker, you'll get a job when you give up
« on: May 03, 2011, 07:43:27 PM »
Many times I experienced from myself and from my friends and story around that..

When people lost their job or looking for job, they go out apply for job. Apply as many as possible and nothing happen. People feeling down and tire of seeking for job.The more they do, the lesser hope they get and so on.

Until they give up.
They throw their wish into the air to totally give up and about to stop to seek for more.
Completely let go of their will.
And the next day, telephone rings for job interview and they get the job.
And after a day they get new job, more telephone for job interview or vacancy offer keep coming like a river flows.

This Law of Attraction.
Wanting a job so badly but never getting one, because lacking-like attitude hold it down, but on the other hand your demand energy is collecting in LOA universe.

It's ripen and show result on the day you given up, LOA power unleashed and play its part!

Hey Peter! Yes I agree with you that when we let go of the feeling of lack, we will manifest faster. So when people give up on the job, they dont care about it anymore, and hence they become detached from the outcome. Thus there is no resistance to block the manifestation and the desire comes to fruition in no time. Detachment/Letting go is the key for quicker manifestation in all cases.

For me, manifesting jobs is very, very easy.  I recently lost a job that I really liked and was very grateful for.  i was wondering why i lost it and looked for an answer.  now, I had absolutely no attachment to losing the job but i was curious for an answer.  i picked up time magazine and learned that one of the clients of the company I had workd for is cheating people who are down and out.  Basically, my paycheck was coming from fraud and deception.  No wonder it didn't work out!

Well, I have a job interview tomorrow and another one on Friday.  My last day at my old job was this past Tuesday.  i certainly can't complain about how quickly new job opprtunities come.
I'm really excited about tomorrow's interview because the woman who will be interviewing me was extremely personable on the phone and if anything, I'm sure i will enjoy the interview!

Hey!I've been unemployed for almost 3mos now as I've been terminated & it was so bad.Tomorrow,I'll be called for a job interview.I was thinking of making fall-back plans so that if I don't get accepted in a certain company, there may be other companies I can go in to.For sure, nobody wants to be left hanging in the air waiting for nothing (that is very common in our country. The company will say "We'll just contact you blah blah then you'll never hear from them ever again so if that line is being delivered,we take it as a subtle way of rejecting someone).I just want to ask for your opinion,do you think fall-back plans would make matters worse?I just want to play safe.I value time. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for comments.

People seeking for job can easily feeling down after while, (in a couple month or more that they get no accepting from any firms at all) We can't help feeling down, but the feeling down also does not help you, too. Hah tricky stuff once again of Law of Attraction..

Bravelioness, I understand that you are working out to solve with logic and reasoning. There is no right or wrong to do so, further I would like to insist that Universal mind is above logical and physical world.

Creative Visualization and absorb feeling of successful job hunting does WORK.

In my past 7 years and from many companies and industry I rotated, I never take longer than 14 working days to get a job. I uses mainly Law of Attraction. I hardly use physical world method like many job advisor has provided.

Because Universal Mind is infinite intelligence, connect to it and you'll become your own advisor and know exactly what to say upon the interview and can easily impress job interviewer, even you are not trained before.

@Brave, do whatever you feel is right.  That is the key to everything!  I always have backup plans for jobs and I get job after job in an economy where people feel that jobs are scarce.
But, if you feel that having a backup will hurt you dont do it.  i like it because it reminds me that jobs are abundant.

Life attraction,
Perhaps you are not successful at manifesting a job because you are doing so out of the desperation to have a job? I have had many interviews since resigning from a job I hated last year. Amazingly I have manifested enough money to live on and I still have money in the bank! All I have had since then, has been a part time 14 hour per week job in the after school program and sometimes I don't work a full 14 hours because we only work when the children attend school; But somehow I have managed to make it on that.

There have been no interviews that I have been to where I felt I really wanted the job being offered and I was not disappointed at all when no call came. Because of that, I know there are great things around the corner for me. So Life attraction, are those applications that you have been filling out, for jobs that you think will make you happy? The universe will not give us less than what we desire and you may not  subconsciously be desiring those particular jobs. You may only be applying for jobs because you need a job, not because you want a job. Does that make sense? And also Life Attraction, have you tried being grateful for the job you want (not need) like its yours already? That may be another area that is keeping you from manifestation.

We have to look at manifesting jobs like we look at relationships or anything else. We must be grateful that our needs are met (food, shelter, water, clothes,) and having a job we want is like icing on the cake (or a bonus.) My needs are met, so I can ask for those extra bonuses with a grateful heart. I know it will happen for me. My dream job is on its way and that is why I am grateful those interviews did not result in a job. My subconscious mind/ higher self had a gut instinct that I would not be happy working at those places. I only went on those interviews because I thought I "needed" a job. Now I don't need a job. I want a job.

Okay so of course we need jobs in order to fund those needs like shelter and food and water right? But we should go into asking for it like it is something we want, not something we need or MUST have. So let go of the desperation of needing that job. Instead, have a desire for that job and thank the universe that it is going to give you that job that you want or desire.

Thats how I see it anyway. I may be wrong and if anyone thinks I am off track here please correct me and set me straight.

Thank you and I love you all!

@Life, Sweet Spirit is right.  Why are you applying for jobs that you think are the lowest of the totem pole?  Energy is everything.  Do you not think that the people to whom you apply can feel that you think they are the lowest of the totem pole?  Would you hire someone who thought you were the lowest of the totem pole?  Why don't you only apply to the jobs that you would like to have?  That's what I do.

I agree with what most here are saying.  I think so many don't get that job because they are just living in the fear/desperation/uncertainty of not having a job, instead of focusing on the blessing of their dream job.

Hi guys!Ok.An update in my job search.

For months,I've already been frustrated b/c I kept sending job applications to different companies but I just end up either being rejected or hanging in the air. Then I read this post & it kinda hit me.I figured out that this is true.People are merely working for the sake of survival.Even if they don't like the job, they stay as it would provide them with lots of money but their health, relationships etc are being compromised. My parents have been pushing me to go abroad & even attempted to blind me by saying that when I come back here in the Philippines,I'm already a millionaire & the like that I should be think practically.Yes I know I would have a lot of money but I knew that I won't be happy doing what they'd like me to do.I want a career where I can take hold of my schedule, can support me to the point that I become financially stable/independent,& above all I enjoy doing that it won't feel like work at all.

Now,I found a publishing company that publishes works of aspiring writers aged 15 & above.Ever since I was young, writing has been one of my passions but my folks don't support me as they think that my writings are works of "lunatic people".I don't care now about what others say.I'm now in the process of compiling all my works.I hope this would be a stepping stone to my career which would make me financially stable/independent which I really want.

That's all for now guys.If you know any famous publishing house in your country,I might have some of my works translated into English as some of them are written in Filipino.Haha! :)

@Brave, keep holding your dreams in you - go go go for it!

I am so happy to see this post now and everyone's replies. I have a problem now in my job, we are advised to look for jobs from the private sector while legal battle of a government agency I am connected with is still on going. I do not know until when this legal battle is and we are advised that we can only reinstate as soon as the legal battle ends. One thing that I am so grateful for, I have a family who is so very supportive and so very loving to me, who is always there for me through thick and thin. I am thinking of seeking for greener pasture while there is still problem with the agency I am working for, and am more than sure now, there is something good for me in this situation. Thank you for this post, you all helped me gained strength and inspiration in this :)

hey! its great reading all of your replies. what i wanted to ask is, can we apply loa for two things at the same time, for eg., a job and a relationship, or we wait for one to be manifested and then concentrate on the other?
