Hi,

I've done some reading about scripting and what I understand is that you can basically write the script of your life the way you want it to be. You write exactly what you desire in your life, put it out to the universe and believe that it would manifest.

I want to attract my ex boyfriend back into my life and I'm busy scripting about our life together, our relationship, our plans  ect in detail.

What I'm finding difficult is, according to the LOA, it's advised that one should not try attracting a specific person but rather attracting someone with the certain characteristics you admire.

I'm a bit confused about the way I'm scripting. Am I on the right track?

Any advice will be appreciated!

Hi G,

        The basic premise, as far as I can see it, around this subject is that for most of those with exes on their minds, there's also a lot of resistance, doubt, fear etc surrounding the desire to manifest back THAT exact person. So, instead, if you write out a list of characteristics pertaining to your ex - everything that he has or does and nothing that he hasn't (or doesn't - you understand, I'm sure), then the universe will deliver him without you having to think of his name and his face and all the rather unnerving feelings that that brings up.

Another thing re getting the ex back; it's basically down to YOUR beliefs. If you want to go internet surfing and find 10 people who say, 'it can't be done,' then you can. And if you want to find 10 people who say, 'it can be done - and I did it,' then you can. So bring it back down to neutral - what do YOU believe?

Thanks Tinseltown, it is so easy to get confused by all the contradicting views.
It truly does comes down to what you believe deep in your heart. That's the most powerful.

Yup...it comes down to If I can't do XYZ that becomes a limiting belief and you won't be able to do XYZ.  Sometimes you may have to change your tactics because of blocks you may have .

Tins, your post really helped me as well. Since the guy I love changed his number, I've been on the internet trying to find relationships similar to mine where the couple reunited. I guess looking for proof that it will happen. I'm trying to focus and rely on my own belief that we will be back together, but sometimes I get impatient.

You know I was rather dismayed when I first started attracting my ex BF back. Of course he is no longer my ex, but I was told (by Schenderson) that the universe would not give me anything less than what I asked for. And that is very true!  However I worried that if I asked for a man that was more affectionate than my ex, or if I asked for someone who was more serious about our relationship than my ex, or if I asked for qualities in a man that I didn't like about my ex, then since my ex was not any of those things, I would attract someone else who did have those qualities. I was like OMG! I don't want anyone else! I want him! But I did not want the same miserable relationship we had before. I wanted the affection, commitment and other things that would make me feel more loved and secure. I had no problem with his looks AT ALL. I had no problem with his intelligence or wit either because those things are what I admired about him. But that isn't all there is to a relationship.

So people would ask me, "Why do you want to attract someone back who made you feel more bad than good?"  I honestly didn't know why. Maybe because my heart felt that deep inside this man were those qualities that I wanted but were not displayed often. I knew he could be committed to someone as he had told me that he wanted to stay in his marriage and not get a divorce (4 years before we met;) I knew he could be affectionate as I had seen that side of him as well. All those inward  qualities I desired in a man were in him, but not necessarily brought to the surface. My heart knew however that it was possible to get the man I desired with the qualities I desired. But still I was fearful in asking the universe to give me a man with those particular inward qualities because my mind was telling me, "You didn't like that about him, so he isn't the man you really want."

yet I listened to my heart say,"Go ahead and don't be afraid to ask for those qualities. The man you want has those qualities, they just need to be brought to his surface." So I let go of the fear and said, "Hell. That's what I want. If it isn't him then I will get someone better". (knowing of course that it was really him who was created for me.

My heart was right. I got the man I wanted with the qualities I wanted because I trusted my heart and I trusted the universe to deliver! My boyfriend (no longer my ex,) changed outwardly. He is now committed, more affectionate, and more patient. He is still good looking, witty and intelligent too :-) We are having the same great times we had before only more of those great times! So she (Schenderson) was right. the universe did not give me less than what I asked for. It gave me exactly what I asked for and MORE!! It was also because my insecurity neediness and negative behavior before the breakup prevented him from being that man I always wanted. Once I became less needy and more secure, he was able to be that man I wanted!

So G, it is very possible to attract your boyfriend back with having those same qualities you desire in a man. My new and improved relationship is the relationship I always wanted with the (same) man I always wanted.

write that script and let it go. Release it to the universe with the trust and belief that it will deliver; and it WILL!!

In my beginning statement I said that I was attracting my BF back. What I meant to say was that when I was first trying to attract him back (I had not attracted him back yet.) But anyway, I was afraid to state my affirmations because my mind was telling me "You don't want this guy. he hurt you. You were miserable! Ask for somebody better." But my heart said "NO. You want this guy. he IS the one! You can have him AND a good relationship!" So then I stopped the fear of asking for what I wanted. And yes. I did affirm that it was him I wanted. and the universe brought out all that I wanted in him, because that is what I wanted!

Lets see,  after I let go and felt peace, knowing and feeling that he was on his way back to me for sure, detaching myself from the need and desperation of having him in my life to make me happy, he contacted me 5 days later. It took 4 weeks and 2 days to let go, so it was 5 weeks after he said we would have no more contact that he messaged my son on facebook wishing him a happy birthday. Now I must add that the sign that kept me going was that he never removed our relationship status on facebook. It was his way of telling me that we were not through. His birthday message was the first contact (indirectly) and I waited a few days then I commented on one of his wall posts. Nothing personal; just something a friend would write. he responded that he missed me. Then I felt it was okay to try and engage in a chat on Facebook and from there we resumed our relationship. I kept it casual in the beginning until he came here to live with me on December 31.

So yes; if your heart is telling you that he is the one you want, script it along with those qualities you want. He will begin to possess those qualities and you will have the relationship you want with the man you want. Script it with faith and belief. Don't be afraid that the universe will give you someone you didn't ask for; it will give exactly what you want and more!
