Thank you for the post.
Yes, she did have a nice happy long life.
Dogs with diabetes rarely live as long as she did and keep their eye sight so she was very blessed. Someday I'll write about the 9 lives of Chloe.....she had a very crazy life and lots of nutty things, that she survived happened to her.
Actually maybe I'll just do it now....it's kinda comical in a way.
She was hit by a car as a pup, she escaped through the door when we had a visitor.
She was bit on the nose and had an allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the emergency vet
She got diabetes
She had half her face ripped off in a fight with my mom's dog
She had cancer, the non spreading, non terminal kind in her leg
She was poisoned by the bad dog food during the national dog food scare
She was attacked by a Rottweiler and lost 3 inches of intestines
She had terrible and very expensive allergic reactions to pollen and grass and was on meds for that
She finally was diagnosed with terminal cancer
I think that is 9 lives.......Pretty amazing!!!
Anyway, if I had been on here a bit earlier you would have known I had to put my other pup down in February of this year, he was adopted a year and a half earlier. He was 4 when I had to put him down due to a brain lesion, he came from an abusive home and apparently someone had beat him bad enough to cause the brain injury but it took a while for it to develop fully. They said it was due to extreme head trauma and since I never beat him obviously it was an early injury. He was just the most sweet little guy and talk about cute.......I knew the moment I saw his picture he was meant for me. He was so in love with me, my guy swore he was a previous boyfriend reincarnated. He would just sit and stare at me adoringly and he wanted to be with me all the time. I have attached a picture of him too! What a sweetheart. His name is Fin.
Thank you again for all the well wishes, I appreciate it so much!!
Love you all!!
