respond on facebook, first step

Hey guys!
I just have a question for you! I have a crush on a man that is 8 years older than me, and he is a pretty famous musician. I am 19 myself. A while ago i went to a concert, and I had been visualizing me being backstage with him and his band, and I actually made that happen. I am still very grateful. And proud!

Anyways, I kind of felt like I got a good connection with him that night, and he wanted me to add him on facebook. Some days after the concert i said hi, and he responded saying he had a fun time. He was being very polite and friendly, but it didn't really lead into a conversation, so I kind of didn't respond back because it seemed to me that he wasn't that interested, and i didn't want to be too forward. 

But then, some weeks later when i got home from school and logged on fb he started talking to me just out of the blue! Asking all kinds of stuff, and he seemed to be really interested. When he had to go, he said that we will see each other soon, and we would talk again soon.

This stuff made my day big time, and some days later I decided to buy tickets to one of his upcoming concerts. But then i did something that I kind of regret right now, because i logged on to fb and sent him a message saying something like; remeber to say hi if i show up on that may-concert! That was last saturday, and still he haven't respond back! I am trying to stay positive, but now that he didnt respond I am not really sure if I want to buy those tickets. I mean, if he really was interested, he would have respond, right? At least said something..

So, do any of you have any advice? I am trying to visualize him answering me, but everytime I log into fb and don't see a new message from him, i kind of lose my hope. I have tried not to be on fb for longer periods, but then the disappointment gets even bigger when i log in.. And actually, an answer is just first step, what i really want to attract is a relationship with this man..

You dont know how many messages he may get...he could have accidentally over looked yours.  I do that sometimes, or I mean to reply and forget and several days go by....
Dont give up, buy the tickets and go have a great time...who knows what may happen!
