what do you think about writing a letter to your ex without sending?

i read it somewhere on the web--- write a love-letter, but dont send it.

I did it twice when my relationship with my guy was on a state of turmoil... this process is the one we call as scripting or anything you may call it.. though we don't the effects of doing so, the power behind it will be really amazing once when things start to change as you wanted them to be.. much love..

i do scripting as well, but i mean writing a letter to him, how much i love him and way... etc... just as i would write him, but not sending.

do you know what i mean?

when i did my script, i wrote in the present, that things are happening as I would tell a friend

Yes I've done that...

But not for my ex ( somehow idea of attracting ex back is very hard for me to digest, but anyway thats my personal opinion )

When I am depressed or i have a lot of performance anxiety I just write down (and I mean write down on a piece of paper with pen) whatever thoughts come to my mind, may it be good or bad. This gives me some sort of mental release. And after writing that down I feel very relaxed. I told this method to many of my friends and it worked wonders for them. Write down and read them again. This will help you understand what are your fears and their sources. This way you will start to understand what you are exactly and how you behave in certain circumstances. And when you re read whatever you've noted down, you will observe that most of our negative thoughts are irrational. Some thoughts pop up in our heads which do not make any sense once we are through the situation. Thats why it is important to write it down. Because we do not remember our each and every though looking backwards.

It is just another method of exploring you own mind and understand how it works. It is a good exercise to make your mind focus on particular aspect.

Also, don't forget to write your thoughts down when you are feeling amazingly happy. You can read these thoughts again when you are feeling low and it will help you restore your energy again. Since you've already experienced this state of mind, its more powerful than just uttering the affirmations. Affirmations work best when you can associate them with some real feelings or experiences in your life.

thank you for your help, but since i found pstec, i prefer this technique to get released, nothing against you though happy for any advice and help.

i just wonder if its good to write an virtual love- letter

Is that ho'oponopono as your signature? I read about that somewhere it is also a brilliant releasing/ cleaning technique. I practiced that for sometime and then somehow stopped that.

i just repeat it to myself as much as i can and i feel its working, feels like healing all my guilty feelings which i have alot, even though i did nothing bad.

Do you have to write it down as in pen and paper or can we type the letter?  If we write it down, can we dispose of the paper afterwards?  Just don't want to jink the letter.

I write a letter to him every day since the new year has began and keep it in a special box. I find it really helps get my emotions out instead of bottling them up or even worse, letting them out to him (as sometimes they may be negative feelings). I write a short one each day and I know that one day in the distant future, we'll be together and I'll let him read them. I really do know that it'll make him smile one day. Kind of like in the film 'The Notebook'!

I have to admit though, I have to keep back a fit of giggles when he's round my house, knowing that the drawer next to him contains unsent letters addressed to him. I can't even imagine how creepy he'd think it would be right now, but I only do it because it calms me, plus I love to write.

Writing letters - unsent ones - is a great way to get clarity on feelings and connect to the intuitive messages that are available.    Turn the negative statements into positive statements and they become great affirmations.    I have notebooks of written work about my guy.   It is funny as I sometimes think about them being at the house in the book cases when he visits.    I did tell him that I sent him lots of love almost daily while we were apart for a long time.  He said he thought about me everyday too.    Hoponopono puts one in a great heart place which helps us open to send and allow good feelings and communication - love!
