Success...then a negative response.

I know some of you have been reading about my recent success with my ex contacting me to "talk" after his exams were finished.  So I had texted him the other day, and he just responded today saying that there was nothing to talk about. I feel like I've lost all my recent success

Does anybody know of any affirmations that will help me?? I feel as if he still believes the rumor about me? It there anything to help me with that.

Hi Emily... i get where you are coming from ... i saw my ex sat night ... after 8 months ... i have heard from him frm time to time but this was our first meeting ... i dont feel any better about it now that i did b4 the meeting ... He initiated it and yet it was a very cold(emotionally ) night ... BUT i kind of feel indifferent about it all ... like ... Meh... i wld still like for it to work out but im not waiting on him anymore .. if the universe wants me to have him then fine .. if not fine .. damn .. i sometimes wonder what the hell im doing.. when it comes to him

anyway .. so far you have dsone well .. u have to stay detached .. stop over thining it .. just say .. fine! leave it at that dont qquestion it or him .. hopefull i can follow my own advice

Thank you for your support! I remember my last meeting with my ex was quite cold and he was pretty negative. And like you I've heard from him time to time since then, and when he intiated this meeting I was so excited and happy but then changed his mind

I know what you mean though, at first I was upset but I now I sort of feel like he really has to show me love if I'm going to be with him again.

at least some of you guys got invites from your exes i live 2000 miles away from my ex i never got to see my ex ever again only in pictures! Take it as a blessing to even get that far! I been tryying to get my ex back for two years now and im tired of putting so much effort in a person that is so mean to me and doesnt even deserve what i got to offer all she does is use me for a shoulder to cry on whenever she gets dumped... I deserve better and so do you all! Im always by myself with really no friends not meaning to sound negative lol but it sucks but it is what it is! I take it as a oppurtunity to listen to my thoughts and change my beliefs because it is all about your thoughts! Thoughts are things gl and smile your on the best forum for support thanks to ankur! Emily its not u need affirmations, its him.........u are pretty much clear in ur head unlike..........coz if u analyse from 3rd person point of view, he initiated talk with u n thn msgs there is nthng v have to talk abt......thats bcoz he is confused, and u need to let him be.....as they are he needs to clear in his head............whether he wants u or not...........do not chase him, just him be
