ztptmpd: Well, if you are confused about my view, its clear to me that you can. Some authors say no and some say yes with a big bunch of restrictions. I think the problems are only the same as when it comes to other things. You cannot come from a position where you feel bad or feel that you need this person to feel good. Feeling good is your own responsibility, not your partners. If you feel good and grateful for where you are, it should work. The obstacles that may occur are within you.

I happen to disagree with you on this point.
I don't know you, and with all due respect. I think you are dead wrong.
My thank you was meant for LoveofAbundance's reply to your post.

I do feel however that if a person does not know you, or has never seen or heard of you, then action will have to be taken to get that person to know you. If you have had a loving relationship in the past, then that love remains forever tucked back into one's heart. So attracting that person is by all means possible and likely provided one's heart is not preoccupied with another.

I do agree with this post. I did read this article some where when I have not known the Law of Attraction. However, what do you meant by " Letting go to the divines light. " ?

Should I meditate and visualize that there's a universe's light and I have to let go all my desires to it ?

Letting go is about letting go of the desperation, neediness, anxieties, negativity and soforth. You surrender those and replace them with positive loving thoughts. It takes some time, but you'll get there.

Yep. But how do I let go off them ? I mean, it's there and always. It's hard for me to let go of it. Any steps for me to let go off all the negative vibrations ?

It sounds as though you might have someone in your past, maybe an ex you would like to attract to you once again.
I fear you have been listening to those that say attracting a certain person is not possible because of free will.
Attracting anyone is possible, an ex even more likely, because of what you two shared in the past.
If you are in love with someone you know is the "one", then you should attract them, and with patience and perseverance, you will attract them to you. Its what you do after you attract them that decides how much of your life they will share with you.
So when you set about attracting a certain someone, you still need to be very specific about what it is you want in this person.
In my case, I guess I'm lucky because everything I want in a woman exist right there in her. I am not so lucky though, because I think at this time she doesn't share the same vibrations as I do. I could be wrong, but if she does, she sure is fighting it. We haven't had any communication since August and I haven't laid eyes on her since April.
I believe with all my heart though that the Universe will set up a situation where we get a "chance" meeting. If this happen, I know that her attraction for me will rise, and this is why I think she doesn't communicate with me at all. Fear. Fear of falling again, fear of her new dreams not being realized because she is with me. What she doesn't know is that i share those dreams with her, same dreams. Right down to moving to her home state with her. I have nothing holding me here anymore and can set up my business in any largely populated metropolis.
We are one and the same her and I, but her fear will not let her explore us again for now.
Anyway. In order to attract her, and for you anyone you desire, or maybe just a general guy. You must want, send out those feelings, let go of them and detach yourself from the outcome. See the end result of your desires and feel at the end of them. Know it always, feel it always, but you cannot have a neediness or it will not manifest the way you want it to.
Thats one of my problems, I still have a bit of neediness and I have yet to let go of it.
I know that when I do, I have opened myself up to her, and everything else that the Universe might have up it's sleeve. It leaves me open to the great possibilities out there for me.
I want to be at the point, where I want her, but I don't need her.
I work on myself, my own happiness and my own life, I get to the point where she is not needed for any portion of my happiness, and then it happens. If it IS her, great, if not, then thats ok to. I have my power, and I am happy either way.
I like the "Letting go into the Divine Light" it sounds as though it is an affirmation and a visualization all rolled into one.
I don't know what going to happen, I believe I know whats going to happen, but as soon as I let go, I will find my truth. Who knows? maybe its not my ex, Maybe its one of you fine people on here!! Who know?
I do know that Jesus was a man, a very enlightened man, that made miriacles effortlessly because he had absolutely no doubt in him.
He said he is the Son of God, he actually said in those words, we are all the Son of God. He said even the least of us can do the miracle he has done and greater ones. Thats because he knew, what we are made of. We are made of God, the Universe, One and the same.
Hope this helps anyone who cares to read it.

Thats great, but I'm not so sure you actually tricked the Universe, I think instead you may have tricked yourself, thus creating the high vibrations of joy. The Universe picks up on our feelings, and if thats what you were truly feeling and putting out there, then thats what the Universe picked up on.
I think its great, I would do it. I have tried to do it, but the feelings inside me are still too strong to even trick myself.
But as Abraham says; "A belief is a thought you keep thinking", so as this is true, I will get there myself.

I just got this e-mail From The Secret Daily Teachings: "You can most certainly help others through your thoughts, and they can help you. Every good thought you send to another is a living force. However, the person you are sending the thought to has to be asking for the same thing you are sending. If the person does not want it, then they are not in harmony with your thought frequency, and it will not penetrate them.
You cannot create in another's life against their will, but if it is something they want, your thoughts are a real force that helps them."

This makes perfect sense although it hurts me inside cause it tells me that i can't get my ex back cause he's very happy with his new girlfriend and probably doesn't even care about me...so what to do? i'm lost

In short, you make yourself happy without him, yes you can attract him back if that is what you truly desire.
But you have to get your power back. Set your intentions, let go of him and believe, expecting his return. No time limits, no what ifs, You have to believe and feel with all that you are.
I am here to tell you from experience, this is a long hard road, at least it has been for me. I recommend you take some time to write out and decide if you really want him back or not. The pain will go away at some point, the neediness will subside. And you will start to feel good again all the time. It is then, and only then, that you can attract your ex home.
It is an experience to say the least. Please though, don't take my word for it, because the only thing I have now is faith in that my desire will manifest.
I don't know when, or how, but I have finally, after 8 months have come to grip with the unimportance of knowing when or how.
I just have my faith and my ability to remain happy no matter what. I have my power back.
Think on it, see what you want. Then go out there and get it!
The world is yours for the asking.

Wow! Very nice HelpingItHappen!

I have been married 31 years, good and bad years, but nothing is ever perfect. My husband left 6 mos ago. I live in CA, he is living in Illinois. He is so very lost, but I have much faith! He will return, many mountains is being moved, but I believe that my Lord will come through.

I have to say, during the holidays is very hard! I have to admit I have not been very positive these past few days. I have a new set of friends out here on the LOA board.
